  • Virgo Solar Eclipse on 9.21.25

The Virgo solar eclipse takes place on September 21, 2025 at 2:54 pm central when the transit Sun and Moon will both be at 29° Virgo conjunct the South Node. The eclipse taking place at 29° is a major feature, considering 29° is the anaretic degree. There is also a beautiful (out of sign) kite aspect pattern in the chart, along with some galactic activations. Suffice to say there is A LOT going on with this one.

What follows are some possible themes of the Virgo solar eclipse that may come up for you as an individual (or for the collective). How this actually plays out for YOU personally depends on what this astroweather is doing to your personal astrology chart. Take into consideration the houses that it falls and any planets/angles/etc. that it aspects. If you would like for ME to read for you about this eclipse (or any kind of astrology reading!), that can be done by clicking this text. If you are more of a “watcher” than a “reader,” here is a video that I did on this same thaaaaang.

Solar Eclipse shown by the Star Cards

Also! real quick (just basic info):
-Lunar Eclipses take place during Full Moons
–Keywords for Full Moons: Illumination, Culmination, Release
    – Solar Eclipses take place during New Moons
–Keywords for New Moons: Planting Seeds, Setting Intentions, New Beginnings
-Eclipses tend to be wild & unpredictable. Expect the unexpected.
**This is a South Node Eclipse since the Moon is conjunct the South Node. This means that one probably has to “go back” in some capacity in order to move forward.

What does the anaretic degree (29°) mean?
You will read a whole bunch of different things about a planet at 29° of a sign, but I tend to think of this degree as both “tired” but can’t rest just yet (it still has shit to do). It’s kind of like this – you get home from a trip, and you have ALL of your bags to unpack and put away (let’s also say your house is a mess, too, to illustrate the point further). All you want to do is sit on the couch and relax, but you see all the stuff around the house that needs to be done to make the house more livable. THIS is a perfect illustration of 29° of a sign. ALL it wants to do is rest and relax, but it can’t rest and relax until it has finished everything that it needs to do.

There is so much power and change that is possible under this eclipse with the (out of sign) kite between the eclipse, Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, and Neptune in Aries/Saturn in Pisces as the tail. This means that all the things started under this eclipse need to ultimately serve the purpose (Virgo energy is service and purpose focused) of moving towards the future (with the transit North Node ALSO in Pisces), dissolving boundaries/structures that don’t need to exist….so that dream building can (eventually) occur. For a lot of you, what you put in place right now matters (even if nothing big feels like it happens).

Under this eclipse I wouldn’t be too concerned about making plans that you are rigid about sticking with. That doesn’t mean that you don’t make ANY plans at all (you SHOULD), but they need to be adjustable. Having an outline is probably good enough. Focus may also be a thing – overactive focus or underactive focus. Try to focus on what DOES have your attention if you can (unless your focus is all over the place, my guess is that something WILL have your focus….and there is probably a reason for that).

Some themes that may come up under the Virgo solar eclipse:

    The Past
Because this is a South Node eclipse, there probably is a strong pull to the past in some capacity. Setting things “right” and/or “correct” that may not have been done “right” and/or “correct” to begin with seems like a possibility. Cleaning things up that need to be cleaned up (or, even, clearing up things that need to be cleared up). All of above are very Virgoan in nature.
**There might also be a sense of it being the “last time” that you can start something Virgo-like in nature due to the anaretic degree’s involvement with this eclipse. It doesn’t matter if it’s the actual last time you’re able to start something or not- that “last chance” feeling may exist regardless.

    Coming Down to Earth
Was anything illuminated for you under the lunar eclipse in Pisces? Anything that was released but maybe it’s sat in limbo-land for a week or so? Have you been trying to figure out what to do with what was released, or what to do with what was illuminated? The Virgo solar eclipse is the perfect time to DO something with anything that may have come up. Bringing these things that were illuminated or released down to earth to do something with them in real life seems like a great way to work with this eclipse energy.
**What needs to come down to earth may or may not be entirely pleasant for you. Tedious and taxing are the words that come to mind should what needs to come down to earth not be pleasant (like, you might find it tedious or taxing or something like that). Because Virgo energy can also be anxious and nervous (and there is a little bit of this with the anaretic degree as well – knowing that it has shit to get done), there could be some anxiety and nervousness surrounding bringing whatever may need to come down to earth, down to earth. Should this exist, I think there is even MORE anxiety and nervousness if you chose NOT to translate whatever down to earth.

