  • Some Thoughts on 3I/ATLAS

    Some Thoughts on 3I/ATLAS

Disclaimer: This post is probably going to be ALL over the place (and here is a link to the video that accompanies it). Bear with me. Like everyone and their mother (hahahaha), I have also had my eye on 3I/ATLAS. Until now I haven’t wanted to write about it because, honestly, I’m not even sure wtf to say about it in a way that makes any (linear) sense. But! Because of my focus on galactic astrology and all of the research I’ve done over the years, and because people have been asking my opinion on Atlas, I kind of feel like I CAN’T NOT write something or speak about this interstellar object (or whatever the hell it is). So….here we are 🤣 and I’m going to try and make this make SOME kind of translatable sense about this interstellar object (and if you would like for me to make sense of your chart for you – which I KNOW I can do – you can get an astrology reading from me here). What I do know is that there seems to be a whole bunch of Sagittarius markers going on WITH Atlas.

    • It seems to have originally come from the area of space that houses the Galactic Center (which is at 27° Sagittarius)
-There have been things circulating online that ATLAS came FROM the GC. After doing my own research and talking to my astrophysicist friend, I have found that this is probably NOT the case. However, just the fact that it comes from the area around the GC seems symbolic & meaningful
    • The last planet that it will get remotely close to is Jupiter on March 16, 2026 before it leaves our solar system (Jupiter is the planetary ruler of Sagittarius)
    • It makes its closest contact with Earth on December 19, 2025 (the day that the New Moon in Sagittarius takes place). Picture of that chart with the position of 3I/ATLAS at the top of the page.

The name is also interesting – 3I/ATLAS. Let’s break down why this is interesting:
**Before some jerkoff is like “iTS nAMeD aFtER thE tELEscOpE tHAt FouND iT!”…yeah, I know that (the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System or ATLAS). Even so, the name is still interesting to me**

    1. I was lying in bed one night thinking about this comet (like I do with ~*deep space shit*~) and saying the name over and over in my head, and I realized that “3i” sounds an awful lot like “third eye.” What does this mean in the context OF Atlas? Not totally sure. It does make me wonder if this comet is doing something energetically to “activate” the third eye of us Earthlings (individually and collectively). Think about it, though – people who have gone through any kind of “awakening” or “activation” of their third eye usually report that they hit a crisis point before or during this happens. The Earth currently feels like it’s AT a crisis point, so there *might* be something to this.
-It is said that if one tries to open their third eye too quickly (and/or they aren’t actually ready for this opening) it can cause a person to, essentially, lose their shit. Think about it – the world feels like it has been going off the fucking rails for a while, but 2025 seems to have accelerated things. There are certainly things in astroweather to back this up, but I do have to wonder if ATLAS could be in play, too.
    2. What is an Atlas? It’s a collection of maps in book form.
….and which sign of the zodiac is the one that travels & takes journeys (and might need an atlas of some kind)? Sagittarius.
    3. The name “Atlas” is generally thought to mean “bearer” or the “one who endures.” Atlas was also the name of a Titan who was punished to hold up the heavens after being on the losing end of a 10-year war with Zeus (the Titanomachy). He was said to have been a mathematician, philosopher, navigator, and astronomer (in some versions of his story he is credited with inventing astronomy all together) and is also said to have created the first celestial sphere. Because of his tie to (or creation of) astronomy, he was seen as “the one who turned the heavens on their axis.”
**I don’t know about y’all, but to me there is something VERY Chiron-esque about Atlas’ mythology.**
-There have been different things named after the Titan Atlas, like the Atlas Mountains in Africa, the Atlantic Ocean (name derived from the Sea of Atlas), and even the lost civilization of Atlantis first mentioned by Plato.
    4. The “Atlas Personality” in psychology belongs to someone who feels they bear a massive amount of weight and responsibility on their shoulders (usually because of too much responsibility given to the person in childhood). This can cause depression, anxiety, feelings of emptiness and the need to be a chronic caretaker.
**There also appears to be something deeply Saturnian about all of this, too. Chiron (which 3I/ATLAS also seems to resonate) is thought of as a bridge between Saturn (the inner planets) and Uranus (the outer planets); moving from what is known and “old” to what is unknown and “the future.”

So…. there is a lot going on in the above that needs to be talked about. First of all, there is the tie with navigation that stands out. Could it be that ATLAS is here to help us navigate something? Here to open our third eye (collectively and individually) so that we have “eyes to see”? If this is the case, then there is the question of do we even all have eyes to see in the first place? I mean, I think we do…. eventually anyway (I’m just not sure that EVERYONE is in that place right now – I mean, look at the fucking state of the world!). The next thing to mention is the idea that Atlas was seen as “the one who turned the heavens on their axis.” Just think about the gravity and weight of that statement for a minute – someone who is thought to turn the heaven’s on their axis would have a tremendous responsibility tied to them. Even the name Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System sounds like it is saddled with a whole fuck-ton of responsibility, too. Is 3I/ATLAS here to show us something about responsibility (or, perhaps, to show us something about the weight that is tied to the choices that we as individuals and the collective have made here on Earth)? Perhaps also to encourage us to make the “right” choices that benefit the individual as well as the collective? Also to point out: in the mythology, Atlas and the other Titans were battling Zeus (aka Jupiter)…another tie in with Sagittarius. SO MANY SAGITTARIUS MARKERS.

