In 2021, I did a blog post about how famous whistleblowers seemed to be GC activated, with a large majority of them having a planet, etc. conjunct the GC. It was always my plan to dive into this further because I think it’s really interesting…so that’s what this blog post is about.

While the idea of the Galactic Center having an affinity for whistleblowers isn’t a novel concept on it’s own, the deeper research into this IS novel. I have not seen anyone else make some of the connections that I have made over the years regarding what follows.

Why the tie between the Galactic Center and whistleblowers?

The most simple answer is the Galactic Center is in Sagittarius (currently at 27° 13′ Sagittarius), and one of the ways that Sagittarius energy expresses itself is through honesty and telling the truth (among other ways). The definition for whistleblower is “a person, often an employee, revealing information about activity within a private or public organization that is deemed wrongful – whether it be illegal, immoral, illicit, unsafe, unethical, or fraudulent “(definition comes from wikipedia). The above definition feels like it would pull at the Sagittarius strings of honesty and calling out things that are dishonest.

Another thing about the Galactic Center is that it is hidden – it’s literally a black hole in space that you can’t see. This very thing feels like it ties into the notion of Galactic Center-y people (and even Galactic Anti-Center-y people in a differenet way) bringing forth information on “hidden” activities.

Galactic Center, Jupiter Retrograde & “Protection”

The Galactic Center not only appears to be a function for “truth telling,” but it also appears to provide some element of protection for the person with planets conjunct the Galactic Center. What REALLY appears to provide the most protection from blowback and repercussions is when the whistleblower has planets, etc. conjunct the GC AND Jupiter Retrograde in their chart. Why does Jupiter matter? Because it’s the planetary ruler OF the Galactic Center. Why does the retrograde motion of Jupiter matter? Because, throughout the years of my research, it seems that direct planets conjunct the GC function more like retrograde planets than direct planets (the GC warps, distorts, transforms, changes, etc.). This seems to cause Jupiter retrograde to be more aligned with the GC than Jupiter direct.
_{It’s also worth noting that Jupiter in the post shadow period ALSO seems to count here as we saw in the original 2021 blog post, and as we’ll see further into this post.}

Having both a planet, angle, etc. conjunct the Galactic Center AND having Jupiter retrograde seems to offer a level of “protection” to the whistleblower or “truth teller.” What does that mean exactly? The person won’t see much punishment or blowback from their whistleblowing…or if they DO see punishment or blowback it feels very minimized to what could be.
_{The protection in this case could mean the person just doesn’t see any prison time (a la Edward Snowden – covered in the 2021 post – who certainly saw blowback but NOT prison time since he was able to escape to Russia before being arrested).}

Really, I’d extend this level of protection to the Galactic Center & Jupiter Rx person beyond just whistleblowing activities. For instance, the disgraceful asshole we have as the president of the United States in 2026 has Galactic Center contacts AND Jupiter retrograde. I have long suspected that he won’t see any repercussions for his actions despite being impeached and other shit like that. This REALLY pissess me off, and I would LOVE to be proven wrong about this theory and him to actually face some kind of punishment….but here we are in 2026 and ain’t shit happening in that regard.

The people in this post

The people chosen for this post are all known for whistleblowing in some capacity. They were not used in the post in 2021 because most of these people don’t have a time of birth on file (so I set the charts without a time of birth to 12 pm)…and most of the people in the 2021 post DID have a time of birth on file (which is why I went with them first). Also to note: there are a lot of whistleblowers who don’t even have a publicly known date of birth which is frustrating to me as a researcher 😆. In saying that, there very well could be well known whistleblowers that don’t have ANY Galactic Center (or Galactic Anti-Center, aka “the lightning rod”) contacts, but they aren’t a part of the research because their DOB’s aren’t known to the public. I’m working with what is available to me at the time of publication.

Okay! Now that we’re all clear on what I’m doing in this post, let’s dive into the people and their astrology charts.

Reality Winner’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Reality Winner (time of birth unknown), who is known for being a USAF veteran and NSA Translator. While working for the NSA she leaked an intelligence report to the media about Russia’s interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Okay, so while she certainly has markers for wanting to blow a whistle of some kind (Mercury Retrograde conjunct the Galactic Center!), she doesn’t have Jupiter retrograde in her chart which DOES seem to be an important piece of “protection” for people who do blow the whistle on something. While she is out of prison now, she was given the longest prison sentence (5 years and 3 months in federal prison) ever imposed on someone for unauthorized release of government classified information.

Colleen Rowley’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Colleen Rowley (time of birth unknown), a former FBI agent who is known for testifying to the senate and 9/11 commission that the FBI ignored information about the 9/11 attacks before they occurred.