    The Little Things
For some of y’all, the small things (the details) that happen now are actually BIG things. This may or may not be realized at the time of the eclipse (sometimes this kind of thing is best seen from a retrospective lens). Like, maybe under this solar eclipse you make some kind of small change to your daily life. This could be a habit that you decide to break, a ritual you decide to incorporate – there are several Virgo-esque possibilities afoot. You may not realize it until down the line that whatever (small) thing you do now impacts you in big ways down the line.

Effort & Work (where and where not to put in that effort & work)
Virgo energy is all about work and putting in effort. You might find that under this eclipse there are things that you decide that you want to put the work and effort into. Maybe they are things that you’ve wanted to do for a long time but never did before. Maybe it’s something that you used to put effort and work into “back in the day” and now you want to put that effort and work into again. Maybe it’s not even about putting in effort and work, but that you STOP putting in effort and work towards something that you don’t need to put effort and work into. Regardless of what it is, or what it looks like, I could see this sort of thing come up for some of y’all.

    Crisis Point Reached
While I don’t mind this eclipse overall (I didn’t mind the Pisces lunar eclipse, either), some of y’all might reach some kind of “crisis point” (Virgo energy has a correlation with the notion of “crisis”). This may or may not be anything major (remember, Virgo energy DOES also deal with the details & the little things!), but there could be some kind of crisis (or mini-crisis) reached with this lunation. I almost get the sense that if there IS a crisis of some sort it probably has something to do with having to make a decision about something (and, maybe, not being sure what to do). I make that last comment because of Mars at 29° Libra (also an anaretic degree!) which means Mars will know it needs to do something but might not know WHAT to do….or even want to make a choice in the first place.
**The Virgo solar eclipse features some galactic activations with the conjunction it makes to the Super Galactic Center at 2° Libra (and Mars at 29° Libra conjunct the Shapley Attractor at roughly 2° Scorpio). The eclipse’s conjunction to the SGC could make taking action more difficult (the SGC seems like a place where a person can sit on the fucking fence for too long); luckily I think the 29° Sun & Moon might be enough to get something to happen (it’s not going to be able to “relax” until something is done). Mars conjunct Shapley makes me think that inaction will attract situations that force a choice to be made or an action to be taken (so it’s probably better to take action on your own rather than be forced to take it).

A little tiny bit of STORYTIME to illustrate this eclipse – A few days after the Virgo solar eclipse I will be going to the social security office to legally change my last name. I didn’t time it this way (swear I didn’t 🤣!), this was just the soonest appointment the local social security office could get me in for the name change (and it happens to be right after the eclipse). This might seem like a small thing (even tedious and/or mundane – fucking around at the social security office 😂), but it’s MASSIVE to me. My South Node at 0° Libra, Midheaven at 28° Virgo, and the asteroid “Adams” at 29° Virgo are all conjunct this eclipse. Because of the things in play in my own chart, it feels a little like this eclipse serves as the baton pass between the “old way” and the “new way”. This seems backed up further when I consider that the asteroid for Burck is conjunct Mercury in my chart (Mercury is the ruler of my Virgo MC). While I know what my name will be on all my legal documents, there has been a tiny bit of “crisis” as to what I am known as professionally (and I’ve been pouring over the details for the past few months). Since the start of my business, Adams has been my last name, and while I am not sorry to see it go I do know that it can throw people (and searches) off when name changes take place. So….it’s been a mental process for me, ironing out the details (which are still NOT all the way ironed out).
**Funny enough (and what beautiful timing!) – As I was typing this post I saw that an interview I did a month ago JUST went live (I didn’t think it would be live so soon 🤣). In this interview I introduce myself with my new name.

  • Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (Sept. 2025)

The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on September 7, 2025 at 1:09 pm central isn’t the unrealistic shitshow that I had original imagined before looking at the chart 🤣  Full disclaimer: Usually, I really detest lunations along the Virgo/Pisces axis (they tend to square SOMETHING that I have in Sagittarius in my own chart; I have A LOT of stuff in Sagittarius). Because of this sometimes I will forgo talking about them/writing about them at all and just pretend they aren’t happening lol. However, even though this one IS square a bunch of stuff in my own chart….it really doesn’t bother me. Dare I say I might even LIKE this one? Even though I’m still (probably) going to find it personally annoying (hahahaha), from a collective lens it seems & feels nice.