The thing going on with “Atlas” and “Atlantis” stands out to me, along with the conjunction between 3I/Atlas and the South Node during the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 19, 2025. Setting intentions and planting seeds are fantastic ways to work with the energy of a New Moon (under most circumstances), and here it feels like that still tracks.  The reason why this date is a big deal in relation to 3I/ATLAS is because THIS is the date that 3I/ATLAS will come closest to the Earth (though it’s not really “close” – that’s misleading – but it’s the closest that it will come to Earth). Now, Atlantis was first mentioned by Plato as being an advanced civilization (from before the time of its first mentioning) that sank into the ocean after some cataclysmic event. Regardless of if Atlantis ever exited on this Earth or not (or in another dimension 👀) doesn’t really matter…but what does matter is the REPRESENTATION of Atlantis as some kind of “utopian” society.

    Parabola of "the middle"

We have people today running around like it’s the “end times” (there were literally people claiming on social media that they were going to be raptured just last month in October 2025). But it’s not the end times….at least not in the way that WE think of the “end.” The astrophysicist and myself were talking about this the other day, how we are NOT at the end times, but instead we are somewhere around “the middle” of times (hence the illustration of the upward facing parabola). Therefore, it feels a little (or a lot!) like 3I/ATLAS could be the symbol of the end of one age and the dawning of a new one.

Why do I mention all of the above? Because ATLAS feels, to me anyway, very much like it could be a “way back” to something very ancient, to something that is “better” than what we currently have going on all over planet Earth. This feels even more apt for its closest contact with Earth on December 19, 2025 and the conjunction ATLAS @ roughly 10° Virgo makes with the South Node at 11° Virgo. Could we take this New Moon in Sagittarius (and its conjunction with the Galactic Center) as an opportunity – opportunity is SUCH a Sag expression – to set intentions for (or plant seeds towards) “going back” to an ancient way of being (like the Atlanteans in their utopian prime)? IF we were to all individually and collectively try and concentrate our efforts on making ourselves “better,” our individuals cups could then pour out onto the collective, thus making the collective “better,” too (and we wouldn’t have to stay “stuck” in the middle of the fucking parabola).
**The “going back” thing ALSO stands out because of the initial anti-tail that 3I/ATLAS exhibited …until the tail seemed to change (and now it has 5 fucking tails or some shit?). The anti-tail felt/feels to me a little like (apparent) retrograde motion…and retrograde motion, quite literally, points towards “going back.”

During this New Moon in Sagittarius (conjunct the Galactic Center), not only will 3I/ATLAS be conjunct the South Node, but it will also be conjunct a black hole at 10° 22′ Virgo known as M-106. No one knows the size of this black hole, but it is probable that it’s “supermassive.” Some attributes (besides having the densest galactic core of any measured) of this black hole are:
-Specifically, feeling like time is speeding up and/or getting longer
-Assessment of spatial relations needs to take place (because these can be both warped and/or precognitive in nature to the extreme)
-Big tasks become known to needing to happen, and the energy needs to flow towards those tasks with mental fortitude. Doing THIS will quiet the “chaos”

Mercury in Sagittarius, the ruler of 3I/ATLAS in this chart, is square 3I/ATLAS. This makes me think that while we might all (on some level) understand the assignment at this time, it doesn’t mean that everyone will DO the assignment or remember to turn in their homework. Sometimes the BEST thing we can do is live by example (“be the change” kind of thing) and focus on living by that individual example. Everyone else will either catch up….or they won’t (THIS very thing feels little Atlas Personality-like, too).
**The cataclysmic event that destroyed Atlantis (assuming it was real here on Earth) is said to have happened because the people angered the “Gods” and these gods either just sunk Atlantis to the bottom of the ocean, or it was a volcanic eruption spurred on by pissed off sky-daddies. Rolling with this, it feels like in the present day we’re starting out at a cataclysmic point and trying to pull our way out of it (since we are “in the middle” of the parabola). IF we all pull together, eventually we can ALL get out of the middle and be “on the upswing.”

  • Galactic Center Thoughts part XXVI

    Galactic Center Thoughts part XXVI

Lately I’ve been firing on (all) galactic cylinders due to a conversation that I got to have with an astrophysicist who reached out to me. They came across my research and were curious about my findings…so we set up some time to have a conversation. They got my mind going, I got their mind going….it was like a mind buzzing fest 🤣. They got me thinking about things with the Galactic Center a little differently than I have in the past. One of these ways is by considering the Galactic Center in an astrology chart by House placement alone (more can be read about that here). While I always figured that House placement was important, my research up until this point has been focused on planetary conjunctions to the Galactic Center (and other galactic points). While the research has not stopped on planetary conjunctions to the Galactic Center (and other galactic points), a new addition to the research has been birthed from this conversation.

    Falling into the Galactic Center

**Real quick! If you would like to be a part of the research, please send an email to ellie@saturnseason.com and I’ll hook you up with the questionnaire. If you would like me to read your astrology chart for you (about the galactic stuff or otherwise), that can be done by clicking on this text. If you are more of a watcher than a reader, click this text to watch a video about this same stuff.**

Oh! But there is more. I have found over the course of this research that certain keywords/archetypes seem to fit for the Galactic Center. Archetypes like spiritualized, distorted, fragmented, warped, mutated, transformed, extreme, intense….and some other Uranian/Neptunian/Plutonian expressions (the GC is VERY aligned with the outer planets and seems to share several of their keywords). The GC also seems to have an affinity for retrograde motion – planets conjunct the GC (regardless of being direct or not) seem to function LIKE a retrograde planet. Now, the astrophysicist has added another possible keyword to the Galactic Center toolbox:

Me: “What may be the consciousness (archetype) of a black hole be if one were to try to assign understanding to it.”
Astrophysicist: “I think I know what the answer is.”
    Me: “What?”
Astrophysicist: “It seems obvious, but it’s
    HIDDEN.”
(Me staring at them…begging them with my eyes to continue)
Astrophysicist: “So… from the outside you cannot know, but once you’re in, you have the ultimate truth. It’s the same thing to do with ALL of these things (the galactic points) indicate – the higher self.”

