Chiron Returns happens about every 48-52 years – this means that if someone lives to see 50 or so years old, they will experience transit Chiron “coming home” to it’s exact position in their natal chart. Same thing is true of countries – if a country exists beyond 48 to 52 years, it, too, will see a Chiron Return. **This article IS a repost, but since the original post is from January 11, 2022 and the algorithm likes “new” shit (and also because this post is relevant more than ever now), it’s getting reposted. Chiron Returns bring up Chiron’s core wounding in a chart – forcing one to acknowledge the pain and wounding that exists there. This is made easier if the person (or if the country) has already put in some work to help heal their Chiron wounding before the Return happens. Even if work has already been put in on attempting to heal Chiron during previous times in one’s life, the Return serves as a benchmark to see just what you’ve learned (and to respond accordingly). The United States has actually had 4 Chiron Return previously, so the one coming up in the 2020’s is not our first rodeo. However, this one IS a little different in that it coincides with the US’s Pluto Return (it comes in hot on the heels of the apex of the Pluto Return), while also being boxed in with the US’s Uranian Return/Uranus entering Gemini. THESE factors do make this Chiron Return a little more unique (just by virtue of being sandwiched by two other massive transit events).
For a timeline, Chiron’s Return will be going on from: -May 23, 2022 through September 15, 2022 -March 23, 2023 through May 20, 2025 -October 12, 2025 through March 22, 2026 The reason for the time being broken up is because I use an orb of 5-degrees applying and separating between transit and natal Chiron, and during those breaks in time transit Chiron will be out of that 5-degree applying or separating orb with the US’s natal Chiron.
Just for reference, Pluto’s Return is already going on from present through December 27, 2025 (this technically started in early 2020). Transit Pluto will be conjunct the US’s natal Pluto on February 20, 2022, July 12, 2022, and on December 27, 2022. Uranus will enter Gemini “for good” (not retrograding back into Taurus) on April 26, 2026. This puts Chiron’s Return right in the middle of all of this.
The US has it’s natal Chiron at 20 Aries 08 in the 4th House. Since the US is dealing with a 4th House Chiron, it does feel to me that the wounding is very personal TO the US, specifically involving the homeland and/or the people. In Aries, this is going to deal with notions of independence, aggression, self-assurance (or even self-doubt), drive, and other Arian traits. Really, the 4th House can be rather “defensive” and Aries energy can be “offensive” – so this feels something like “the best defense is a good offense.” The US is very consumed with protecting the homeland, so this does seem like it fits. The US ALSO has it’s natal Saturn in Libra in the 10th House loosely opposite natal Chiron, which does make me think we are probably too busy playing world “peacemaker” or “negotiator” to be defensive about our own people (and the care of the people in this country) …..which also seems very apt (or defensive of our people in the “right” ways). The US is also very focused on notions of personal independence, Now, this isn’t a bad thing – there is nothing wrong with personal independence and there is nothing wrong with a country cherishing such a belief. It CAN be a problem, or wounding, for a country when personal independence is put before the welfare of ALL the people who are citizens of the country. This is something I don’t think we’ve ever fully been able to figure out – how to still value personal independence strongly while still being caring and compassionate towards those who, perhaps, personal independence isn’t as easily obtained for a whole myriad of reasons (either in the short or long term). THIS feels like it probably plays into the US’s wounding, this idea that “I have mine so FUCK EVERYONE ELSE” that seems to be very prevalent in American society. Aries energy *can* be selfish, and I do think THIS is wounding to us as a country. ***The US also has natal Chiron loosely square the Sun in the 7th in Cancer (with Leo being on the cusp of the 9th House). This makes me think that this country’s ego is more focused on the concept of the “other” (and in this case, it does feel more “other country” focused). THIS pulls at Chiron – like the more involvement we have with other countries, the less that we are able to heal Chiron’s wounding here at home (or something along those lines). I could probably go more depth, but I’ll stop there for now. We need to knock this shit off, though.
As I mentioned before, the US has seen 4 Chiron Returns in the country’s history, and these happened from 1972 – 1976, 1922-1926, and again in the 1870’s and 1820’s (I haven’t looked at the exact dates or the historical context for the ones that occurred in the 1800’s). There are definitely some historical things that occurred during the last two Chiron Returns that stand out to me (and I like to look at the history here since similar themes can come back around – time is cyclical).
During the time of the last Chiron Return in the 1970s, Watergate was going on which ended with Nixon resigning as president in 1974 (Gerald Ford became president after Nixon resigned). The US pulled out of Vietnam in 1973 with the Vietnam War coming to an end in 1975. BOTH of these things were embarrassments to the United States. I mean, lol, the Nixon thing probably should be embarrassing on it’s own (because, hahahaha, it is). It’s the Vietnam thing that gets me the most. The US didn’t appear to be embarrassed about fighting in a fucking proxy war that we didn’t need to fight in the first place or drafting people to go to war (and having to implement the draft because so many men didn’t want to fight that fucking war – that should say something right there). The US also didn’t seem to be embarrassed about the treatment of the men that fought in that war after they came home (by and large they were not treated well – THAT should be and should’ve been fucking embarrassing). But no….at the time it seems that it was most embarrassing that we were on the “losing side.” There was also a recession from 1973 – 1975 which included BOTH high unemployment and high inflation. Health insurance shit also came into play as well. Before Nixon resigned (and while he was running for re-election in 1972), he campaigned on some different ideas dealing with health care (such as having employers obligated to offer insurance to full time employees, and things of that nature). Some of what he proposed is in place today (though it didn’t happen until after he was out of office – Watergate kind of derailed his plans this way).
During the time of Chiron’s Return in the 1920’s, there was a recession that took place from May 1923 through July 1924, though this one appears to have dealt more with inflation than unemployment. Health and medical stuff came up around this time as well. Hospital and medical expense policies were introduced, and individual hospitals started offering services to individuals on a prepaid basis (I can’t actually nail down an exact date for this). President Harding died in in 1923 of a heart attack and his Vice, President Coolidge, took office). Prohibition was also going on at this time – this was started in 1919 with the Volstead Act and added as the Eighteenth Amendment to the US Constitution in 1920 (later it was repealed with the Twenty-First Amendment). Interestingly enough, Nixon enacted the “War on Drugs” a year or two before 1972 and when our most recent Chiron return started (substances were obviously illegal before this with the passing of the Harrison Act in 1914, but the War on Drugs kind of upped the game). When are we going to learn that prohibiting stuff causes more fucking problems than it solves? We can make shit illegal all day long, but where there is a will there is a way – if someone wants to get a hold of something (and we could be talking about anything here), they will find a way to get a hold of it. In this day and age, we could be talking about anything from firearms to abortion….to fucking anything. If firearms become illegal, the black market will skyrocket for them (people in this country like their guns). If abortion is made illegal, the demand won’t go away – a black market will open up for them, too. It does make me wonder if might see something else get prohibited, and this could be something completely new or something that has already been threatened with prohibition in the past. **Both Prohibition and the War on Drugs should be fucking embarrassing for Americans because neither really tackled any of the root issues that stem from alcohol or other substances.
To sum that up, lol, there do appear to be some common themes: -Recessions and money shit -Health and medical shit -Change in political leadership -“Embarrassing” shit happening
Maybe we will take the opportunity with this Chiron Return to learn something about really defending the American people in a more compassionate and caring way? Not in the military industrial complex way (not that kind of defense if we can help ourselves – we already know about that), but perhaps, putting the American people and our interests first. I definitely think values will come into play (and perhaps even money and other resources) with Pluto’s Return happening along side all of this Chiron stuff (and Pluto’s return happening in the natal 2nd House, and natal Chiron and natal Pluto loosely squaring one another). Interesting times….lol, just interesting fucking times.
STORY TIME! (this story does feel appropriate to share as the transiting nodes move into Virgo & Pisces – bear with me for a second)
On January 1, 2021, when my son was 3 years old he was in an accident involving a tractor. To this day I STILL don’t know ALL of the details of this accident and STILL have more questions than answers (I wasn’t there when it happened but I did go to the hospital with him). Did he fall off the tractor? Was he hit by the tractor? Why the fuck did my ex-husband feel that it was appropriate to have a 3-year-old near (or on) a moving tractor in the first place? Anyone who has a child knows that when your child is hurt ALL you want to be able to do is fix what’s wrong and work to make things better for them (I know that this feeling isn’t limited to a parent and their child). When this accident happened there wasn’t ANYTHING I could do to make it better for my son. I was trying to soothe him, to distract him, to clean him off (all the blood all over his face that wouldn’t stop no matter how much pressure I applied or how often I attempted to clean his face off), trying to keep him awake and talking (there was initial concern of a concussion)….ALL the things, trying to “fix” him and find a “solution” to his injuries. Honestly, I’ve never felt so fucking useless in all of my life; nothing I was doing to try to fix him and make him better was helping a goddamn bit (not that this was about me, it wasn’t, but I do remember feeling SO fucking useless and helpless). As he was sitting in my lap, letting me hold him as we colored a picture, it dawned on me that what he needed in that moment (at that time) was for me to JUST BE with him. There wasn’t any work that I needed to put in to try and fix him or make him better, there wasn’t anything that I could do (so I didn’t need to feel guilty that I couldn’t make him better on my own). On that day in the hospital, what he needed from me was just to be there with him and to exist with him (and for me to surrender to all of this). I felt compelled to share this story because it SO PERFECTLY (hahaha Virgo energy) illustrates the way the transiting nodal axis in Virgo & Pisces (North Node in Pisces & South Node in Virgo) feels (even though when this event occurred the transit North Node was in Gemini and the transit South Node was in Sagittarius). Also because this particular event has come to the forefront of my mind recentlyfor a bunch of reasons.
Every 18 months or so, the transiting Nodal Axis changes signs (they have been along the Aries/Libra Axis since July 2023). This changes on January 11, 2025 when the transiting nodal axis moves into Virgo and Pisces (the South Node moving into Virgo and the North Node moving into Pisces). They will be in these signs until July 27, 2026.