Real Quick: If you would like me to read your astrology chart for you (about this lunar eclipse or otherwise), that can be done by clicking on this text.   Also, if you are more of a watcher than a reader, here is a video about this same thing.

Also! real quick (just basic info):
-Lunar Eclipses take place during Full Moons
–Keywords for Full Moons: Illumination, Culmination, Release
    – Solar Eclipses take place during New Moons
–Keywords for New Moons: Planting Seeds, Setting Intentions, New Beginnings
-Eclipses tend to be wild & unpredictable. Expect the unexpected.
-This is a North Node eclipse (transit Moon in Pisces conjunct the North Node), meaning collectively and individually we are having things illuminated that are occurring to push us forward. Same thing could be said about things that come to culmination and things that need to be released

Star Cards showing the lunar eclipse
The Star Cards laid out to show the planetary energies in play

Some themes that might come out to play under this eclipse energy:

    1) RELEASE
Releasing is something that Pisces energy does (a way that it may express itself). Are there things that you are feeling called to release? Because we are talking about eclipse energy the things that might be illuminated to be released might be things that you aren’t expecting. Or maybe there are things that you’re expecting to release, but how they are released (how it is illuminated that they need to be released might be a little different than “planned”). If you know that there are things that you are wanting to release, this eclipse energy can be pointed towards this direction.

    2) DREAMS & the UNCONSCIOUS
Pisces energy can express itself in a dreamer sort of way. The kind of dreams that Pisces energy deals are the sort that feel SO unrealistic or unattainable. But are they REALLY unrelastic and unattainable? Well, maybe sometimes 🤣 I won’t bullshit you. However, there is something about this lunation that makes me think of dreams being illuminated (perhaps even some that one keeps unconscious). Luckily, we have the Sun in Virgo (and Mercury in Virgo, where Mercury is exalted) to help bring these things down to the real world.
**Also, about dreams (and sleeping) – some of y’all might feel extra tired under this eclipse (they can be energy suckers). Listen to your body (which is very Virgoian) and rest if you need it. On the flip side of that, some of y’all might not feel like you CAN sleep. Sleep seems like it gets fucked with, lol. Some of y’all might find that you’re dreaming more than you normally do. Take note of the things that are revealed in dreams under the lunar eclipse energy. There might be something to do in the physical world with those dreams.

    3) SPIRIT COMMUNICATION
This particular one might not be for “everyone,” but if you are someone who is inclined to receive messages from spirit (or is aware that you are receiving messages from spirit – I think we ALL have this ability but not everyone believes or acknowledges it) it seems like this eclipse might be “busy” with this kind of activity. And because the Sun and Mercury are in Virgo, there is a direct line right now down to the real world for spirit to come through.
**The Virgo/Pisces axis deals a whole bunch with the real/physical world (Virgo) and….whatever else exists beyond that (Pisces). Virgo doesn’t get the credit necessary (imo) as the translator for what Pisces is able to sense.

    4) SENSITIVITY, EMPATHY, and COMPASSION
Pisces energy is incredibly sensitive, as well as compassionate & empathetic. Ways that you “should” be more compassionate could be illuminated. Ways that you need compassion might also come through as well. The Moon is trine Jupiter (the traditional ruler of Pisces) in Cancer during this event, allowing for all of the above to flow through easily. The Sun and Mercury in Virgo can translate this down to Earth, making it clear how to be of service with this empathy, etc. and even how you might need to be “served.”

    5) CONFUSION
Yeah….any time you get a lunation in Pisces, you could very easily be looking at confusion and shit that doesn’t make sense (because Pisces energy can be a messy bitch 🤣). Take any “confusion” or the feeling of being between two worlds….and do something creative with it. Another thing you can do is mentally retrace your steps. By this I mean if you happen to get really confused for seemingly no reason, or you start feeling messy (with no creative outlet in sight!), think back to what you were doing when you started to feel confused, messy, etc. Could whatever you were doing right before that have anything to do with why you feel confused, messy, etc. now? Getting down to the details of things which the Sun in Virgo will appreciate.
…..Or you can create goofy shit that makes no sense like THICC PIKACHU representing this eclipse 🤪

How does this one play out for you personally? This depends so much on your own astrology chart. Look to see what houses this lunation takes place – this will give you an idea of what areas of life it will play out through (houses in the chart = WHERE things happen or “areas of life”). Also! Make sure to consider any aspects that this eclipse is making to planets in your chart (because this will impact things as well).