You have no idea HOW MUCH OF A DUMBSHIT I felt after hearing the keyword “hidden” come from them (but I felt like a dumbshit in the best possible way). In ALL OF THE YEARS that I’ve researched the Galactic Center I don’t remember EVER assigning this as an archetype for the GC. In retrospect it feels really fucking stupid that I never have. I mean, black holes ARE hidden – they are literally black in space (which is also dark) and can’t be seen unless you’re looking through special telescopes. Their gravitational pull is so intense that not even light can escape them. So…while I KNOW that this is a quality of black holes (and the Galactic Center), it was never a quality (or archetype) that I attributed TO the Galactic Center. For the past week or so, I have been meditating and thinking about the notion of HIDDEN being a keyword for the GC. Like, wtf does that even mean 😂?! This is a major part of the new phase of the research – trying to figure out WHAT exactly “hidden” means in the context of the Galactic Center. There are a few possibilities that come to mind when I think about this:

-Only YOU see these areas of life. Other people don’t seem to notice them about you or you don’t get noticed in those house areas of life (either at all or the way that you would like to be noticed)
-These house areas of life can only be accessed by going inward (not able to be accessed through the external world)
-These areas of life feel like they may actually BE somewhat hidden or obscured from you

This new phase of the research focuses specifically on the Galactic Center by House placement, but the notion of the GC being “hidden” could (and SHOULD!) also be applied to planets conjunct the Galactic Center. Since the Galactic Center is always in Sagittarius (until it moves into Capricorn in, like 300 years or whatever), this feels like a hidden understanding of something (since one of the ways that Sagittarius energy functions is through understanding things and assimilating information from things). It really depends on the WHOLE chart as to how this actually plays out for the native, but I could see it going a few different ways (or maybe ALL of these ways at different points in the person’s life):

Example: Native has the GC in the 11th House (no planets conjunct). The person may feel like their influence (11th House) is hidden in some way – either they are “hiding” it from themselves (or hiding from the influence they have), or maybe other people don’t see the influence the native has. It might also be that it’s not until the person goes inward that the influence (and other 11th House areas of life) they have is seen by the native and by other people.
**This same sort of idea above could also be applied to planets conjunct the Galactic Center and WHAT the planet wants to express/needs to express being hidden in some way from the native (or to anyone outside of the native).

The astrophysicist and I also did some talking about the notion of the higher self in relationship with the Galactic Center. Now, somewhat early on in the research I started thinking that the Galactic Center (and some of the other galactic points) were a way for a person to tap into their higher self (maybe not the only way, but definitely A WAY to do this…a telephone line to it). With their comment about going inward with the Galactic Center to tap into the higher self (and there was much more to this conversation than the part that I copied to this post) makes me think EVEN MORE that I am on a right track with this. How does this translate to the idea of the GC being “hidden” in some way (or there being something hidden about it)? Maybe the native isn’t able to reach their higher self (all of the way) until the native goes inward by the house areas of life of where the GC falls. Same thing could be said about any planets conjunct the GC. Going inward is ALSO what retrograde planets do (what they need to do to function), so this tracks from what I’ve already ascertained from the research thus far; that the Galactic Center has an affinity for retrograde motion. All of this, getting in touch with the higher self via different galactic points, is also (probably) an ever-evolving process, across time and space….across a person’s WHOLE lifetime.

  • Galactic Center Thoughts XXV

    Galactic Center Thoughts XXV

Over the 5 plus years that I have been researching the Galactic Center (and other galactic points), my focus has been primarily on planets conjunct the Galactic Center (and friends). What happens to planets conjunct the Galactic Center, etc. and what that means for the planet (and the person). What I haven’t focused on (as much) is the Galactic Center by House placement…and the impact that the GC has on the house in which it falls in an astrology chart. To be honest, in retrospect, it feels a little stupid of me to have seemingly neglected this piece of the research. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I KNOW WHY I have been so focused on conjunctions to the Galactic Center (and friends). If a person has a planet, angle, etc. conjunct the GC, etc., it makes sense that the planet, angle, etc. would be “mutated” (or other GC keywords) by the GC…which makes the planet part of this equation an important one to focus on. I’m not shifting the focus of my research (conjunctions to the GC ARE important!), but I want to begin integrating this other phase of the research to what I already have going on.

Me: “This also brings me to another question, and I realize that you don’t do what I do so you might not be able to answer this, but I’ll ask you and you tell me what you think… intuitively if it makes sense. Okay, so my focus has been primarily on conjunctions to these things (the Galactic Center, etc.), but I also have, you know, I haven’t focused as much on people (research) that don’t have anything conjunct the Galactic Center. You know, there are a lot of people that don’t have anything conjunct the GC, they just have the GC, like, in their Third House or something. Like, they just have it there. I haven’t focused as much on that, but I’ve always had a feeling that it probably intensified that house’s areas of life?”

    Answerer: “I think it must.”