She has a very Galactic Center-y chart, with the Sun and Mercury conjunct the GC (and even though it’s wide, I’d count the North Node in Capricorn here, too). She’s part of the Pluto in Leo generation that has Pluto almost exactly trine the GC…meaning she has a way to bring the Galactic Center energy down to earth. Also important: she has Jupiter retrograde which does feel like it provided a level of “protection” for her whistleblowing activities. She did not see any repercussions (that I’m aware of) for testifying.

Mark Whitacre’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Mark Whitacre (time of birth unknown) who is known for being the highest level corporate executive to become a FBI whistleblower (aka: a cooperative witness for the FBI). He was the president of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) and the company was being investigated for price fixing.

Okay, so Whitacre doesn’t have anything conjunct the Galactic Center, but he DOES have Mars in Gemini conjunct the Galactic Anti-Center (GaC seems to function as a lightning rod). This stands out because it was his wife that got him to go the FBI, telling him that if he didn’t tell them about the bullshit, that she would (lollllll). Jupiter is not retrograde in his chart (and it’s technically in detriment in Virgo AND square the Galactic Center). Without Jupiter retrograde or conjunctions the Galactic Center, he appears to be wide open to some kind of blowback from whistleblowing activities. He ended up serving 8.5 years of a 9 year sentence in federal prison for tax evasion & fraud.

Peter Buxtun’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belong’s to Peter Buxtun (time of birth unknown) who was the epidemiologist for the US Public Health Service that blew the whistle on the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment. He leaked information on this experiment to someone at the associated press, and he is the reason that this disgusting experiment was shut down in 1972.

Buxtun has Mars conjunct the Galactic Center which definitely points to him wanting to keep his head in the sand (Scorpio 12th House traditionally ruled by Mars) but just not being able too – the Galactic Center seems to have too much of a push towards the truth. Jupiter is not retrograde in his chart, but Jupiter turned direct the day before Buxtun’s DOB in 1937 which makes me think he is still afforded the protection of Jupiter Rx. As far as I know, he never saw any blowback or “punishment” for revealing this experiment.

Daniel Ellsberg’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Daniel Ellsberg who was a military analyst that became known for releasing the Pentagon Papers in 1971. These documents told (more of) the full story of what the US was doing in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.

Ellsberg has a time of birth on file, so I am comfortable counting his Moon conjunct the Galactic Center…which makes him GC activated and (probably) pushed him towards wanting to reveal things in the first place. His Sun is trine the Galactic Center, which is where the GC stuff was brought down to earth. Now, he does NOT have Jupiter Rx in his chart (it is exalted in Cancer, though)….but he was born during the post-retrograde shadow. We’ve seen before that the post retrograde shadow seems like it can offer some level protection to the native. He was charged under the Espionage Act (along with other charges related to theft and conspiracy), but ultimately all of his charges were dismissed.

Sherron Watkins’ Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Sherron Watkins (time of birth unknown), the former Vice President of corporate development at the Enron Corporation. She is the one who blew the whistle on all of Enron’s fuckery in the 1990s.

She has Saturn Rx conjunct the Galactic Center, which might imply that she felt a heavy responsibility (Saturn) to blow the whistle on all of the bullshit afoot. Her chart is interesting to me because while she has the GC contact she does NOT have Jupiter retrograde. Her Jupiter in Scorpio could be considered in the post shadow period (Jupiter turned direct on July 20, 1959), but it’s further into the post shadow period than others in this study. For this reason I actually expected to see MORE blowback in her case. That’s not to say she didn’t see any blowback though – she was demoted from her VP position and she faced considerable criticism for not alerting the government of the fraud earlier than she did.

Frances Haugen’s Astrology Chart

The chart above belongs to Frances Haugen. Not only was her time of birth unknown but it was hard as hell to find her DOB (so take this one with a grain of salt). Because of how hard it was to find her DOB, its very possible that the DOB I found isn’t correct. Why include her then? Because her whistleblowing on Facebook’s bullshit (the 2021 Facebook leak) is recent history.

Going with this DOB, she has her Mars, Neptune & Jupiter conjunct the GC. This would make her inclined to want to call out Facebook’s bullshit (that it was aware of the harmful effects from it’s platforms and did nothing about it because it wouldn’t make them money to do something about it). She does not have Jupiter retrograde, but what she DOES have is Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center….and from the research it seems that planets conjunct the GC function MORE like retrograde planets than direct planets. This, combined with her natal Jupiter in the post retrograde shadow, feels like it offered her a level of protection from any major blowback.