Just a few quick things about the North & South Nodes: -Normal motion for the nodes is retrograde. –This means that 0° Aries is the end (of the nodal axis cycle), and 29° Pisces is the beginning (of the nodal axis cycle). So, quite literally the beginning and the end (or the Alpha & the Omega). -There are two different nodes you can use: the true node and the mean node. The difference between the two is negligible and it really is a personal preference as for which one to use. If you use the true node, they will sometimes be direct. If you use the mean node, they will always be retrograde since the mean node is an average. -The South Node is what is “familiar” or “comfortable” (even if it’s energy really isn’t comfortable at all). The North Node is where a person (or a collective) is wanting to move towards and become familiar. **Want to know more about the Nodal Axis and how to read it in an astrology chart? What follows in this post are the different themes that seem like they could come up over these next 18 months, both on the individual and collective levels. HOW the transiting nodes along the Virgo & Pisces Axis play out for you personally depends on your personal astrology chart (and what the transiting nodes are doing to it). Purpose/Work vs Existing/Just Being Virgo energy is very busy (it is ruled by Mercury, after all). It’s not the Gemini kind of busy (also Mercury ruled). Gemini is busy just to be busy, but Virgo energy is busy with a purpose. Usually that purpose involves being of service, of use, and/or of help. Pisces energy, on the other hand, doesn’t function this way; Pisces energy purely “exists” and knows how to be in a state of “just being.” Sometimes there isn’t anything that one can do, there isn’t anything that can be helped…one just (kind of) has to be able to exist. This one feels like a big deal for this transit, and I think (collectively and/or individually) we will all be called to just “be” and to just “exist” at different times (and to know there isn’t anything wrong with this).
Real vs Unreal During this particular transit there will probably be many times where we all think (collectively and individually) “is what is happening actually real?!” Virgo energy has a down-to-earth presentation and lives in the real/physical world. Pisces energy, on the other hand, is “head in the clouds” and tends to not be (as) realistic (or live in the real world) at all. There are so many things currently going on in the world that have so many people asking “how the hell is this really happening?”….my guess is we are bound to feel even more of this under the course of this transit. **This could manifest itself in a bunch of different ways. The way that we function in real life is probably subject to change (which, through the shift, can cause things to feel “unreal”).
Fixing vs Dissolving Virgo energy is the “fixer” – it wants to fix and make things better (to be helpful, to be of use, etc.). Under the duration of this transit, I think we will all find (collectively and individually) that some things just can’t be fixed. Sometimes the only way to really “fix” something is to let it dissolve…perhaps because it is beyond fixing in the first place. **In terms of the world at large, often times it feels like we are putting band aids on bullet holes (putting band aids on things that just can’t be fucking fixed). In my opinion, there are things that NEED to desperately be allowed to dissolve, and I would bet that you, the reader, can think of some things that need to be allowed to be dissolved, too (both collectively and individually).
Health vs Healing They sound like they could be the same thing, but they really aren’t. You can be “healthy” and not actually be healing yourself (or healed). Virgo energy is concerned with health and healthfulness (especially of the physical body and the mind), but Pisces energy tends to deal with healing (especially that of the mind and soul). A person can live an incredibly healthy lifestyle (eating “right,” exercising, etc.) and be SO unhealed on the inside. The transiting nodes doing their thing over the next 18 months feels like it will be calling us (collectively and/or individually) to ask what “healthy” actually is and if we are actually in a state of healing. **Let’s face it, we are ALL needing to heal from SOMETHING. This world is a rough place.
Guilt/Shame vs Release Virgo energy can tend to feel guilt and shame…and oftentimes I find that this energy can feel guilt and shame for no good reason. In *some* cases there may actually be something for Virgo energy to be guilty about, but it can take that guilt to extremes (which then can spiral into shame). Guilt *can* be a useful emotion for it can help us to do better next time. Shame, on the other hand, never breeds anything helpful or useful. Regardless of why the guilt and/or shame may exist on a collective and/or individual level, there is a need for release of anything along those lines while the transiting North Node is in Pisces. **Release is actually one of the BEST ways that Pisces energy can manifest in my opinion.
Purity vs Mixture This one might sound kind of strange so bear with me. Virgo energy can be concerned with “cleanliness” and “purity” (these, like all other expressions, may not always come through with Virgo energy…but they certainly can). This could come about with a focus on keeping things clean and sanitized, all the way over to a preoccupation with “purity” (and a sort of sanitization on steroids). It seems like we could all be coming from (individually and/or collectively) a focus on cleanliness (this could be how to keep things clean and sanitized, or even where we haven’t been as clean as we me have wanted to be/should be). Pisces energy is not focused on any of these notions – it is much more about “blending” and “mixtures” since this energy is so fluid. There will probably be a push towards embracing “the mixture” (though I’m sure there will be push back from those still focused on the notion of “purity”). **I can see this one going a bunch of different ways. We need to keep in mind that we are ALL mixtures of different things and that’s okay (there is very little that is actually “pure” – people, places, things, and situations).
The Details vs Wholeness Virgo energy is detail oriented and uses a “micro” lens to see the world around it. Pisces energy, on the other hand, uses a “macro” lens to see the world around it and is more oriented towards wholeness. Under the course of the transit nodes in these signs (with the transit North Node in Pisces), we probably WILL individually and/or collectively be called to focus more on the whole of a situation (whatever that situation might be). This is when the details of certain situations (collectively and/or individually) come together to create the whole of something. **An example of this is the last time the transiting nodes were along this axis (with the North Node in Pisces) we saw the housing bubble burst (in 2006) and the Great Recession begin (in 2007). For those who had been paying attention to the details for years before this, they were able to see this coming a mile away (maybe not WHEN exactly this was going to happen, but that the pieces were in on the board for something like this to take place). I bring up this specific example because we have seen issues with housing for years now (people not being able to afford homes, etc.). It does make me wonder if something might come about from January 11, 2025 through July 27, 2026 regarding housing (all those different pieces, or details, already appear to be on the board).
Some other quick considerations: -When looking at the transiting nodes (along with the nodal axis in general), you want to also consider the ruler of the nodes. Mercury, the ruler of the South Node, will change signs (along with turning retrograde) several times throughout these 18 months (too many to name here). The rulers of the North Node in Pisces, Jupiter and Neptune, don’t change signs as often (so their shifts are more significant). –This transit will start out with Jupiter in Gemini (where it is in “detriement”). From June 9, 2025 through June 30, 2026 Jupiter will be in Cancer (where it is exalted). Exaltation isn’t a “good” thing or a “bad” thing – it just EXAGGERATES the planetary energy in question, meaning it will exaggerate the transiting North Node in Pisces. The North Node’s time in Pisces will end with Jupiter in Leo. –This transiting nodal axis in Virgo & Pisces will start out with Neptune in Pisces, but on March 30, 2025 Neptune will make its first pass into Aries. THIS is a major shift which will surely impact HOW this transit plays out.
A client of mine who watched the first YouTube video that I did about this nodal transit left a comment saying that what I was saying in the video made her think of the Serenity Prayer. Because this felt extremely nail on the head for the transiting nodes in Virgo & Pisces, I will leave this here:
“(Father), Give us courage to change what must be altered, serenity to accept what cannot be helped, and the insight to know the one from the other.”
Annual Profections are an astrology technique that I implement when doing my Solar Return and Annual Transits reading that I offer. My course on transits started last week and since this technique gets a class all to itself in the course, this felt like an appropriate time to do this post. Also, I’ve been going through my website over the past few months (fixing SEO stuff and other things), and I noticed there were some SEO problems with the original blog post I wrote on this topic in January 2020. So I’m fixing those issues now and adding in new things not mentioned before. **Also, the algorithm is fucking annoying (I could go off about that bullshit hahahaha but I’ll spare you), and likes “new posts.”
Annual Transits, Annual Profections & Solar Return readings are a service that I offer (and THANK YOU so much to all the clients I have that come back to me year after year to have me do their Solar Return and annual transits chart work for them!). What even are annual profections and the time lord? Essentially, starting from the Ascendant in the natal chart, each house of the chart represents a specific year of life (and depending on how old you are turning on your next birthday will show you what “House Year” or annual profection year you’re about to enter into). Here is a drawing to quickly show you what annual profection year you’re currently in or are about to enter into:
I’ll use myself as an example here to help all this make sense. In November of 2023 I turned 36 and entered a 1st House protection year. This causes things having to do with my sense of self (and other 1st House areas of life) to be very important this year (since the 1st House is the house that deals with the sense of self). My Ascendant and 1st House are in Sagittarius which makes self understanding and belief highlighted (Sagittarius energy expresses itself through “understanding” and through “beliefs”…among other ways). Now, the time lord comes into play 🙂 and the time lord is the planetary ruler of the profection year house you happen to be in. Since I’m in a 1st House year (and I have Sagittarius on the cusp of the 1st House), this makes Jupiter my time lord (since Jupiter is the planetary ruler of Sagittarius). Below is a table of planetary rulership:
Aries is ruled by Mars
Libra is ruled by Venus
Taurus is ruled by Venus
Scorpio is ruled by Mars & Pluto
Gemini is ruled by Mercury
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter
Cancer is ruled by the Moon
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn
Leo is ruled by the Sun
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn & Uranus
Virgo is ruled by Mercury
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter & Neptune
Table of planetary rulership (which is necessary to know what time lord you are dealing with)
Just to throw this out there – I use dual rulership (lol why the fuck not?!). There are astrologers that feel like only using traditional rulership with annual profections and the time lord is what one should do. I think to leave the modern ruler out of this technique is to leave out a dynamic that shouldn’t be left out. On the flip side of that if you only use modern rulership with this technique, the time lord in transit won’t do as much/make as many different aspect with natal planets throughout the year (since modern rulership involves the outer planets that don’t move as quickly). To leave out the traditional rulership feels like a dynamic gets left out that shouldn’t be left out.
After you figure out what planet (or planets) is/are your time lord(s) for the year, the next thing you want to look is WHERE that time lord planet is in your chart. The house that the time lord falls in your chart will bring that house into the equation (meaning that house’s “areas of life” become important that year like the annual protection house). For instance, I have my Jupiter in the 4th House in Aries. So not only are 1st House areas of life (like sense of self, etc.) important this year, but so are 4th House areas of life (like home, family, private spheres of life, etc.). When looking at the time lord for the year you want to consider what the time lord planet is doing in the natal chart. Is it retrograde or direct? Is it out of bounds? What aspects does it make to other planets in the chart (those aspects WILL be highlighted this year)? Things that I would consider along with Jupiter’s sign and house as the time lord would be the fact that it’s retrograde (meaning this year might have a retrograde-y flavor) and the aspects that it makes in the chart (like the trine it makes to my Ascendant and the square it makes to my Moon). All of these things, and other things not mentioned that Jupiter is doing in my chart, will be lit up this year.