What got my mind moving in this seemingly obvious direction? Someone found me through my Galactic Center research that is an astrophysicist…and is EXACTLY WHO I have been seeking out to speak with for years (without realizing that I was looking for them specifically 🤣). A very small piece of a conversation we had is above; I’m the one asking the question and they are the answerer. For privacy reasons I won’t be revealing who they are but trust me when I say they know their shit. And they have given me SO MUCH to think about (this particular piece feels very mutual 🤣 it seems like I get their mind buzzing as much as they get mine buzzing).

Hypothesis (look at me being inspired to cosplay scientist 🤣): The Galactic Center in an astrology chart plays a huge role in the chart even if there happens to be no planets, angles, asteroids, etc. conjunct the GC in the chart. This translates down to the house that the GC falls, and this house’s “areas of life” may hold a lot of “weight” for the native.

**Real quick! If you would like to be a part of the research, please send an email to ellie@saturnseason.comand I’ll hook you up with the questionnaire. If you would like me to read your astrology chart for you (about the galactic stuff or otherwise), that can be done by clicking on this text.  And! If you are more of a watcher than a reader, here is a YouTube video on the same sort of stuff ^_^

Words like “extreme,” “intense,” “spiritual,” “distorted,”  “highly-charged,” “mutation,” and “fragmentation” are some of the first words that come to mind when I think about the Galactic Center. If I were to assign the GC “keywords” (or it’s own “consciousness”) to explain what it does….which, over the years, is exactly what I have done…these are the words I would choose. Through the research these particular keywords seem to fit for people when they consider the impact that the Galactic Center has on planets, etc. that happen to be conjunct it in their charts. Now I’m wondering if the same thing could be said about the Galactic Center’s effect on the house that it falls in the natal chart (regardless if there happens to be a planet conjunct the GC or not).
**You might notice that the keywords I have given the GC over the years have ties to Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. This is because I do feel  (and have always felt) like the GC has ties to the outer planets….almost like it encompasses ALL of their qualities in different ways and at different times.

For instance, let’s say someone has the Galactic Center in their Third House with no planets conjunct it. My thought (going with this train of thought) is that the GC being in the Third House will impact the “areas of life” which the house represents…JUST because the GC is in that house. In this example, it could cause there to be some distortion/spiritualized/intense/extreme/highly charged/mutated/fragmented regarding the person’s communication, their thoughts, their perception of things, and other Third House areas of life. This could also translate to the person have some kind of difference (or mutation) to their learning which could present as a learning difference of some kind. Difference in this context could be anything from being “gifted” to “disabled” which is why I use the term “learning difference”). The possibilities are endless…and this is exactly what I am wanting to figure out.

Since the bulk of this particular piece of the research hinges on the house that the Galactic Center falls, everyone should probably be aware of WHAT (or areas of life) that the houses represent. They are as follows:
*First House – sense of self, knee jerk reactions to the world, the vibe of the person
*Second House – resources/money, values/self-value, security, stability, survival, where we are comfortable (or not!)
*Third House – communication, basic learning (school), thinking, area that is local to you, logic & reason
*Fourth House – home, family, private spheres of life, the deeply conscious
*Fifth House – creative self-expression, risk taking (or not), leisure/hobbies, lighter side of sex and dating, where we create (this can include children)
*Sixth House – work/work environment, daily routines/habits, health of the body & mind, real world, unequal relationships
*Seventh House – relationships/partnerships of ALL varieties, legal contracts, balance (or lack thereof)
*Eighth House – other people’s money/resources/values (or those that are shared), deep soul merging between two people, insecurity, instability, discomfort, inheritance (tangible & intangible), the bridge between the conscious & unconscious
*Ninth House – understanding & assimilating information, higher learning (university, etc.), areas that are NOT local, abstract thinking, beliefs of all kinds
*Tenth House – public spheres of life, career, reputation, goals & ambitions (or lack thereof)
*Eleventh House – long term goals, hopes & wishes, influence, (career) legacy, what we share with other people, friends/groups/social & humanitarian causes
*Twelfth House – health of the mind & spirit, release (what this house wants most of all), the unconscious/unseen, imprisonment (of all kinds), escape, spirituality
**This above is in no means a complete list, lol, but it gives you an idea for the purposes of this blog post and if you know nothing about astrology and want to partake in the research**
….and as a side note, if you want to REALLY LEARN how to read an astrology chart, check out the Star Cards.

Now, the astrophysicist has added another possible keyword to the Galactic Center:
Me: “What may be the consciousness (archetype) of a black hole be if one were to try to assign understanding to it.”
Answerer: “I think I know what the answer is.”
    Me: “What?”
Answerer: “It seems obvious, but it’s HIDDEN.”
(Me staring at them…begging them with my eyes to continue)
Answerer: “So… from the outside you cannot know, but once you’re in, you have the ultimate truth. It’s the same thing to do with ALL of these things (the galactic points) indicate – the higher self.”

You have no idea HOW MUCH OF A DUMBSHIT I felt after hearing the keyword “hidden” come from them (but I felt like a dumbshit in the best possible way). In ALL OF THE YEARS that I’ve researched the Galactic Center I don’t remember EVER assigning this as an archetype. In retrospect it feels really fucking stupid that I never have. I mean, black holes ARE hidden – they are literally black in space and can’t be seen. Their gravitational pull is so intense that not even light can escape them. So this begs the next part of my thought process – could there be things about the house in which the GC falls that are HIDDEN to the native? And if any planets DO happen to be conjunctions the GC, does that make things about that planet hidden to the person? There ARE SO MANY ways to think about this (which I will be doing for a while, probably).