  • Transit Jupiter in Cancer

What do you personally believe in? Why do you believe it? Where does that belief come from…..and where, from within you, does it take root (same questions could (and should be) asked about personal truth). These are the kinds of questions that may come up with transit Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter governs beliefs, expansion, and the search for meaning, while Cancer makes everything personal. With this combination, it’s hard not to feel prompted to explore your inner world and ask: What do I really stand for?
**When looking at transits, it’s important to consider how they interact with your personal astrology chart….so you can see how these energies could unfold for you. If you’d like a personal astrology reading, you can book an astrology session with me by clicking here**

Let’s start this post on transit Jupiter in Cancer with some dates, “keywords” and other thangs:
-Jupiter will enter Cancer on June 9, 2025 and it will be there until June 30, 2026.
-Jupiter will be retrograde in Cancer from November 11, 2025 through March 10, 2026
-Jupiter’s orbital period is one year
    -Jupiter is “exalted” in Cancer
-Transit North Node is in Pisces and transit South Node is in Virgo
(this matters because Pisces is traditionally ruled by Jupiter)

I will show off the Star Cards any chance I get 🤣

Some “keywords” for what Jupiter may express:

Some “keywords” for how Cancer energy may express:

    NostalgiaMoodyEmotionsFeelingsPersonal“The Mother”
    IntuitiveNeedy(Emotional) Security & InsecurityProtectiveAbandoned &
    Abandoning Withdrawn
    ReceptiveFamilyDomesticatedSensitiveCompetitiveSentimental

**None of the things that a planet may want to express OR the ways that a sign may express itself are inherently “good” or “bad.” The above (and others not mentioned) are just expressions – it’s entirely up to a person (or the collective) WHAT (the planet) and HOW (the sign) they manifest**

Some things that feel possible to come up under this transit (both individually and collectively)

Expansion of Emotions, Sentimentality, and Home & Family
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, and yes, it can be a little extra sometimes. During its stay in Cancer, some people might literally expand their families or their homes. Others may find themselves feeling more emotional, nostalgic, and/or sentimental than usual. And this isn’t limited to people who typically operate that way (this can touch anyone). What’s key during this time is to check in with yourself regularly. Ask: “Am I being a little too extra about this?” For some of you, the answer will be no – you’re showing up with just the right amount of feeling and emotion. For others, you might need to dial it back.

    Understanding Emotions & Feelings
During this transit, some individuals (and some pockets of the collective) may become more tapped in to understanding emotions and feelings. On the surface, that might sound like a simple or even universally positive development (emotional things are rarely simple, though). While greater emotional understanding can foster compassion and connection, in the wrong hands, it could also be manipulated or weaponized. Of course, that won’t be true for everyone, but it’s something to be mindful of as this transit unfolds.

Truth Seeking (and Knowledge) about Family, Home and even the “Homeland”
During this transit, there may be a strong individual and collective urge to seek the truth about one’s family and the personal meaning of “home.” How this could come about on a personal level will vary depending on each person’s unique circumstances. On a collective level, this energy could manifest as knowledge and truth seeking (even understanding) about the concept of “homeland.” Cancer energy doesn’t just deal with notions of an individual’s home, but it can also represent the homeland of a person (or the notion of “homeland” in general). As a result, we may see a broader movement toward uncovering truths and seeking wisdom regarding such.

    Personal Beliefs (and Truth)
What do you truly believe and why? Are those beliefs actually yours because YOU believe them, or do they stem from your upbringing, your roots, or your family? Do they need to be unraveled? When I say “beliefs,” I mean ALL beliefs…religious, metaphysical, spiritual, philosophical, political, and beyond. The important thing is that what you believe feels personal to you (and that they are YOURS). The same goes for your personal truth. Do you know what that looks like? If not, (and if you haven’t been actively exploring it) this transit may stir something in you. It might nudge you to start that search, or to go deeper into it, bringing you a little closer to understanding what your personal truth really is.