There are trends and themes that can occur over and over again when looking at this stuff. For instance, every time that I have been in a 1st House profection year I have moved. This is a theme and a thing that happened when I was 0 (I don’t remember it, but it happened), when I was 12, when I was 24, and now again at 36. Why would moving each of these years make sense? Because my sense of self was impacted in some way by these moves (1st House profection year), and the move gave me a new home base (4th House). **Side note: this one of the reasons that I feel like my chart works best in Placidus, Porphyry or a house system that puts my Jupiter in the 4th House (there are many reasons, but this is one of them). It’s actually through looking for themes and things like this through annual profections and the time lord that might help you to figure out what house system makes sense for you to use.
I encourage you to go through your chart and figure out what annual profection year you are in this year. Then look and see where the time lord (or time lords) are by sign, house, aspects made and planet condition. Once you’ve done that think back to what you remember about the last time you were in that annual profection year and the planetary ruler was your time lord; what themes and things were going on for you then? Are those same kinds of themes and things going on for you now?
How to read annual profections and the time lord in practice (my opinion) – you want to look at what the time lord is doing in transit AND what transit planets are making aspects with the time lord in the natal chart. Planets in transit that make an aspect to the time lord(s) in the natal chart are usually felt strongly for the year that the planet is the time lord. The time lord in transit is also important to take note of, and what aspects it is making with natal planets (these will also be felt strongly). If the time lord in transit turns retrograde, this will probably be felt in an exaggerated way (for better or worse, lol). I take note of planets that happen to transit the annual profection house in a way I might not always notice. For instance, Mars transiting the 7th House (not making any aspect to a natal planet) might not always catch my attention (I have found that a planet just transiting a house without making an aspect to a natal planet may or may not be felt much by the native). However, if the person is in a 7th House profection year and/or if Mars is their time lord for the year, this causes Mars transiting the 7th House to become more important and will definitely catch my attention.
You can even apply this technique to the solar return chart, though modified slightly. I don’t look for the time lord or annual profections in the Solar Return Chart, but I DO look to see what the time lord from the natal chart is doing IN the solar return chart. I will take note of anything going on in the annual profection year from the natal chart in the solar return chart (for instance, since I’m in a 1st House profection year in my natal chart, the 1st House of my solar return chart is something I looked at even more closely). By throwing annual profections and the time lord into the mix with the solar return chart, it add another layer of depth to the reading.
United States Uranus Return disclaimer – This isn’t a piece to fearmonger. Do I think this topic is “concerning”? Absolutely. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t. Do I think it’s something that one should sit around being afraid of and worrying about it? No. Worrying about the future very rarely does anything helpful. Knowledge is power and knowing what energies are coming around the corner via astrology can help one to be prepared for things to come. Being prepared (a productive use of energy) is very different than worrying (a useless expense of energy).
Just to start this off (as a continuation from the last post on Uranus in Gemini) here are the 4 most recent periods of time in history that transit Uranus was in Gemini (over the past 300 or so years) before the 2020’s: -July 10, 1690 through Nov. 4, 1690; April 28, 1691 through July 31, 1697; Dec. 16, 1697 through May 18, 1698 -June 19, 1774 through Dec. 1, 1774; April 8, 1775 through July 12, 1781; Jan. 12, 1782 through April 28, 1782 -June 2, 1858 through Jan. 1, 1859; March 14, 1859 through June 27, 1865; Feb. 17, 1866 through March 27, 1866 -August 7, 1941 through Oct. 5, 1941; May 15, 1942 through August 30, 1948; Nov. 12, 1948 through June 10, 1949
Fast forward to the future: Transit Uranus will move into Gemini on July 7, 2025 for the first time. -It will slip back into Taurus on November 8, 2025 through April 26, 2026 -Enters Gemini on April 26, 2026 where it will stay until August 3, 2032 (it will enter Cancer for the first time on August 3, 2032) -Slips back into Gemini from December 12, 2032 through May 22, 2033 (that’s when it will stay in Cancer for however many years).
United States Uranus Return will be going on from July 5, 2026 through May 28, 2029 (with a 5-degree orb applying and separating between transit Uranus and natal Uranus); Transit Uranus will be exactly conjunct the US’s Uranus on July 26, 2027, November 5, 2027 and May 11, 2028

What is the Uranus Return Anyway? Okay, so Uranus Returns happen every 84 years (roughly), and it’s when transit Uranus moves back to the same degree, minute and seconds as Uranus in a natal chart. For instance, the US has it’s natal Uranus at 8-degrees 55-minutes of Gemini, meaning the Uranus Return takes place in the US when transit Uranus “comes home” to 8-degrees 55-minutes of Gemini (this idea is how ALL planetary returns work). Uranus Returns will bring Uranian themes to the forefront, themes such as liberation, chaos, trauma, change…among many other Uranus notions. How this comes about depends on the sign and house natal Uranus falls in the chart, along with aspects that natal Uranus makes to other planets, angles, etc. Since these transits happen every 84 years not everyone will get to experience a Uranus Return (not everyone lives to be 84 years old); same thing could be said about countries as well (since not every country will make it to 84 years, either). It’s also a time when Uranus in the natal chart (or the chart of a country) has to be “dealt” with should there be anything that needs to be dealt with in this regard.
Any time that Uranus has been in Gemini the United States has been at war (and even before the US was a country, there was some shit happening on what would become American soil). Someone on YouTube commented “when hasn’t the US been at war?” on the video I did about transit Uranus in Gemini and the US’ Uranus Return in 2021. I definitely laughed at the comment because they would be right. For years and years now, the US has been involved in some kind of (bullshit) conflict (more often than not the kind of conflict that we didn’t/don’t need to be involved in the first place). However, the kind of “war” that I’m talking about (and was talking about in the video in 2021) aren’t the kinds of wars that are fought on behalf of another country, wars that are fought instead of fighting a country we actually want to fight (a proxy war), etc. The last time that Uranus was in Gemini, the United States was embroiled in World War II. The Uranus Return before the one in the 1940’s was during the American Civil War in the 1860s. The time before that one (in the late 1770’s through early-1780s) was during the American Revolution (when the United States became a country….so this really wasn’t a Uranus Return, but more like when Uranus was set in the US natal chart). -Side Note: The United States wasn’t a country in the 1690’s, but Uranus was in Gemini during this period…and this is when the Witch Trials were happening on what would become American Soil (not a “war” in the traditional sense, but the times still pitted neighbor against neighbor).
Beyond transit Uranus being in Gemini, the two wars going on during the previous two Uranian Returns ALSO came in hot the heels of some transit Pluto fuckery to the United States’ natal Pluto. For instance: -The Civil War (during the 1st United States Uranus Return) started shortly after transit Pluto in Aries was square the United States’ natal Pluto -World War II (during the 2nd United States Uranus Return) started shortly after transit Pluto in Cancer was opposite the United States’ natal Pluto –We just finished Pluto’s Return here in the US, meaning this upcoming Uranus Return that will start in 2026 also comes in hot on the heels of some transit Pluto fuckery, too.
There really does seem to be a (major) war equation for the United States: Transit Pluto making a challenging contact with the US’ natal Pluto first….and then transit Uranus entering Gemini. (I lololol’d at “entering”…I’m immature sometimes 🤣)
**As a side note, I think a reason that the cold war between the US and the USSR didn’t turn hot in the 1980s was because Uranus wasn’t about to enter Gemini. At the time, transit Pluto in Libra was making a square with the United States’ natal Pluto (from 1980 through 1985) meaning the Pluto part of the war equation was there. But alas! Transit Uranus was in Scorpio and Sagittarius…far the fuck away from Gemini. **As another side note, I think a major reason that World War I wasn’t a longer war for the United States (we were only directly involved from April 1917 through November 1918) was because transit Uranus wasn’t in Gemini and because there wasn’t some transit Pluto fuckery going on before the war started.
Why does Uranus’ Return (and transit Uranus in Gemini in general) seem to trigger the United States going to war? I have some theories about that. The chart below is the natal chart of the United States (also called the Sibly Chart):
United States Uranus Return – Chart for the first time transit Uranus “comes home” to the placement of the United States’ natal Uranus (July 26, 2027); US natal chart inside the wheel and the transits are in green outside the wheel.
Uranus is in the 6th House of the US’ natal chart, but it’s very close to the Descendant in the chart. The Descendant is where the chart “sets,” meaning it’s a shadowy place. I’m not talking about the Jungian Shadow when I say shadowy; in this case, I’m thinking about when the Sun sets in the sky there are literal shadows on the ground. We don’t always pay attention to these shadows (we might even ignore, dismiss, or forget about them completely), but we are aware that they are there (it’s not surprising to us, generally speaking, when we do happen to catch a glimpse of our own shadow). THIS is one of the major things the Descendant represents. Another thing the Descendant can represent is energy that we attract to us whether we like this energy or not. Because of the conjunction between natal Uranus and the Descendant, I do get the feeling that the things that Uranus wants to express might end up getting ignored, dismissed, or “forgotten” by the United States. I also think it’s possible that because we might ignore, dismiss, or “forget” about this expression, our country might attract this energy right back.
What does Uranus want to express? We’re talking about notions like liberation, chaos, detachment, trauma, shocking change, groups/community, freedom…. among other things. Because this is going on in Gemini these Uranian notions will be expressed through the lens of Gemini energy; this energy can be communicative, perception, intelligent, scattered & all over the place, manipulative, excitable, flexible…among other ways of expression. ALL of the above might get ignored by the United States due to Uranus conjunct the Descendant.