In the words of the astrophysicist: “These things are not going to NOT affect us.”
(These things that they are talking about are the galactic points)

  • The Great Attractor and what it might mean in an Astrology Chart

The Great Attractor and what it might mean in an Astrology Chart

This post was originally published on September 2, 2021. As time has gone on (and my understanding of deep space astrology has deepened) I have learned more about how to possibly incorporate this deep space anomaly into reading an astrology chart. Rather than doing a whole new post on the Great Attractor, I figured I would bring together the old post with the new stuff that I’ve learned. Also, as of September 2024 there IS a questionnaire on the Great Attractor, the Shapley Attractor, and the Dipole Repeller. If you want to be a part of the research (volunteer as tribute 🤣) shoot an email to ellie@saturnseason.com and I’ll get you the questionnaire!

Where is the Great Attractor located? Currently it’s at 14° 17′ Sagittarius.

**Here is a video that I did about the Great Attractor in September 2021 if you’re more of a watcher than a reader. These videos from July 2023 are about the Shapley Attractor and the Dipole Repeller (which is what opposes Shapley in space). There is also a recent post written about the Shapley Attractor that can be found here.

*********** Blog Post from 2021 Starts Below ***********
Lately I’ve been getting some messages on reddit (and even emails from previous clients) asking me about the Great Attractor – wanting to know if I will ever be discussing/diving into this, or if I was even aware of this anomaly in space in the first place. Since it has come up enough, I figured I would do a post about this since I am aware of this and it IS on my radar (I have just been too preoccupied with clients and the GC to really dive in). I am absolutely delighted that so many of you all are aware of the Great Attractor too ^_^

So…..what is the Great Attractor? It is supposedly the gravitational pull point in the Laniakea Supercluster (a “meta-galaxy”/collection of superclusters of galaxies in which our own galaxy is a part of). It is considered an anomaly because the Great Attractor functions like a black hole (it warps time, space, and light), but unlike a black hole it has no event horizon (so it doesn’t fit the standard definition OF a black hole). The Great Attractor appears to be pulling different super clusters of galaxies towards it, and scientists believe that our own galaxy supercluster is also being pulled towards it. The GA is also thought to be made up of “dark energy.” The definition of dark energy is “anything that is, in effect, an intrinsic property of space. That has a constant energy density regardless of the dimensions of the volume under consideration. Thus, unlike ordinary matter it is not diluted by the expansion of space.” Dark energy is thought to be the reason that the universe is accelerating in its rate of expansion (though no one seems like they are 100% sure about this). Dark doesn’t mean literally dark (or bad/negative), but “mysterious” and “unknown,” and unknown it is – while it is thought to make up a whole bunch of space, scientists still aren’t real sure what the fuck dark energy is.

Same thing could be said about the GA – scientists KNOW there is something there pulling these different superclusters towards it, but they aren’t real sure how to classify the GA. To make it even more difficult to understand, the GA happens to fall in the zone of avoidance (which means it isn’t easy to see it with visible light wavelengths due to being blocked by the Milky Way’s galactic plane). The only way that it has been observed is with X-rays (though the area of space where they think the GA is located happens to be in an area where the Norma Cluster of galaxies is located). So, lol, that’s fucking weird. If this is actually like a black hole, shouldn’t it be “sucking” up the Norma Cluster?

Why does any of this matter? I like to look at the science behind this deep space shit to try to apply it to an astrology chart. Here are some thoughts that I have about the GA and how it might function in a natal chart. While the GA can be pulled in anyone’s chart, I do think it probably has the most impact in the lives of people who have conjunctions to the GA (planets, Chiron, the Nodes, cardinal points, etc.).
-Even if scientists aren’t sure WHAT the GA is or HOW the GA functions, it does seem to be some kind of force that pulls things to it. This makes me think that the GA in a natal chart functions in a similar way – acting as an attracting force. Is this for the good of the person, or to the person’s detriment? I’m a little on the fence about this particular notion. I feel like this could really go either way.
-Since the GA happens to be in the Zone of Avoidance in the sky, I feel like this can probably be translated down to the natal chart, too. The person may not be as clear about what the GA attracts into their life (or even what they can consciously attract when they are able to SEE/FEEL the GA in their own charts and how it functions).
-A planet conjunct the GA (or cardinal point, Chiron, etc.) may attract things into the native’s life dealing with whatever planet (et.al) is involved in the conjunction. This person may not have as much conscious control of what they attract in this regard. However, I have this idea that when the person is consciously aware of what they attract, they are probably able to attract exactly what they want to them (this probably takes a lot of self-control and self-awareness).
-I have mentioned before that the Galactic Center might function like an antenna, picking up shit from the GC and even shooting stuff back out from the antenna. I think the GA might function in a similar way (but it DOES feel different than the GC, even if they both have the feeling of having this antenna). I’ll have to sit with this part a little longer to figure out exactly HOW to articulate the difference, lol.

How can you pull the Great Attractor in your own chart? Go to astro.com and go to the “extended chart selection” after creating an account. Go down to where it says “additional objects” towards the bottom, and click on the list of “fixed stars.” Go down the list, and once you get to the G’s, look for something labeled “Great Attractor, GA.” Click on that option and then pull your chart.