**Keep in mind that however this transit goes, whatever way you choose to “work it” personally (or how we collectively choose to work it), the possibility of Jupiterian things being exaggerated is high. This is not only because Jupiter can be rather “extra” anyway (lol) but because Jupiter is exalted in Cancer (exaltation = exaggeration).**

There is also a historical element that should be mentioned in this post (I brought this up briefly in the YouTube video that I did on this same subject). From a personal standpoint, think back to what was going on in your life the last time that Jupiter was in Cancer (this was from June 26, 2013 through July 16, 2014). What comes up while Jupiter is in Cancer this time won’t be EXACTLY the same as what came up for you (and collectively) in 2013/2014, but there probably will be SOME themes that echo the past (how “nostalgic” and “sentimental”). For instance, in July of 2013, right after Jupiter moved into Cancer, I married a massive asshole. We got divorced in 2022, but I have (somewhat recently) instigated something that should have happened when we were getting divorced (and what I have instigated will continue for a good portion of the time that Jupiter is in Cancer in 2025). So, there is definitely an echo of the past going on from this side of the page.

From a collective (and historical) standpoint I started thinking back to what was going on the last time Jupiter was in Cancer. Just for a little quick history (lol), here are just a few things that were going on in the world at the time:
-“Fallout” from Edward Snowden’s release of fuckery by the different US alphabet agencies
    -Rise of ISIS
-Russia pulling its bullshit in Crimea
    -2014 American Immigration Crisis

As I was thinking back, though, my attention quickly turned to the transiting nodal axis. It has always caught my attention that transit Jupiter will be in Cancer while the transit North Node is in Pisces…and Jupiter is one of the rulers of Pisces…and it’s exalted in Cancer. Then I started looking for when the last time Jupiter was in Cancer AND the Nodal Axis was transiting the Virgo/Pisces Axis.  What I came back with was that in mid-July 1978 through early-September 1978 and again from early-March through late-April 1979, Jupiter was in Cancer and the transit North Node was in Virgo (with the transit South Node in Pisces).
**The nodal axis was flipped in 1978 & 1979 from where it is now, but for the purposes of this exercise, I was just looking for when the nodal axis was in the signs of Virgo and Pisces, not necessarily the North Node in Pisces.

These cards from the Illuminati Card Game coming in HOT
(and lololol at calling them the “moral minority”)

What was going on in the late 1970s (during this period) that feels incredibly relevant in the US in 2025 (especially here in Texas which is where I live)? Well, that would be the rise of the christian right in politics, with the “moral majority” coming into frame and all that bullshit. Make no mistake – there was religious shit in politics before the late 1970s, but it was THIS “moral majority” Jerry Falwell bullshit which really kicked it off (and we have seen waves of it ever since….and we’re seeing a massive wave of it right now). Interestingly enough, the rise of christian right took off during the period of time that the transiting North Node was in Virgo and the transiting South Node was in Pisces (flipped from how it is currently in 2025) with transit Jupiter in Cancer. The North Node is where we are wanting to “go,” and while Virgo energy can be incredibly decent and helpful, it can also be incredibly puritanical (this is a shadow of this sign energy). Pisces energy, where the transit South Node was at the time in the late 1970s, can be a little “confused” and “unrealistic” (and with Jupiter exalted in Cancer during some of this nodal axis transit in the 1970’s, it feels like there could have been some “confusion” and “lack of realism” about beliefs…that were very exaggerated).

Currently in 2025, we have the transiting South Node in Virgo and the transiting North Node in Pisces. It seems like we are coming from a more “puritanical” place (the Virgo South Node) and we are desperately wanting (aching!) to move towards a more accepting way of being and existing (the Pisces North Node). Honestly, I HOPE that’s the way that all of this goes (though, there are other transits going on that make me less hopeful). Realistically though, it could be that we are moving towards a more “confused” or “unrealistic” place (both of those keywords are also very Pisces). There isn’t ANYTHING realistic or sustainable with the way that this country is going. This is especially true here in Texas and all the bullshit the government is pulling. Such as (but not limited to) the Texas government shoving religious bullshit down the throats of children (such as the Ten Commandments having to be displayed in public schools….da fuq is this bullshit?!). Most of our politicians in this state appear to have been bought by a few evangelisterrorists out in West Texas who seem hellbent on turning this state into some crazy ass Christian fundamentalist theocracy. People in the US think they are just a Texas problem (if people know the names Tim Dunn and Farris Wilks at all) but make no mistake – they are coming for the whole country next. They have already started laying the groundwork.
….I’ve said this a million times before, but I’ll say it again: RELIGION HAS NO PLACE IN FUCKING POLITICS. BELIEFS HAVE NO PLACE IN FUCKING POLITICS. Can/should a person VOTE based on their beliefs? Sure, nothing wrong with that. Should we be putting things into law that are based in religious belief? Absolutely the fuck not. The argument people will make is that the “uS is A cHRistIAN nATioN!” These fools need a fucking history lesson.