Things that (I think) we as a country need to watch out for during Uranus’ Return from 2026 through 2029 (and even right now before this transit begins)
1. We tend to ignore, dismiss, and/or forget our own perception of chaos and how chaotic we are as a country…until we can’t ignore it anymore and we come face to face with countries that are as chaotic (or more chaotic) than we are. This particular thing seems incredibly apt for the times that we find ourselves in this country right now (really, this has been the case for YEARS at this point, and I don’t see that slowing down any before our Uranus Return takes place). While I think the average person does see this chaos for the most part (and has seen it for a long time), we are so used to the chaos that we might even see such as “normal” (or it might be tempting to do that). Nothing about this shit is normal, has ever been normal or will never be normal.
2. The US tends to cause a bunch of chaos other places under the guise of “freedom,” “humanitarianism,” and “liberation.” Maybe, in some cases, we really do have good intentions with the above, but we don’t seem to stick the landing correctly most of the time. Like, we will go in and “liberate” a country, but we don’t follow through very well (by not having a plan in place we leave a fucking power vacuum, OR we stay in that country for WAY too long after the “liberation” has taken place, etc.). Lol at the poor follow through; Gemini energy is usually too scattered to stick around for something like “follow through” and Uranus is way too fast moving and “shocking change” to do much follow through, either. I don’t think we always SEE the issue with any of this. –We need to remember that we can be humanitarian (Uranus) in a local/regional (Gemini) sense as well. I do think that we “forget” this as a country (probably due to Uranus in the US’ chart conjunct the Descendant). We can certainly help other countries and places that aren’t local (and we should when it’s needed and wanted by these other countries and places…and when we can give it), but we can’t forget to do this locally as well. As willing as we are to help other countries and places, we also have to be as willing to step back and NOT play Team America: World Police (and World Humanitarian) when the help isn’t able to be given (when we’ve spread ourselves too thin) or when the help isn’t wanted by the other place and/or country in the first place.
3. I don’t think we see how much chaos, trauma, and fragmentation our own media and communication(s) causes this country (media would definitely fall under the Gemini umbrella since it’s, essentially, communications). Lol yeah, I’m going there, I don’t give a fuck 🤣. When I say “media,” I’m not just talking about mainstream (news) media, but also ALL the chaos, trauma and fragmentation/division that is ripe all-over social media and all other media platforms. This could also tie into the chaotic, traumatic and/or fragmented way that we as a country communicate with one another in general (and think about/perceive different parts of the country). ALL forms of media in this country are a fucking problem (really THIS is a problem everywhere probably 🤣 but it is a major problem in the US). Anyone that can’t see that THIS has played a major role in keeping this country fragmented off by stoking the fucking flames hasn’t been paying attention. I also think we are more vulnerable as a country than we might realize to outside/ “alien” (Uranus) media/communication(s) (Gemini) influence(s). Now, when I say the above, I’m certainly not suggesting that people in the US shouldn’t engage in social media/other forms of media, read/watch the news, etc. I’m also not for censorship and/or banning platforms and (other forms of) media/communications (even stuff I might not like, might not agree with, think is stupid, etc.). It just seems important to be aware of different forms of media that might do NOTHING but cause trauma, chaos, and fragmentation and how this might happen/how they might do this.
4. The Hive Mind is a massive problem in this country; it’s been a problem for a while now and has only gotten worse over the past 10 years (and it only feels like it will get worse as transit Uranus moves into Gemini). Uranus can represent “groups” of people/community, and Gemini energy is expressed through the mind (hence the “hive mind” having a very low-vibrational Uranus in Gemini flavor). This feels even further amplified with the Aquarius on the cusp of the 3rd House flowing into Uranus in Gemini in the 6th House conjunct the Descendant in the US’s astrology chart; it’s like a double dose of this energy, though with the Moon IN Aquarius in the 3rd House of the US’ chart it feels even more personal to the US (like, this country is emotionally connected to the Hive Mind). **I want to point something out about lower vibrational Uranus (and Aquarian) energy that drives me crazy but it IS a thing that needs to be discussed: the group thing. Groups definitely have their purpose and it’s a wonderful feeling to “belong” to a group, to a cause, etc. However, one of the MAJOR shadows of Aquarian energy is the notion of belonging to a group and not being able to see anything outside of that group (not being able to see any other perspective besides the groups perspective). While Uranus (and Aquarius energy) at its highest vibration is inclusive of EVERYONE, Uranus (and Aquarius) at a lower vibration is only inclusive of those “different” like they are or those that share the same point of view that they do (and if you don’t share the same point of views across the board with the group…you’re out). There is a way to strike a balance here – align with your group(s), cause(s), etc. but still be inclusive (or at least respectful) to everyone else. —If I get any comments along the lines of “No, I won’t do that. They (the other side/group/etc.) don’t listen to me, they are the problem, etc…”..then I hate to break it to you but YOU’RE a part of the fucking problem, too. It would do you good to remove your head from your ass for a while and go touch grass. We all have to lead by example, and bring out into the world (show the world) the kind of respect that we as people wanton an individual level. If we keep living in the same cycle of us v them, nothing will EVER change.
5. Uranus is in Gemini in the 6th House of the United States’ chart, which makes my mind go towards something like fragmentation and change (and even trauma) in mundane daily life within our neighborhoods/regions/areas that are local to us. I do think that in some way, somehow, we will see change to the way that we function in and perceive daily life (and really, since we’re talking about Gemini and it’s affinity for “multiples,” we could be talking about this change coming about in multiple ways). Change in daily life was absolutely the case during the two previous Uranian Returns; in World War II we saw many changes in daily life with the US, one of the biggest being women entering the workforce (and even the professional sporting world) in ways they hadn’t before (and many stayed in the workforce after Uranus moved into Cancer). During the Civil War, we saw literal changes to daily life/the mundane in terms of regions and localities (with different states breaking away from the Union one by one). We were also dealing with different transits beyond JUST transit Uranus in Gemini during these two wars (and transit Pluto fuckery to the US’ natal Pluto right before it), so the changes (and even fragmentation/trauma) to daily life/routines/etc. might look different during THIS Uranus Return that’s coming up than they did in these previous eras….but I do suspect changes will take place.
Some of these themes came into play during the US’ previous Uranian Returns. There was definitely a hive mind thing going on during the American Civil War (or some version of the Hive Mind going on, an “us v them” thing going on between the North and South), and it was also a war that saw fragmentation of neighbor relations/fragmentation of “brotherhood” (this was literal neighbor fighting neighbor, and also neighboring states fighting one another; the fragmentation/disassociation of brotherhood). Was it a bad thing that the Civil War happened? Not at all. At the time it was going on, it was ugly. War is always an ugly thing, but there is an added layer of trauma (Uranus) to war when it’s neighbors fighting neighbors, brothers fighting brothers, etc. People were (more) liberated because of this war though, so it was a good thing (liberation also being a Uranian notion). Surprise! (which is a Uranian expression) was a thing during World War II with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. There were also trauma and fragmentations surrounding notions of brotherhood; while this war didn’t involve brother’s fighting brothers/neighbors fighting neighbors (like the Civil War did), we did see families that lost several male family members (and in some cases, parents/families lost some or ALL of their sons to the war, meaning some brothers lost all of their brothers (literal or figurative) to the war).
Another theme that seems to be in play (from a historical lens) is the notion of depressions and recessions in the United States during the period of time that transit Uranus is in Taurus (transit Uranus is in Taurus right now as I’m writing this in 2024), and coming OUT of those depressions/recessions once transit Uranus enters Gemini. I won’t bore you with too much history (lol I know not everyone is as much of a history slut as I am 🤣), but the recessions I’m talking about are below: -Panic of 1857 took place when transit Uranus was in Taurus (and when transit Pluto was square the US’ natal Pluto). Essentially, something like 5000 businesses in the US failed which caused a recession (and this recession was also one of the catalysts for the Civil War). -Recession of 1937 through 1938 took place with Uranus was in Taurus (and when transit Pluto was opposite the US’ natal Pluto) and was actually really bad. If the Great Depression of 1929 through 1933 hadn’t been even worse (kind of eclipsing the recession of 1937), the one in 1937 would be referenced way more than it isbecause it was really bad, too. —We recently had a recession in 2020 during the first few months of the covid era while transit Uranus was in Taurus. This is feeling like it’s following suit with the previous events mentioned.
It’s no secret that wars (and war-mongering) are big business and money makers (not just for the United States, but in general), and transit Uranus in Gemini DOES seem to tie in with the United States being involved in some kind of major war (again, from a historical lens). Both Gemini energy (ruled by Mercury) and Mercury, have an affinity for the exchange of currency. The currency thing is interesting in this context because both of the previous times of transit Uranus in Gemini there were things that happened to the currency in the United States: -Greenbacks were issued during the American Civil War which were NOT backed by Gold and Silver (previously all US currency used gold and silver coins; paper currency was only handed out by banks that were privately owned). -Bretton Woods Agreement of 1944 (during World War II) was a system in place that, essentially, the currency of all “western” countries at the time were valued in alignment with the US dollar. The IMF (International Monetary Fund) was also established during this same period. There is much more to this, (and much more that I could say about this 🤣) but the above is the quick and dirty version to illustrate my point. ALL of the above from a historical standpoint makes me super curious about what might play out this time as transit Uranus moves into Gemini for the first time in 2025. My knee jerk inclination is to think that it will be both local/regional to the country AND worldwide. –Also want to make mention that with the US’ natal Pluto in the 2nd House in Capricorn, it makes sense that some kind of transit Pluto fuckery to the US’ natal Pluto would involve money and resource issues (2nd House) that are restrictive or limited (Capricorn) in some way.
Don’t even get me started on the technology angle of Uranus in Gemini for the United States (which feels further amplified since transit Pluto will be firmly in Aquarius by this time). During the previous two Uranus Returns we saw multiple technological advancements in the United States, such as the transcontinental railroad in the 1860s (during the 1st US Uranus Return) and the creation of the atom bomb (during the 2nd US Uranus Return). Suffice to say, I think this 3rd United States Uranus Return will yield similar kinds of life changing technology. My mind goes to Artificial Intelligence most of all, but I think there will be multiple technological advancements beyond just AI.