There is something else here to mention….something that kind of “ups the ante” of the GA, and this something called the Shapley Attractor. Scientists have proposed that the Shapley Attractor might be stronger than the Great Attractor, and that the Shapley Attractor MIGHT be the “collaboration” between the Shapley Supercluster and the Great Attractor coming together to create a whole new attractor. I have NO idea how to pull this in the chart (but I’m looking into it, lol).

********* New stuff starts below this page break *********

First of all, it really blows my fucking mind that the original blog post on the Great Attractor was written over 3 years ago (currently it’s September 2024). Time goes so, so fast. Even though we are 3 years out from when I wrote the original post, my train of thought on the Great Attractor is still similar. There are some things that I would like to add on to what I was included in the original post. Before I get into that though, I am now looking at conjunctions within 7° applying with and separating from the Great Attractor at (currently) 14° Sagittarius (and this is where I am focused on the questionnaire). If you have planets conjunct the GA within that window of orb and want to be a part of the research, please reach out and I’ll get you the questionnaire. What I’m adding to the original article (in the text below) comes from people sharing their experiences with me via email (even without a formal questionnaire existing until now people love to share their experiences) from conversations I’ve had with clients in readings about planets, etc. conjunct the GA, and based on my own study of this deep space anomaly.

    1. In the original post I mentioned that the Great Attractor could act as an attracting force in an astrology chart (causing the native to pull or attract things to them). The comment was also made that I was on the fence (in 2021) as to if this was to the native’s benefit or detriment. Really, as of September 2024, I do think of the Great Attractor as a more “benevolent” force (or that the things attracted do tend to be for the native’s benefit overall). As a disclaimer, that doesn’t mean that the Great Attractor will ALWAYS function in “positive” ways (this is not universal by any means).
-I also think that this attraction and pull is ALWAYS happening whether the person is aware of it or not. It seems to me that this attraction and pull could be even more beneficial for the native when they are aware that they have this kind of pull in the first place.
-The pull/attraction with the GA also appears to be the kind of pull where once the attraction and pulling begins, it can be really hard to turn it off or take it back. This is another reason it seems important to know what pull and attracting are happening to begin with, so the wheels of attraction that are set in motion are actually ones that the person wants to consciously set in motion in the first place. Even then, because once these wheels seem to start turning they are hard to turn off, it’s a good idea for the GA person to triple check with themselves that what they are wanting to attract is ACTUALLY what they want.

    2. People with Great Attractor conjunctions in their chart seem to be people that are looked to for answers about things. This seems to be the case even if the native doesn’t see themselves in the same knowing-capacity (and it can be very confusing when the person isn’t aware of the planet, etc. conjunct the GA exerting this influence). For instance, if someone has Venus conjunct the GA, they might find that to other people they are seen as all-knowing in regards to things Venus wants to express (things like love, harmony, relationships, values, etc.), and they might also find that other people seek out the Venus conjunct GA person for answers about Venusian questions. This doesn’t mean that the Venus conjunct GA native sees themselves in this same way; on the contrary, the native might not see themselves as proficient on Venusian topics at all. Even if they don’t think they have the answers to Venusian sorts of questions….they usually do (and they can usually offer some good insights, advice, or answers about such things).

    3. The Great Attractor seems to be less “polarizing” than the Galactic Center (and the Galactic Grand Cross) seems to be. Some of this is probably because there doesn’t appear to be anything opposite the Great Attractor (so there isn’t an opposition to cause any polarity in the first place). Normally this lack of opposition would bother me (and I would be like a dog with a fucking bone trying to figure out WHAT opposes it). In this case it doesn’t bother me because one theory within the scientific community about the Great Attractor is that it’s actually part of the Shapley Attractor/Supercluster (and the Shapley Attractor DOES have the Dipole Repeller in opposition). Bringing this down to the astrology chart, the person with conjunctions to the GA seems to not be seen as polarizing (or that specific part of their chart is not seen as polarizing). For instance, Venusian thoughts and expressions by the person with Venus conjunct the GA might be seen as not at all polarizing by other people. This could be because the native really doesn’t approach Venus notions in a polarizing way (which is absolutely possible). Or it could be because another person just doesn’t SEE the Venus conjunct GA person as being polarizing.

    4. The above brings me to my last point – the person with something conjunct the Great Attractor seems to have something about them that causes other people to SEE what they WANT/NEED to see in the person regarding the planet, etc. conjunct the GA (this is another reason why these people may come off as not polarizing regarding to the planet, etc. conjunct the GA, especially if the person on the outside WANTS/NEEDS to view the GA person as non-polarizing). This isn’t the GA person making themselves seem a different way than they are, but more about how they are received by other people (there doesn’t appear to be the manipulation or malice involved on the part of the GA person). Now, this can be a beneficial thing for the GA person or not beneficial at all; it really depends on what is WANTED/NEEDED to be seen in the GA person by someone else. Regardless of what other people want/need to see in the GA person, it’s most important that the planet conjunct GA person sees themselves (and that planet conjunct the GA) clearly and without a filter.

  • Some thoughts on how to bring the Galactic Center shit “down to Earth.”

Just as a disclaimer – this is literally JUST an idea, I’m just fucking around with this shit and am in no way, shape, or form claiming that this is “correct,” or that I am any kind of expert in this particular area of astrology (I won’t do myself dirty/sell myself completely short though – I have a lot of astrological knowledge in MANY areas of astrology, but this particular are, the Galactic Center (GC), is more of a “mystery” to me). I also reserve the right to to find this wrong later on…so, in other words, no one hold me to this shit 🤪Without playing around with ideas and theories and stuff like that, we wouldn’t ever learn anything new.