Look, I’m not trying to rag on religion. Some people have their beliefs because they truly believe them – I would never rag on someone for having personal beliefs, dogma attached or not. There are plenty of people who have a religious faith and don’t force their beliefs onto anyone else (you all are NOT the people I’m talking to). The issue with Jupiter in Cancer (Jupiter energy can absolutely tie in with religion, religious beliefs, and dogma), is that beliefs (especially those which are very personal) can be SO exaggerated because they are SO personal. Just because something is YOUR personal belief doesn’t mean everyone else needs to believe it, too (or that it’s even “true” in a universal sense in the first place – something can be true to a person and be batshit crazy to everyone else, etc.). If you find yourself feeling that you need to shove your beliefs down someone else’s throat, or impose your beliefs on someone else (which could go against the way another person lives their life without hurting anyone else), you need to ask yourself WHY and understand where this need comes from in the first place. If it comes from some level of personal insecurity (Cancer energy strives for security but can be incredibly insecure), check yourself. If you find that religion (or your beliefs) are used to control someone else or manipulate someone/something else (perhaps because it was passed down to you to function this way), check yourself. If you are using religion as a “beard” so you can be (or continue to be) a piece of shit person, please check the fuck out of yourself. Everyone needs to get really fucking honest with themselves as they unravel this stuff. Some of y’all out there need to ask yourself “why is my religion, or why are my beliefs, so far superior to anyone else’s beliefs (or lack of belief) that they need to be imposed onto others that don’t share said belief/religion?” This would take a level of self-awareness that so many seem to lack, so from a logical place I’m not super-hopeful. But…isn’t it just EASIER to let people just “be” and “exist”? That’s something that is possible under transit Jupiter in Cancer AND the transiting nodal axis in Pisces & Virgo (and is something for which the North Node in Pisces yearns). We just have to actually DO it (and knock off the puritanical bullshit).

  • The Transiting Nodal Axis Moves into Virgo & Pisces

    STORY TIME!
(this story does feel appropriate to share as the transiting nodes move into Virgo & Pisces – bear with me for a second)

On January 1, 2021, when my son was 3 years old he was in an accident involving a tractor. To this day I STILL don’t know ALL of the details of this accident and STILL have more questions than answers (I wasn’t there when it happened but I did go to the hospital with him). Did he fall off the tractor? Was he hit by the tractor? Why the fuck did my ex-husband feel that it was appropriate to have a 3-year-old near (or on) a moving tractor in the first place? Anyone who has a child knows that when your child is hurt ALL you want to be able to do is fix what’s wrong and work to make things better for them (I know that this feeling isn’t limited to a parent and their child). When this accident happened there wasn’t ANYTHING I could do to make it better for my son. I was trying to soothe him, to distract him, to clean him off (all the blood all over his face that wouldn’t stop no matter how much pressure I applied or how often I attempted to clean his face off), trying to keep him awake and talking (there was initial concern of a concussion)….ALL the things, trying to “fix” him and find a “solution” to his injuries. Honestly, I’ve never felt so fucking useless in all of my life; nothing I was doing to try to fix him and make him better was helping a goddamn bit (not that this was about me, it wasn’t, but I do remember feeling SO fucking useless and helpless). As he was sitting in my lap, letting me hold him as we colored a picture, it dawned on me that what he needed in that moment (at that time) was for me to JUST BE with him. There wasn’t any work that I needed to put in to try and fix him or make him better, there wasn’t anything that I could do (so I didn’t need to feel guilty that I couldn’t make him better on my own). On that day in the hospital, what he needed from me was just to be there with him and to exist with him (and for me to surrender to all of this).
I felt compelled to share this story because it SO PERFECTLY (hahaha Virgo energy) illustrates the way the transiting nodal axis in Virgo & Pisces (North Node in Pisces & South Node in Virgo) feels (even though when this event occurred the transit North Node was in Gemini and the transit South Node was in Sagittarius). Also because this particular event has come to the forefront of my mind recently for a bunch of reasons.