There are higher vibrational ways that citizens of the US (and all over the world) can work with transit Uranus during it’s time in Gemini. This starts at the level of the individual first; we individually have to start this by example. Some ways that come to mind first are:
1. Revolution and Freedom (Uranus) of the Mind, Communication, and Sharing (Gemini). This can only happen if we are willing to see/entertain more than one perspective on things (which, luckily, Gemini energy is so “multiple” in nature that this IS possible). I also want to make mention that just because you are willing to entertain another perspective doesn’t mean that you have to agree with that perspective. It’s actually a sign of intelligence to be able to do this, and also luckily, both Uranus and Gemini are intelligent which gives me hope (and hopefully all the emotions can be left at the fucking door). Different (Uranus) ways of communication/communicating in general (Gemini) also seems possible as well (this could be the methods that we use to communicate, it could be the way that we communicate with one another in general…I just hope this skews itself in a “positive” direction). -I also think the hive mind probably has to get worse before the above can happen. Enough people have to be like “enough is enough!” and break away from this notion of the hive mind (and this has to be done in a non-polarizing way), or have to be “alienated” by the hive mind themselves. Sometimes when people go against the hive mind it ends up being polarizing, which causes it not to have the effect that is desired. The point of going against the hive mind needs to have the purpose of bringing people together under the banner of universal brotherhood no matter what one thinks/what our differences are.
2. Rebellion and Liberation (Uranus) from Manipulation and Lies (Gemini). Uranus is the great liberator (one of the highest vibrational ways that this energy can come about), which makes me think that we CAN do this in the United States (and really, across the world), we just have to be willing to question things differently than we have before and use our own intelligence (individually) to do so.
3. Trauma/fragmentation (Uranus) of the Two-Party System (since Gemini is the twins, the two party thing feels like it could fit here). Even liberation FROM the two-party system could fit here. Now, this one is probably a pipe dream, but damnit I really hope that we in this country are able to see that multiple (Gemini as well) options exist…not just two. I *really* hope collectively we are able to see that we’d be better off with NO political parties period (rather than voting for the party, voting for person kind of thing), but I don’t think that will happen anytime soon. We just need to ask ourselves, really ask ourselves, does ANYTHING ever change in this country? Not really? Does it all feel like different sides of the same coin more often than not? Yeah, that’s what I thought. –The way things are going in 2024 as I write this post, it feels like radicalization (Uranus) of the Two-Party System (Gemini) is more likely to happen once transit Uranus moves into Gemini (and I really hope I’m fucking wrong about that).
4. Thinking (Gemini) about the Future (Uranus). This is something that we should ALL start doing NOW, but we definitely need to do this once Uranus moves into Gemini. What do we all want the future to look like? Not only for ourselves, but for the generations that will inherit what we leave them (and do we leave them something to feel hopeful about or do we leave them a chaotic mess). I know a lot of people in my generation (Millennials) feel like we have been buttfucked 10 ways from Sunday with the mess that we have inherited (and are currently inheriting). I don’t want my son’s generation to feel that way – I want something better for those who come after me.
There will be more to come about this same subject because not only am I an astrologer but also a history dork (as I think this post kind of illustrates 😂). And….from a historical lens/previous transit lens, I feel like the United States Uranus Return this time around might echo things from BOTH the American Civil War and World War II (not solely one or the other), though I don’t think it’s going to LOOK like how we might imagine that this might look. Definitely more to dive into, that’s for sure.
Transit Uranus in Gemini Disclaimer – This isn’t a piece intended to fearmonger. Do I think this topic is “concerning”? Absolutely. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t. Do I think it’s something that one should sit around being afraid of and worrying about it? No. Worrying about the future very rarely does anything helpful. Knowledge is power and knowing what energies are coming around the corner via astrology can help one to be prepared for things to come. Being prepared (a productive use of energy) is very different than worrying (a useless expense of energy).
We need to talk about something that has been on my radar for several years at this point (lol here is a video I did about this subject in the fall of 2021), and that something is Uranus moving into Gemini (here is a link to the recent video on YT I did about this same thing). This has been on my radar not only because the US is about to have its Uranus Return (which, lol, historically signals some kind of shit), but also because the world in general feels like it’s gone off the rails and devolved into chaos just a little bit (which makes me wonder what stuff will look like once Uranus actually moves into Gemini). Here in the US everyone has been so focused on Pluto’s Return that Uranus’ Return seemed to be completely overlooked by most until recently. In my opinion Uranus’ Return is the bigger deal (and really, the bigger problem) than Pluto’s Return was ever going to be. That was my opinion in 2021 and that opinion still stands today. This particular post isn’t going to go into the US’ Uranus Return too much (that will be saved for a different post hahaha), but I did need to make mention of it since it IS a reason Uranus moving into Gemini has been on my radar so much and for so long in the first place.

These different keywords for Uranus and Gemini need to be mentioned because there are SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS that this transit could go from 2025 through 2032 (and how this will impact you personally, dear reader, will depend on what this transit is doing to your own astrology chart). Really, there are even MORE keywords that could be thrown in here; this is NOT a complete list hahaha. There is a “light” and a “shadow” to all the different sign and planet energies, meaning on a collective level (and even a personal one) we have the ability to work with the higher vibration of the planet/sign energy, or we can work with the lower vibration of the energy. Some possible ways that Uranus in Gemini could play out:
-Thought/Thinking (Gemini) Revolution (Uranus) -Change (Uranus) of Perception (Gemini) -Liberation (Uranus) of the Mind (Gemini) -Alienation/or Chaos (Uranus) at a Local Level (Gemini) -Chaotic (Uranus) Communication/s (Gemini) -Abandonment (Uranus) of Flexibility/Adaptability (Gemini)
**I’m only considering the transit in question and not bringing any of the other transits that will be going on at the same time into play (which will color how transit Uranus in Gemini pans out for everyone everywhere). The above are just some ideas bringing the keywords together, but I think you all get the idea.
We are already seeing the waves of some of the above across the world. These themes (along with other Uranus in Gemini notions) will only get stronger (and probably come to a head) once Uranus moves into Gemini. The idea of alienation and chaos (Uranus) at the local level (Gemini) is one of those ideas that definitely stand out to me. There is a lot of chaos at the local level around the world with different countries/areas that are neighbors (neighbors and neighborhoods are Gemini expressions as well) fighting one another over land, ideology, etc. I know there are MANY more dynamics that go into the fighting that we’ve seen in the past few years but to keep things “simple” here (and so I don’t go off on a tangent hahaha) I think you all get the idea. All of this regional fighting might only get worse as Uranus gets closer to Gemini and once Uranus enters Gemini. Now, how could this become worse? It’s always possible that the regional conflicts already going on in 2024 (as I’m writing this) get worse. It’s also possible that instead of these conflicts getting worse, the world just sees MORE regional conflicts break out (I’m side-eying y’all, China and Taiwan, among a few other regions). And of course, it could be a little from column A & column B. I really, really hope that I’m wrong about all of the above. –This same idea could tie into the feeling of chaos (Uranus) scattered (Gemini) around. If there are a bunch of regional conflicts that break out (with regional wars going on all over the world or something like that), that would definitely be literal chaos scattered around. The same idea could also translate over to humanitarian aid/social issue stuff (Uranus) that’s scattered (Gemini) as well. This could easily be the case if, say, different countries/areas are providing aid to multiple locations across the world because of multiple regional conflicts breaking out/multiple regions striving for liberation. —I also want to mention that while Uranus in Gemini could look like (and be) chaos at the local/regional level (or chaos scattered around), it could also translate towards revolution, rebellion, liberation, etc. (Uranus) at the local/regional level (Gemini). This is necessary in a whole bunch of places across the world.
Abandonment/Detachment (Uranus) of Flexibility/Adaptability (Gemini) also seems like something we might see more of once Uranus enters Gemini. As of writing this post it’s July 2024 and transit Uranus is still in Taurus (and Taurus energy is not known for its flexibility) which could color how I’m seeing transit Uranus in Gemini down the line. I don’t know though, people don’t seem to be as flexible/adaptable as they once were (especially in terms of thinking, how they think). Things anymore just seem very black and white, which is a problem when we live in a very grey world that calls for adaptability and flexibility. Though, again, I don’t know if it’s so much that an individual person can’t see the grey areas, or if it’s PEOPLE together that can’t see the grey (“a person is smart but people are stupid” kind of thing). Really, I know that a person as an individual has the ability to adapt and be flexible (hasn’t detached from this ability), but get a bunch of people together and that flexibility and adaptability seems to get detached from within the echo-chamber. –The more I think about this. (thought about it overnight), people (especially groups of people) have ALWAYS been this way 🤣 it’s not a 21st century invention.
That brings me to my next thought about transit Uranus in Gemini: the notion of the hive mind getting stronger (groups/the “hive” being a Uranian thing, and Gemini energy expressing the mind). Here in the US this particular thing is a big problem (especially within US politics and it feels extra hot this year with the election in November)…but it also seems to be a problem across the world. I only see this getting worse everywhere once Uranus enters Gemini. EVERYONE needs to watch this very thing; it’s easy to want to stay within your own “group” or “echo-chamber,” to only want to communicate with these people because they think like you think, etc. There is nothing wrong with feeling like you belong to a cause, to a group, etc. that aligns with you. There is a problem with ONLY communicating, thinking, etc. with those people, and I think across the world (but definitely in the US) we are seeing something like this play out. Social media and the media in general stoke these flames which doesn’t help (fragmentation through media of all kinds feels very Uranus in Gemini as well). **As individuated as Uranus (and Aquarius) strive(s) to be, sometimes this energy has difficulty achieving such because of the tie to groups, community, humanity, etc. The sweet spot for this energy is finding individuation through the group/being an individual IN the group/community (or by way of NOT feeling part of a group which can happen, too), not BECAUSE of the group or NEEDING a group/cause/community to feel like an individual. Gemini energy (the twins) also isn’t the most naturally individuated, either. It’s for this reason that I feel like transit Uranus in Gemini could cause the world to dive more into the waters of the “hive mind” or “group-think” than individuation of thought. I really hope I’m wrong about that though, and that, instead, liberation of the mind/of thought is exactly what happens when this transit comes about. Being able to be a part of a group/community/cause/etc. but being able to maintain one’s own perspective independent from the group in general (and especially when necessary).