In the intro article that I wrote about the Galactic Center (GC), I mentioned the idea of bringing stuff FROM the GC “down to Earth.” In case I didn’t make it clear WHY this would be necessary in the first place (sometimes I’m not as clear as I would like to be 🤣), there is an idea that the GC is the source of all creation, and a life-line to the “other side” (or other realms, other dimensions, etc.). There is also an idea that the GC is a way to tap into this source of all creation, to tap into other dimensions, and even to be FED information from the source of all creation and/or from other dimensions. Why would this need to be brought “down to Earth?” Because the GC, I would think, could feed people some really weird shit that may not make a whole bunch of sense, and almost needs to be translated into our language here on Earth (the GC seems like it speaks a language all its own). EVERYBODY has the GC in their natal chart, meaning EVERYBODY has this potential in their chart. I won’t lie, though – the propensity to be really connected to the GC does seem like this would be the strongest with people who have planets conjunct the GC (and probably even planets opposite the GC, albeit in a different way). Currently, the GC is at 27-degrees 3-minutes Sagittarius (or 27 Sagittarius 03), but it moves VERY SLOWLY like a fixed star (it’s not a fixed star, but it moves LIKE one), meaning you will need to pull the GC in your own chart to know exactly where it was when you born.

In the intro to the GC article, I mentioned that there is the Galactic Center (GC), and then there is the Galactic Anti-Center (GaC) which is opposite the GC (right now the GaC is at 27 Gemini 03). I also mentioned that scientifically the Earth is 2/3 of the way from the GC, and 1/3 of the way from the GaC (this may or may not be a rough or crude estimation) – Earth is definitely closer to the GaC than the GC. In knowing ALL of this, in regards to this theory I’m playing with, we’d be looking for the place in the chart where the 2/3 and 1/3 point meet.

There are 360-degrees in a natal chart. Having the GC and GaC opposing each other, we are looking at two different sections of the chart with 180°. Here is an example of what I’m talking about:

So, we might theoretically be looking at two spots where the GC information could be brought down to Earth since we’d be looking at one point on the lower half of the chart and another point on the upper part of the chart. In doing the math here, 180 divided by 2/3 you get 120 and 180 divided by 1/3 you get 60. This would put this theoretical point where you could bring information down to earth 60-degrees from the GaC and 120-degrees from the GC on either part of the chart. Since the GC is currently at 27 Sagittarius 03, this would make these points 27 Aries 03 and 27 Leo 03 right now (and from the windows of degrees from 17 Aries 03 to 07 Taurus 03 and 17 Leo 03 to 07 Virgo 03. For example, in my natal chart the GC was at 26 Sagittarius 41 when I was born, so this would make the precise location of the points in my chart 26 Aries 41 (in the 4th House) and 26 Leo 41 (in my 9th House), and would make these windows from 16 Aries 41 to 06 Taurus 41 and 16 Leo 41 to 06 Virgo 41. You would need to see where the GC was when you were born to find the precise location for this in your own chart.

What I think might be really important here is if one has planets conjunct this particular degree, or within a certain window of degrees, to be able to bring the stuff one gets fed from the GC down to Earth. I would use a wider orb here – maybe something like 10-degrees on either side….or that’s what I’m starting out with regarding this theory (casting a wide net like with the initial GC research on reddit). This would put this window from 16 Aries 41 to 6 Taurus 41 and from 16 Leo 41 to 6 Virgo 41 based on my own chart – depending on where exactly the GC was when you were born this might be a little different “minutes” wise.

These windows of degrees in the chart seem, at the moment, where all the shit from the GC could be translated down to Earth. If one has conjunctions to the GC, but no planet (or the Sun/Moon Midpoint, Chiron, cardinal points, etc.) within that window of degree, they might be given a ton of information from the GC but never be able to translate or transmute that information down to Earth in a way that makes sense to them or anyone else. Luckily, there are two windows of degree for this (as of now I’m rolling with this, anyway), meaning it seems like there would be a better chance that something in the chart would fall within those windows.

This also brings the question of planets trine the GC to the forefront of my mind (since these windows of degree are essentially trine the GC). It probably plays in and plays out the strongest when looking at someone who has planets conjunct the GC (maybe even opposing the GC), and something trine it to bring that information down to Earth. The people that just have the trines to the GC but no conjunctions – they are able to translate (or transmute) the GC energy down to earth more easily, maybe, but they might not be as familiar with where that energy comes from if they don’t have a planet conjunct the GC as well (meaning they may not really know what they are able to translate in the first place). It does seem like a planet (or whatever) falling within these windows of degrees could serve as a filter for bringing the stuff the GC feeds someone down to Earth – it could be used as a vehicle this way. The closer the planet (or whatever) is to the actual exact points, 60-degrees on either side of the GaC and 120 degrees from the GC, the better this planet serves as vehicle for bringing shit down to Earth.

Definitely play around with this and I’d love to hear any thoughts that anyone has. I will probably make a video about this over the weekend and link it to this post, lol.