Every 18 months or so, the transiting Nodal Axis changes signs (they have been along the Aries/Libra Axis since July 2023). This changes on January 11, 2025 when the transiting nodal axis moves into Virgo and Pisces (the South Node moving into Virgo and the North Node moving into Pisces). They will be in these signs until July 27, 2026.

Just a few quick things about the North & South Nodes:
-Normal motion for the nodes is retrograde.
–This means that 0° Aries is the end (of the nodal axis cycle), and 29° Pisces is the beginning (of the nodal axis cycle). So, quite literally the beginning and the end (or the Alpha & the Omega).
-There are two different nodes you can use: the true node and the mean node. The difference between the two is negligible and it really is a personal preference as for which one to use. If you use the true node, they will sometimes be direct. If you use the mean node, they will always be retrograde since the mean node is an average.
-The South Node is what is “familiar” or “comfortable” (even if it’s energy really isn’t comfortable at all). The North Node is where a person (or a collective) is wanting to move towards and become familiar.
**Want to know more about the Nodal Axis and how to read it in an astrology chart? The course “Where You’ve Been and Where You Want to Go” starts on January 21, 2025, at 6 pm central over zoom (more information on the course can be found here).
**More of a watcher than a reader? You can find a video that I did on the transiting nodes in Virgo & Pisces on YouTube.

What follows in this post are the different themes that seem like they could come up over these next 18 months, both on the individual and collective levels. HOW the transiting nodes along the Virgo & Pisces Axis play out for you personally depends on your personal astrology chart (and what the transiting nodes are doing to it). If you want me to read for you (or just need a little help deciphering this transit for yourself), you can get a reading from me here.

    Purpose/Work vs Existing/Just Being
Virgo energy is very busy (it is ruled by Mercury, after all). It’s not the Gemini kind of busy (also Mercury ruled). Gemini is busy just to be busy, but Virgo energy is busy with a purpose. Usually that purpose involves being of service, of use, and/or of help. Pisces energy, on the other hand, doesn’t function this way; Pisces energy purely “exists” and knows how to be in a state of “just being.” Sometimes there isn’t anything that one can do, there isn’t anything that can be helped…one just (kind of) has to be able to exist. This one feels like a big deal for this transit, and I think (collectively and/or individually) we will all be called to just “be” and to just “exist” at different times (and to know there isn’t anything wrong with this).

    Real vs Unreal
During this particular transit there will probably be many times where we all think (collectively and individually) “is what is happening actually real?!” Virgo energy has a down-to-earth presentation and lives in the real/physical world. Pisces energy, on the other hand, is “head in the clouds” and tends to not be (as) realistic (or live in the real world) at all. There are so many things currently going on in the world that have so many people asking “how the hell is this really happening?”….my guess is we are bound to feel even more of this under the course of this transit.
**This could manifest itself in a bunch of different ways. The way that we function in real life is probably subject to change (which, through the shift, can cause things to feel “unreal”).

    Fixing vs Dissolving
Virgo energy is the “fixer” – it wants to fix and make things better (to be helpful, to be of use, etc.). Under the duration of this transit, I think we will all find (collectively and individually) that some things just can’t be fixed. Sometimes the only way to really “fix” something is to let it dissolve…perhaps because it is beyond fixing in the first place.
**In terms of the world at large, often times it feels like we are putting band aids on bullet holes (putting band aids on things that just can’t be fucking fixed). In my opinion, there are things that NEED to desperately be allowed to dissolve, and I would bet that you, the reader, can think of some things that need to be allowed to be dissolved, too (both collectively and individually).