One way that I hope transit Uranus in Gemini works itself out is at least some detachment (Uranus) from information (Gemini). Let me explain what I mean. We are inundated with a constant stream of information thrown at us via the news, social media, etc. It’s ALL on demand (whether we want it “on demand” or not). We have the choice to consume everything or anything thrown at us, and often times we choose to consume. I’m hoping that over the course of this transit we all collectively decide to detach some from all the information thrown at us 24-hours a day/ 7 days a week/ 365 days a year. This doesn’t mean that we completely detach from information (that would be stupid lol), but I think we all know people (or are this kind of person ourselves) that is constantly reading the news only to fuel what could (jokingly) be called an anxiety kink, constantly scrolling social media without a purpose, etc. The “without a purpose” part isn’t good in this case because Gemini energy can be rather “scattered” and “unfocused” anyway (meaning it might be more tempting to use the internet/technology (Uranus) in an unfocused or scattered way (Gemini), or even in an anxiety producing way, under transit Uranus in Gemini). –Some of y’all aren’t going to like this part, but I encourage you to think about this (and if this doesn’t apply to you, then just disregard this part): If the news/media/social media you consume is making you nervous, anxious, worried, etc. and what you’re consuming deals with stuff that doesn’t directly impact you in some way (you don’t live near the area that is being addressed, you don’t have family or friends there, etc.) and/or there isn’t anything you can personally do to help the situation/it’s out of your hands….I might consider detaching from the information a little bit and not consuming as much of it. This doesn’t mean that you completely detach from this information shared (again, that would be stupid – it is important to know what’s going on in the world at large). If, though, it is impacting your own personal mental health to stay so immersed in what is being shared, detaching a little bit isn’t a bad way to use transit Uranus in Gemini energy once this transit begins.
Another way that I hope transit Uranus in Gemini comes about (and kind of ties into the paragraph above the last one, but deserved a short paragraph of its own) is detachment/liberation (Uranus) from ALL the lies/manipulation (Gemini). Look, let’s get real: a whole lot of stuff online (and in the world) is fake as fuck. Whether it’s some “influencer” 😂 (what a stupid word) on social media curating some image of perfection (spoiler – it’s not perfect in real life 🤣), to bots everywhere on the internet leaving bullshit comments, to a whole bunch of other things, I’m hoping that we can all collectively see when and where we’re being lied to and manipulated, and detach/liberate ourselves from such. Luckily change (Uranus) of perception & thought (Gemini) is something that could come into play under this transit, which I think could help with the detachment/liberation from lies/manipulation (crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes for this to happen). Change of perception/thought could absolutely be helpful alongside everything that I’ve already mentioned in all of the previous paragraphs. –This same notion above ties into AI as well (really, Uranus in Gemini AND Pluto in Aquarius BOTH have ties to AI, and there will be an even greater rise in it once both Uranus and Pluto move into those signs). Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about AI. I mean, I can definitely see the merit in it, and the usefulness of it – there IS a lot of good that can come from the technology (and some of it is just flat-out cool to play with). At the same time, though, I do see the potential for it to cause problems (perhaps major problems in multiple ways). Because I’m still not sure HOW I feel about it in totality, I’ll end this segment here. Just wanted to make mention that AI is very Uranus in Gemini as well. **I feel like this is a good place to mention that if you get a reading from me, it is 100% from me (a human) and not from AI or a computer program or anything like that. Whether you get a reading via zoom, in a report, etc., what I read for you only comes from my mind, knowledge from what I’ve learned over many years, and from your chart (or the chart I’m looking at for you).
The future (Uranus) as something that is nervously/anxiously anticipated (Gemini) 🤣 and knowing the future can go multiple different ways (also Gemini). Notions of things like the future might be more up in the air once transit Uranus moves into Gemini. Really, I think we’re already there, but I’d imagine it will feel even more so once the transit begins. It seems important that everyone really think about what kind of future they want to see play out (this is very Uranus in Gemini as well). Obviously start on this now but definitely continue it once transit Uranus moves into Gemini. This, thinking about what you want the future to look like (and then trying to live your life that way as much as possible) seems like a better use of energy than worrying about the future (which, lol, doesn’t really do much).

Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on October 28, 2023 at 3:23 pm central time (Transit Sun at 5-degrees Scorpio/Transit Moon at 5-degrees Taurus with the Lunar Nodes at 24-degrees Libra and Aries)
**Why am I doing a blog post on this? Because I wrote WAAAAAY too much about this for an Instagram post 😂 and wanted to put it somewhere. So here we are. **
I have woken up in the morning with the song “Come Undone” by Duran Duran in my head multiple times over the past 6 months (since the eclipse in early May 2023). This song has come through even more often over the past week or so….and I know it ties in with this last eclipse along the Taurus/Scorpio Axis (the first eclipse along this axis took place on November 19, 2021). There is such a feeling of coming undone with this eclipse (and really, this whole eclipse series). This isn’t meant in a scary or ominous way. In fact, sometimes we must come undone in order to come (back) together. Sometimes things have to come undone so “better” things can take their place.
-Purge and Release have been major themes under this whole eclipse series. Transformation has been another theme. The point of these things is to bring you greater stability, security, and comfort. Is it “comfortable” as you’re going through (and have been going through) the process? Probably not. Does it mean you’ve, maybe, been in the process of coming undone or undoing things in your life? Probably so.
“Can’t ever keep from falling apart at the seams. Cannot believe you’re taking my heart to pieces.”
This eclipse is the last thrust towards releasing and purging what needs to be released or purged in your life. This will look a little different for everyone (it really depends on what the eclipse is doing to your personal natal chart). This could translate to the complete purge and release of a person, place, thing, etc. It could also be a purge and release situation where you’re not completely getting the person, place, thing, etc. out of your life…but rather transforming this into something else (purging what was to usher in something new…and this IS a partial eclipse after all). Scorpio energy (where the transit Sun is) deals heavily with purge and release on an evolutionary level. Scorpio energy can also hold on to things for dear life…even though this energy KNOWS how sweet purging and releasing can be (whether that be a complete release or a transformation). Since this is eclipse is a hybrid one with the Transit South Node in Libra and the transit North Node in Aries, concepts of the self v. relationships probably DO factor into this (at least for a large percentage of people). **The Transit Sun is also conjunct the Shapley Attractor which gives this purge and release (or transformation!) all the more power. On the flip side of that, should you decide to hold on to something instead, holding on will be even more powerful. Transit Pluto is squaring the nodal axis, giving this an even greater evolutionary flavor, and an even greater push towards transformation and release. To ignore this makes the whole thing feel more difficult. **The transit Moon is conjunct the Dipole Repeller. This could feel a little like falling into the void. It might not be a bad thing, though (and if it doesn’t feel great, it will pass).
With the transit Moon in Taurus and the transit North Node in Aries, these are the types of questions to ask yourself under this lunation:
– “Does holding on (to something) bring me security and stability? Or does it take my ‘heart to pieces’?” – “How have I been giving my power away?” or on the flip side of that “How have I been trying to exert power and control over something else to my detriment?” – “Are my relationships evolving or are they staying exactly the same as they have always been?”
The transit North Node is loosely conjunct transit Chiron, which does add an element of pain to all of this. At the same time, though, it can also add an element of healing. The healing comes when your own independence, drive, instincts, and self aren’t forsaken. Transit Chiron is also quincunx Venus in Virgo (Venus is the ruler of the South Node AND the Moon in Taurus), meaning they are not seeing or feeling one another clearly. Venus in Virgo values notions like helpfulness; don’t forget about helping yourself, too, here. Also, try to wash for being a glutton for punishment. Virgo energy can tend to be and feel guilty and shameful for things that it has no reason to feel guilty and shameful for (or it feels this in disproportionate levels for what the situation calls). Being a “glutton for punishment” say, by way of holding on to things and people that need to be released (or just holding on to the way that things ARE rather than leaning into the transformation necessary) isn’t the way to go here. THIS ends up being where the pain of Chiron comes into play if this being a glutton for punishment (or something like it) isn’t seen.
The South Node is quincunx Neptune Rx in Pisces. Neptune Rx wants to break through the illusions and “clouding” that Neptune tends to deal in. Since it’s quincunx the South Node, and the South Node is where we are more “comfortable” or what we are more “familiar” with, it might be even harder to break through here. Not impossible, just more difficult. Make sure you’re seeing things as clearly as possible, especially regarding anything that you might be trying to release, purge, and/or transform.
Saturn Rx in Pisces trine the Sun and South Node while also sextile the Moon and North Node stands out as well. Saturn in Pisces can point towards structures (Saturn) dissolving or coming undone (Pisces). This “coming undone” naturally wants to happen, but we can’t get lazy with it (trines can be lazy sometimes since things come so “easy”). If things feel like they are coming undone….keep consciously going with it (the sextile from Saturn to the North Node and the Moon wants this).

Myself, circa 2001 when Pluto in transit was conjunct my Ascendant
I haven’t seen her in fucking years. I think some of her is getting flipped back “on” now, because of solar arc Pluto (just through the lens of a 34 year old rather than a 13 year old).
I have wanted to do a blog post about this for a while, and each time I start it, I stop myself. Do I really want to expose ALL of what I’m about to expose? Probably not (and I might take this down as fast as I post it, lol). However, since I’m in the throes of Solar Arc Pluto conjunct my Ascendant currently, it feels like the “right” time to further work through a bunch of shit that happened to me 20 years ago when Transit Pluto was conjunct my Ascendant, and how there are echoes of this part of my life in the present day. This isn’t strictly an exercise for my own benefit, though – I’m hoping that other people will benefit from this post in some way, and in seeing the trends and themes that can come back around through an astrological lens. I really hope that this blog post encourages you to go through your own life cycles via transits and solar arcs. There is a lot to be learned from these. **I actually do this kind of work for my clients, too – making sense of cycles that they go through via an astrological lens (and even making sense, from an astrological lens, of the things they’ve gone through and the things that they carry). If you should ever need any help with this, dear reader, I’m your girl ^_^and you can have me do that for you here.