To find the GC in your own chart, go to astro.com and under the fixed star list (once you’ve picked the extended chart selection at the top, you will go the to the bottom where it says “additional objects” after entering your information). Go down to the G’s and pick the option that says “Gal. Center, SgrA*.” Then run the chart 🙂

Here is YouTube video that kind of goes along with all of the above ^_^ and if you would like for me to read for you, you can book a reading with me here 🙂

  • A Light Introduction to the Magic of the Galactic Center

I have never written about the Galactic Center, but it has been a focus of mine and on my radar for well over a year and a half (probably closer to two years at this point). Natalie (my partner in crime) and myself have tossed around ideas about the Galactic Center (the GC) – even during the process of creating the Star Cards, we would still toss around ideas about the GC here and there. So, earlier this year after the release of the Star Cards, we put out a “call” to anyone who might have planets conjunct or opposite the Galactic Center. For anyone who is interested about the original post on our subreddit, r/letsfuckwithastrology, you can find that by clicking this.

Why did I post that here? Because this post actually gives a decent over-view of where our minds were at the time that we put out this “call” to anyone who may have planets conjunct the GC or opposing the GC. Also, the post tells you how to pull the GC on your own chart. It isn’t a fixed star, but it moves very, very slowly like a fixed star moves – currently it is at roughly 27-degrees Sagittarius. Below you will find my chart with the GC pulled so you can get an idea of what the symbol will look like when you pull it in your own chart.

Galactic Center (circled in yellow). Something weird happened to the formatting of the picture; ignore how weird it looks.

The Galactic Center is in the cluster fucked 1st House, where the symbol “*Gala 26 41” is in the house. So….for reasons that you can see from the chart, the Galactic Center, and understanding it better, are VERY personal to me.

The Galactic Center is thought to be several things – a lifeline or phoneline to other dimensions (to the great unknown), the source of all creation, a place from where “divine” information comes from, and other magical things. The reddit user u/6footsiren put it beautifully when they called the GC a “command center” – this definitely feels like a very apt way to think of it. Mayan’s called the GC, the center of our galaxy, “Hunab Ku” which they considered to be the supreme Godhead. The Mayan’s seemed to work quite a bit with the GC from an astrological perspective, but it isn’t as worked with across the board in the astrological community today….which, I think, should be changed. Scientifically, the Galactic Center is a super-massive black hole in the center of our galaxy (our Sun orbits the GC, so some have theorized that the GC is like a “hidden” luminary in the chart). There is a radio source that is found to come from the GC (which is why it has the name Sagittarius A – that’s what the source is called) that was discovered in 1974….which, lol, is weird (this radio source is particularly “bright” and “complex”… and coming from the center of our galaxy). It is hidden from the human eye due to all the space dust and other shit that is obscuring it from view, though the GC itself is not hidden from the human eye.

When I found out about the GC a long time ago, it didn’t catch my attention the way it did about two years ago (I guess it wasn’t the time for it to catch my attention a long time ago). But once it really caught my attention, it REALLY caught my attention (and caught Natalie’s attention, too) and got us thinking about the nature of black holes in general. I’m not going to use the correct word here, but they do something like “suck” things into them….and once that something in space is sucked into them, they are fundamentally changed. They go through a process of spaghettification that pulls the object vertically and horizontally, completely changing the object in question. This then got us thinking……is that what happens to planets in the natal chart when they are conjunct the GC? Obviously the planet isn’t falling into a black hole in real life, but in terms of the natal chart it seems like having planets conjunct the GC would fundamentally CHANGE them (and actually here I’m thinking this change could be more like a “CHARGE”). There is just something SO Uranian about the GC as it is (to me the GC feels very Uranian in the way that retrograde planets and out of bounds planets tend to have an affinity to Uranian energy ). There is also something very Plutonian about the GC as well, the “transformative” aspect of it.

On the other side of the sky is the Galactic Anti-Center, which is next to a very bright star and is a much “calmer” area of the galaxy over all. There is a lot of space dust going in this area, which makes me wonder if the brightness of the star Elnath (which is close to the anticenter) and the space dust might cause planets opposite the GC to be “fogged” over – harder to access in some way, harder to “see” in real life. I have seen the anti-center as theorized as where the information from the GC can be brought down to “Earth.” I can see that train of thought, and have played around with it myself, but from a scientific point of view, it doesn’t quite make sense. The Anti-Center is 1/3 distance from Earth, and the GC is 2/3 of the way from Earth (that’s probably a really crude estimate, but you get the idea)….which makes me think that where the information from the GC is brought down to Earth is actually at the point in the chart where the 2/3 and 1/3 meet. This is also the place where any planets opposite the GC are best able to be seen.
**Since the GC is thought of as a phoneline to other dimensions, there is a theory that the GC gives people information from “somewhere else,” and other things along those lines. While I think this is possible for anyone, I do think it’s probably stronger for those with actual planets/cardinal points/etc. conjunct the GC.
******I’m very on the fence about the Galactic Anti-Center, and what it actually DOES mean. I KNOW it means SOMETHING, just not totally sure WHAT (and exactly HOW they impact planets conjunct it)*******

I will definitely be writing more on this subject because I don’t think it’s talked about enough in Astrology or used enough in practice. All of this research is to be able to use the GC better, and to understand it better. For now though, I have made some videos on some stuff about the GC that has been noticed by both myself and Natalie (I will link them below for anyone who is interested in order). Eventually I will write out the stuff that I talk about in the videos, lol, at some point. If you only wanna watch one, I would watch the 5th one…this stuff is really on my radar right now at the moment.

If anyone wants to be a part of the research, email me and let me know 🙂 I’ll send you the questionnaire that we shot to people via reddit.

More to come….later…..as the research unfolds.

If you would like a reading from me, you can click this to make that happen 🙂 and I can incorporate the Galactic Center (and other Galactics) into the reading.