    Health vs Healing
They sound like they could be the same thing, but they really aren’t. You can be “healthy” and not actually be healing yourself (or healed). Virgo energy is concerned with health and healthfulness (especially of the physical body and the mind), but Pisces energy tends to deal with healing (especially that of the mind and soul). A person can live an incredibly healthy lifestyle (eating “right,” exercising, etc.) and be SO unhealed on the inside. The transiting nodes doing their thing over the next 18 months feels like it will be calling us (collectively and/or individually) to ask what “healthy” actually is and if we are actually in a state of healing.
**Let’s face it, we are ALL needing to heal from SOMETHING. This world is a rough place.

    Guilt/Shame vs Release
Virgo energy can tend to feel guilt and shame…and oftentimes I find that this energy can feel guilt and shame for no good reason. In *some* cases there may actually be something for Virgo energy to be guilty about, but it can take that guilt to extremes (which then can spiral into shame). Guilt *can* be a useful emotion for it can help us to do better next time. Shame, on the other hand, never breeds anything helpful or useful. Regardless of why the guilt and/or shame may exist on a collective and/or individual level, there is a need for release of anything along those lines while the transiting North Node is in Pisces.
**Release is actually one of the BEST ways that Pisces energy can manifest in my opinion.

    Purity vs Mixture
This one might sound kind of strange so bear with me. Virgo energy can be concerned with “cleanliness” and “purity” (these, like all other expressions, may not always come through with Virgo energy…but they certainly can). This could come about with a focus on keeping things clean and sanitized, all the way over to a preoccupation with “purity” (and a sort of sanitization on steroids). It seems like we could all be coming from (individually and/or collectively) a focus on cleanliness (this could be how to keep things clean and sanitized, or even where we haven’t been as clean as we me have wanted to be/should be). Pisces energy is not focused on any of these notions – it is much more about “blending” and “mixtures” since this energy is so fluid. There will probably be a push towards embracing “the mixture” (though I’m sure there will be push back from those still focused on the notion of “purity”).
**I can see this one going a bunch of different ways. We need to keep in mind that we are ALL mixtures of different things and that’s okay (there is very little that is actually “pure” – people, places, things, and situations).

    The Details vs Wholeness
Virgo energy is detail oriented and uses a “micro” lens to see the world around it. Pisces energy, on the other hand, uses a “macro” lens to see the world around it and is more oriented towards wholeness. Under the course of the transit nodes in these signs (with the transit North Node in Pisces), we probably WILL individually and/or collectively be called to focus more on the whole of a situation (whatever that situation might be). This is when the details of certain situations (collectively and/or individually) come together to create the whole of something.
**An example of this is the last time the transiting nodes were along this axis (with the North Node in Pisces) we saw the housing bubble burst (in 2006) and the Great Recession begin (in 2007). For those who had been paying attention to the details for years before this, they were able to see this coming a mile away (maybe not WHEN exactly this was going to happen, but that the pieces were in on the board for something like this to take place). I bring up this specific example because we have seen issues with housing for years now (people not being able to afford homes, etc.). It does make me wonder if something might come about from January 11, 2025 through July 27, 2026 regarding housing (all those different pieces, or details, already appear to be on the board).

    Some other quick considerations:
-When looking at the transiting nodes (along with the nodal axis in general), you want to also consider the ruler of the nodes. Mercury, the ruler of the South Node, will change signs (along with turning retrograde) several times throughout these 18 months (too many to name here). The rulers of the North Node in Pisces, Jupiter and Neptune, don’t change signs as often (so their shifts are more significant).
–This transit will start out with Jupiter in Gemini (where it is in “detriement”). From June 9, 2025 through June 30, 2026 Jupiter will be in Cancer (where it is exalted). Exaltation isn’t a “good” thing or a “bad” thing – it just EXAGGERATES the planetary energy in question, meaning it will exaggerate the transiting North Node in Pisces. The North Node’s time in Pisces will end with Jupiter in Leo.
–This transiting nodal axis in Virgo & Pisces will start out with Neptune in Pisces, but on March 30, 2025 Neptune will make its first pass into Aries. THIS is a major shift which will surely impact HOW this transit plays out.

A client of mine who watched the first YouTube video that I did about this nodal transit left a comment saying that what I was saying in the video made her think of the Serenity Prayer. Because this felt extremely nail on the head for the transiting nodes in Virgo & Pisces, I will leave this here:

“(Father), Give us courage to change what must be altered,
serenity to accept what cannot be helped,
and the insight to know the one from the other.”