First, some technical terms before I start this exposition expedition: Astrological Transits: The actual motion and placement of the planets in the sky at any given time. How transits impact each individual person depends on what the planets in transit are activating (or making contact with) in a person’s natal chart. Solar Arcs: An astrological predictive technique which, essentially, moves each planet 1-degree a year ahead of where it falls in the natal chart. For instance, my natal Pluto is at 10-degrees 46 minutes Scorpio. Since I am almost 35 years old, and my Ascendant is at 15-degrees 59 minutes Sagittarius, Solar Arc Pluto has now moved about 35-degrees from it’s natal placement TO my natal Ascendant. -Solar Arc Planets, especially when conjunctions to the natal angles happen, tend to point towards actual events taking place. Same thing can be said about the Solar Arc angles making contact with natal planets and angles. **Side note: A lot of people who work with Solar Arcs only focus on 1 degree to 30-minutes of a Solar Arc planet contacting a natal planet (applying and separating). While I don’t disagree that the closer the Solar Arc planet (or angle) is to being in an exact aspect with the natal planet or angle the more impact the Solar Arc will have, I actually extend the orb out further – 2-degrees applying and separating. The reason for this is because you can usually see and feel the ripples of the Solar Arcs brewing before the Solar Arc planet or angle contacts a natal planet or angle within 30-minutes. **Another side note: Solar Arcs really do fucking work. For example, when I started my astrology practice, I had the Solar Arc Midheaven damn near conjunct my natal Mars, and Mars is the planetary ruler of my North Node (and ever since I started my Astrology practice, I have always had this feeling that I am doing EXACTLY what I’m supposed to be doing with my life). Solar Arc Mars was also damn near exactly conjunct my natal Sun, too.
The chart below is of the transits to my natal chart in January 2002. We have to start with the past for this whole idea about cycles to make sense.
Transits to my chart on January 2002, right around the time transit Pluto crossed my Ascendant for the first time; the other it times it crossed after going Rx and direct (Pluto bullshit things) were on June 18, 2002 (Rx motion), and on October 30, 2002 (direct motion)
The year 2002 was a terrible year (there is very little that was positive that I can say about it). It started off with a bang – a friend’s father ended his life which was shitty (this particular friend who lost her dad meant the fucking world to me). This same friend of mine who meant the fucking world to me had a good friend that didn’t like me and my friend being friends. The friend of my friend, and her mother, decided to make it their life’s crusade to ruin me (I know that sounds dramatic as fuck, but that is how it felt). This mother took it upon herself to contact all of the parents of all of my friends, my teachers, even the school administration, to let them know I was “doing drugs” and “having sex.” {Side note – I hadn’t had sex of any kind by that point in time, and I hadn’t yet tried any drugs.} While none of that bullshit was true, it was deeply hurtful, confusing, and extremely embarrassing. I had teachers pull me out of class to ask me about “my drug usage” and about my non-existent sex life that they thought existed (some of my teachers meant well and were concerned, some of them decided to take the ‘shame and scold’ approach). Because of all of this, I lost most of my friends (most of my friends parent’s believed this woman’s lies about me and didn’t want their kids hanging out with me). A switch inside of me kind of flipped into what feels like the “off” position around the time transit Pluto crossed my Ascendant (probably because of Transit Pluto doing what it was doing to my natal chart, along with all the other shit that was going on with this transit). This switch never really flipped back into the “on” position.
It was around the time that this switch in me flipped into the “off” position (this switch flipping off was probably out of some kind of self-preservation) that I started dating my first “serious” boyfriend. The relationship started off fine (the first 8 months or so that we dated were awesome). It was once we entered high school that he drastically changed into some kind of fucking demon. The abuse and bullshit started out as mentally and emotionally mind fucking me three ways from Sunday. A few examples of this were him making me think he was going to break up with me for one of my “friends,” and playing the hot and cold game where some days he would act like I didn’t exist and treat me like absolute shit, and other days I seemed to do no wrong and hung the fucking moon. It wasn’t until November 2, 2002 that the actual physical abuse started (this was right around the time Transit Pluto crossed my Ascendant for the last time). We were at the movies (in a sparsely crowded theater) sitting behind the last row of seats. He wanted me to play with his dick or some stupid shit, and I didn’t want to do that in public. He didn’t like my response, so he decided to choke me. I don’t know how long it went on for….30 seconds? A minute? I remember it caught me completely by surprise and it felt like an eternity while it was happening. And you know how I fucking responded to this shit? I fucking stayed around. I had already been beaten down SO MUCH throughout that year in various different ways that any concept of self-worth had been completely extinguished. So, I stayed….and it was all downhill from there. The sexual abuse started in 2003, and further downhill it all went. “When I tell you to open your legs, you open them.” Gross. I’ll spare you further details, but you get the point. By the spring of 2003, my self-worth was so low that when he pulled a knife on me and held it to my throat, I told him to “just fucking pull it.” I remember it took him by surprise that I reacted this way (he had done similar awful shit before, and I had been scared of it and reacted in a scared way). This time, since I guess I didn’t give him the reaction he wanted or was looking for, he put the knife down. This became my way of fighting back. **I’d like to think about it as my way of fighting back, anyway. In reality, I may have actually been okay with being taken out of the game at that period in my life. That’s the most depressing part to come to terms with.
This shit went on, on and off, until early February of 2004. Interestingly enough, this is around the time that transit Pluto was pretty much done being tightly conjunct my Ascendant. It was also around the time that I found out that on top of all the other shit he had done to me, he decided to fuck around with another girl (and this was actually the straw that broke the camel’s back).
**From a retrospective lens, there was also a whole bunch of karmic shit going on with transits to my skipped steps (Venus/Uranus and Chiron) when transit Pluto started crossing my Ascendant (which makes me think there was something I wanted and needed to learn from these life experiences….as difficult as it might be for me to swallow that notion). There were also other transits going on throughout this period of time, too, that stand out (but I will spare you from looking at a whole slew of charts).
I will show you one more chart, though: The chart of my Solar Arcs to my natal chart for July 2022 (below):

You might be wondering how any of this ties into the present day (and why I would go off on some kind of something or another about all of that shit)? Because there are some key themes that have come into play 20 years later, that have come “back around” in the last couple of years as Solar Arc Pluto has inched closer to my Ascendant (and you have to know the context of those themes from 20 years ago to know why they matter fuck all now).
Some of these echoes are: 1. There was recently a suicide in my extended family in June 2022. Weirdly enough, the same area where this person took their life is located where a bunch of the physical and sexual abuse occurred 20 years prior. This area now has a whole new layer of trauma surrounding it. The land around there needs to be salted or some shit. **There was also another suicide shortly after Solar Arc Pluto started its conjunction with my natal Ascendant (this was my friend Matthew who took his life in 2020). Also, weirdly enough, when do you think I met Matthew? When transit Pluto was conjunct my natal Ascendant 20 fucking years ago (in May of 2002). 2. There were certainly issues with a different overbearing mother early when Solar Arc Pluto started to conjunct my Ascendant, but I don’t really want to give that difficult human being any more attention here. Point is, the overbearing mother theme came around again. 3. Relationship shit shows that made me question who the fuck I am (different kind of shit show than 20 years ago…but still, a shit show). The divorce between myself and my ex-husband has been the biggest personal life change to occur during this Solar Arc. Out of respect for our son, I won’t go into details other than to say the person I thought I was married to was NOT who I thought he was at all. I found this out in the first part of 2020 as Solar Arc Pluto started applying with my natal Ascendant within 2-degrees. **This took a long time for me to fully process and come to terms with (which has happened over the past couple of years).And Goddamn, it was painful. 4. The feelings of exile and isolation have come back around. This is kind of weird for me because I’m not really someone who needs to have someone up my ass or me up their ass in real life in any kind of relational capacity (I’m pretty “low maintenance” that way). I will say this, though – most everyone that I am close with (outside of family) doesn’t live anywhere near where I am, and sometimes you actually want to be IN someone’s presence. You don’t even HAVE to fucking do anything with them (we could fucking sit in silence for all I care….it’s just being in the physical presence of people that you know really love you and care for you and you love and care for them – that’s what matters). This was something that I lacked throughout Transit Pluto conjunct the Ascendant, and it’s been thrown in my fucking face by the universe that this is lacking now, too. 5. Me having to ask myself the question “when is enough, enough?”
There are a few distinct differences between Transit Pluto crossing the Ascendant 20 years ago and Solar Arc Pluto conjunct the Ascendant now: 1. There have been a few instances where it has felt like there has been a proverbial knife at my throat (thank God no literal ones this time!) …..except this time around, 20 years later, I’m not telling anyone or anything to “just fucking pull it.” 2. I actually HAVE people in my life that I love and that love me back. Even if they are far away, this does exist for me. There is also a sense of community in a bunch of different ways that was lacking for a long time in my life, and was definitely lacking 20 years ago (but is definitely not lacking anymore). **Side note – To anyone in my life right now (or has been on the ride with me over the past couple of years) – I am so eternally grateful for you. 3. Not dealing with the trauma in destructive ways. Fuck that shit. 4. I felt totally and completely silenced 20 years ago. I’m not silencing myself now. Fuck that shit, too. 5. Even though the past couple of years have been really hard in so many ways, they have also been some of the best years of my life. I know that sounds weird, but there has been SO MUCH good over the last couple of years. The notion of so much good did NOT exist in tandem with all of the shit 20 years ago. 6. It has felt like, weirdly enough, over the course of Solar Arc Pluto conjunct my natal Ascendant, that the switch that got turned “off” 20 years ago is finally flipping back into the “on” position. Watch out world, lol, I’m coming for you.

This is Part II in the continuation of the series on the US’s Pluto’s Return, which started in earnest in early 2020 and will go on through December 27, 2025 (once Transit Pluto clears 2 Aquarius 33 in the sky which is within the 5-degree separating orb I use for transit to natal planets). This year when the US has it’s “birthday” on July 4, 2021 feels really important from a Solar Return perspective since 2022 is when transit Pluto comes home “exactly” to it’s natal position – this happens on February 20, 2022, on July 12, 2022, and on December 27, 2022. You might be asking yourself “can countries have Solar Returns?” Lol I don’t really know. I mean, if people have them, I don’t see any reason why a country couldn’t have them, too. Natalie and myself were talking about this a couple of months ago – if it is possible to look at a Solar Return for a country. We both kind of came to the conclusion that there really wasn’t any reason you couldn’t do a Solar Return chart for a country (in theory). If nothing else, it might give some ideas about what the country (any country’s Solar Return you might look at) will be going through during any given year. In saying all of that, it would make the Solar Return’s for the US for 2021 through 2022, and also 2022 through 2023, extremely important since these Solar Return’s would also correlate with the time frame that transit Pluto comes home to it’s natal position. For this Solar Return chart, I set the reference place to Washington, DC.
Above is the US’s Solar Return chart for 2021, which will start on July 4, 2021 at 10:52 pm. The Sun is obviously in Cancer since that won’t change in the SR chart, but it moves from the natal 7th House to being in the 5th House in the SR chart. To me, this feels like a much more emotional, moody, and sensitive self expression openly than the country may be used to operating. We’ve been “emotional” for a while as country, but during 2021/2022 this feels like it probably is intensified. I don’t think the sensitivity translates to being kinder to one another, but it feels more pissy in nature….expressing our pissy-ness as a nation because we get butt-hurt or offended by things collectively…just taking things WAY too personally (Cancer energy can get rather offended by shit, no offense, and when this energy feels offended it can get pissy and/or retreat into what’s most comfortable for it). Or, lol, it could express itself in a pissy or offended kind of way – perhaps creatively expressing itself from this place of offense and pissy-ness due to the sensitivity. This sounds pretty apt for now, even though the 2021 Solar Return hasn’t actually started yet.
The Solar Return Moon is in Taurus in the 3rd House (where the 5th House will dispose of itself since Cancer rules the 5th). Self-expression will need to be communicated, meaning a lot of this sensitivity, and feelings of pissy-ness and offense (and other shit) will “need” to be communicated. Since the 3rd House is “local” in nature, I think several regions of the US will probably kind of commiserate in their “offenses” together, perhaps only feeling emotional security when communicating with those that hold the same values they do, feel offended by the same things they do, or feel pissy about the same things they do (such as different regions, states, or other localities kind of banding together in this way – and the local aspect stands out with the 3rd House tending to deal more with “local” issues). Something along those lines seems really possible, anyway. Interestingly enough, the SR Moon is also conjunct one of the SR Chart Ruler’s (Uranus, by modern rulership of Aquarius). This puts the way the US expresses itself naturally and knee-jerk very enmeshed with the countries emotional core this year – I think there will be several parts of the country that no longer feel like they can count on the federal government for things (or won’t want to count on them) just due to the local flavor of the Moon in the 3rd House – and finding security from these more local areas instead of finding security as a whole. The coming together of the Moon and Uranus in Taurus (with Uranus in the 2nd House), changing emotional values and the way they are communicated seem really highlighted, too. These also feel like they could be incredibly erratic and unstable. With the Sun trine the Moon/Uranus conjunction, this doesn’t bother any of these planets (they feed off one another).
There is also something that I want to mention about Aquarius and Uranus energy thrown into the mix (with Aquarius as the Ascendant and Uranus the modern chart ruler) – while Uranus and Aquarius are both incredibly open-minded and tolerant, at the highest vibration both of these are open-minded and tolerant to almost anything. At a lower vibration, there can be an “Us v. Them” mentality to this sign and planet – only being open-minded and tolerant to those that are the flavor of open minded and tolerant that they themselves are. This is very much of a hallmark of the people in this country right now – only being open minded to those that share the same thoughts, feelings, etc. This will probably only get worse during 2021/2022 considering the way that we have been going as country (and with the Moon and Uranus fucking each other in the SR, it actually feels like this becomes even more erratic and unpredictable). Aquarius and Uranus energy is also very revolutionary, reformative, and rebellious. I’m not ragging on ANY of these things, because they are absolutely necessary catalysts for change (and, let’s face it, there need to be some changes made in the way the US functions). At a lower vibration, all these are notions that are necessary for any (positive) change to end up devolving into chaos and what feels like finger pointing at the groups of people that are different than they are, or pairing off with groups of people that share their same views on things (and only sticking with those groups/people). This, I also feel like, will only get worse too. While there are definitely things that need to be reformed here in this country, we really do need to do this in the correct way and join together in the higher vibration of Aquarius/Uranian energy – not let it tear us apart.
This SR Chart actually has two chart rulers – Uranus by modern rulership of Aquarius and Saturn by traditional rulership of Aquarius. Saturn in the SR chart also shows where “work” is put in, and where “testing” happens. SR Saturn squares SR Uranus, which definitely makes me feel like there is a distinct tension here (duh, this is clearly already happening). I do think it gets worse, though. Saturn in the 12th makes me feel like the responsibility that the country actually has, that we have as a country, is clouded over….or the ways that we try to take responsibility are just off. It’s like trying to make progress, but only really causing more problems for ourselves in the name of the progress that we’re trying to make. I think it’s really important that during the 2021 SR return we as country actually ask ourselves what the fuck it is we’re fighting for, why the fuck we’re fighting for it, and adjust the way that we fight for it when adjustments are necessary. This seems even more highlighted with SR Mars in the 6th opposite SR Saturn. The more that we just “fight” and the less we actually know what our responsibility as a country really is, the more fucked we end up. This is just a hint: we have a responsibility, in my opinion, to fucking come together and knock off the us v. them group shit. I think it’s also really important that we, instead of fighting one another, fight the real enemy here (and this real enemy sure the fuck isn’t one another, but those who push this fucking US V. THEM NARATIVE). We just seem really fucking lost about how to make any real progress (which is ultimately what Saturn in Aquarius does want – mastery over progress…and things along those lines). We probably end up shooting ourselves in the foot by way of the way we try to go about this. Hopefully I’m wrong about this and we can knock off all our bullshit.
The SR South Node is conjunct the MC in Sagittarius, with the SR North Node in Gemini conjunct the IC. This tells me that this year the country was probably wanting to focus a little less on it’s public presence (perhaps in the case of a country this would deal with it’s place on the worlds stage). Though, since we’re dealing with the South Node, it’s easy to get “sucked” back into previous ways of operating. Perhaps during 2021/2022 we wanted to move away from the focus on the country’s presence on the world stage in some capacity, focusing on things more here at home (with the IC being the core of the natal chart, it would make sense for the IC here to be, like, the core of the country). Learning how to communicate and fucking LISTEN to one another as a country. Learn how to agree to disagree, and that can we take in information that doesn’t fit our beliefs or views. I definitely feel like the SR chart is begging for us to fix things with our one another and quit fucking around with foreign lands and with foreign people. We have a tendency to do that in this country – trying to help people in other countries without helping ourselves as well (and a lot of the time, this help is really “help” and not really wanted in the first place). Mind you, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t help any other country ever – if we are asked to help with something on the international stage and we are actually in a position to help (without denying the people in this country), then we should. I think often we end up helping (or “helping”) other countries and getting in their business without taking care of the things and people here first. Really, it’s probably one of the reasons that we’re in the mess we’re in currently. We need to quit neglecting things here at home. Beliefs and truth are something that we wanted to move away from – not in the sense of the country and the people in the country not having their own personal truth (or national truth), but more away from dogmatism with these beliefs and sense of truth (Sagittarius can be incredibly dogmatic when it functions at a lower vibrational energy). I’m thinking that we want to move away from doing this both internationally and with one another in this country…but, again, the South Node is “comfortable” and “familiar,” and considering the way things have been going in this country, I feel like this probably gets worse before it gets better during the 2021 SR (if it gets better during the SR).
The SR North Node and SR South Node are also interesting to me because in the US’s natal chart, natal Uranus is at 8 Gemini 55 and the natal Descendant is at 12 Gemini 21 which is conjunct the SR North Node, and the US’s natal Ascendant is at 12 Sagittarius 21 which is conjunct the SR South Node. This makes me think it might be even harder for the US to pull itself away from previous ways of operating – we really won’t want to leave the comfort of the natal Ascendant and the SR South Node. This makes me think that what happens during this year pushes us towards the dealing with the shadow side of our country in some way (how we actually deal with that is another thing completely). From the previous article about Pluto’s Return, I mentioned the importance of Uranus in the US’s natal chart and talked some about the period of time when we have our Uranus Return being more concerning than the Pluto Return shit (personally, anyway). In the US’s natal chart, the Descendant in Gemini and Uranus conjunct the Descendant makes me think of chaotic thinking and chaotic communicating. I’m also going to throw the media into this mix – Uranus in Gemini definitely speaks of “media communications” and possible manipulation to me. ALL of these ideas ARE a part of this nations shadow side (along with many others – I could go on and on). Perception and manipulation are other key things here (and again, I think the media plays a large role IN this) – and really, I think we as a country have an even more chaotic perception of daily life due to their influence (and lets face it, reality is chaotic enough anymore). This goes for ALL sides of the media – and why the media has fucking “sides” at all is stupid.
So what does this look like for this year? I would love it if instead of staying in previous ways of operating per the SR South Node, we moved into the SR North Node (but did this by choice – it’s so much easier when it’s by choice). That we recognize the shadow sides of this country rather than ignoring them. That we learn to liberate the concept of universal brotherhood (what the shadow side of this country could be at a higher vibration…if it was free from the shadow) with one another, and much of this is done by not being so worried about being “right” and instead actually listening and discussing things with one another. Not being spoon-fed things from the media about the differences between us (which, I think, oftentimes the media makes the differences between us into much bigger differences than they are in reality – which serves to keep us more divided), and instead letting those differences radically unite us. Since there is always a perception bias with any kind of news media from the person putting the content out, my advice here is for everyone in this country to do their own independent thinking outside of the news channel they watch regularly – watch a different channel (you know the one, the news station that makes you gag to have on), just to get another perspective. That doesn’t mean that you have to AGREE with the other perspective, but watch it with a flexible mind. You could do the same thing here with ANYTHING belief related – learn how to listen to the other side. The lack of being able to do JUST THIS in America is a real problem – and this is the year that this country wanted to quit ignoring the need to DO this. Better than just watching news and such from a different vantage point, perhaps actually breaking through the barrier of needing the news to play middle man and actually talking to people who hold different truths and beliefs to be true would be a good thing. This is probably what would help us most as country, and this how I’d most like to see us change.
Do we actually DO anything of this, any of the positive things that could be done? I have no fucking idea. I’d like to think as a country we do, but really, who the fuck knows.
