I’ve written about yods and skipped steps and deep space anomalies, and somehow never covered this. So: Astrology Seasons – WTF astrology season are we in andWTF is an “astrology season” in the first place? In the most basic sense of the word, the astrology season we are in at any given time depends on the time of year we’re talking about and where the transit Sun happens to be. List below for rough dates (though, keep in mind that these ARE NOT firm dates – to know EXACTLY where the transiting Sun throughout the year, you will need to consult an EPHEMERIS) and a few keywords (albeit not all of the keywords) for the energy of each season:
Aries Season (ruled by Mars) – March 21st through April 19th
Keywords are “initiation,” “instinctual,” “action-oriented”
Taurus Season (ruled by Venus) – April 20th through May 20th
Keywords are “comfort,” “security,” “grounded”

Keep in mind that the keywords mentioned above (and all the keywords that were not mentioned because this was not an exhaustive list) can come about in “easy” ways, “challenging ways,” and in all the ways in-between. NOTHING in astrology is black & white, or universally “good” or “bad.”
So….what does any of this mean (lololol)? Well, during the different astrology seasons we go through each year, you might notice that the collective takes on the different traits of the various keywords for each of the astrological signs or that these theme somehow come up in a collective context. Sometimes these themes are in your face, such as when Roe v Wade was overturned on June 24, 2022 during Cancer Season.
How do you apply this personally?
Most of of us tend to have times of the year that we like more than others. This is pretty personal, and often-times can be explained by what the transiting Sun is doing to your natal chart (the transit Sun is how we know what astrological season we find ourselves in). Not only what planets the transiting Sun is activating in your astrology chart by the aspects it makes to said planets, but also by what house the transiting Sun is transiting. This is also very personal and depends on how you relate and feel about the different houses in your chart. For instance, while I have a deep appreciation for the 8th House and find it fascinating, I have a difficult time during Cancer season which is when the transiting Sun is lighting up my 8th House. You might have a VERY different relationship to the season that lights up your 8th House.
“Lighting up the House” is another thing to consider. The Sun is quite literally a bright-ass light illuminating whatever house it’s transiting in your chart. A good way to work with the energy of whatever astrology season going on is to apply it to the different house “areas of life” that the transiting Sun is lighting up in your chart. For instance, as I’m writing this blog post it’s Virgo season. Look at where (what house/s) Virgo is in your astrology chart, which will tell you what areas of life are being activated by the transit Sun during this season. Is the 10th House activated? This might point at organizing something within your career. Is the 5th House activated? This might point at perfecting something about the way you creatively express yourself. These are just ideas/examples, but you get the idea.

You can take the notion of astrology seasons even further when you apply the decans.
If you aren’t familiar with WTF decans are, they are when you divide the 30° of each sign (or astrology season) into 3 segments that are 10°a piece. Essentially, each sign spans 30° and when the transit sun falls in that sign it takes on the energy of that sign. However, it also takes on the sign & planetary energy of whatever decan it happens to fall at any given time as a secondary influence. The first decan of a sign is from 0° to 10°, the second decan of a sign is from 10° to 20°, and the third decan of a sign is from 20° to 30° of a sign. For instance, currently while writing this post, the transiting Sun is at 26° Virgo. While we are IN Virgo season, we are also in the third decan of Virgo which correlates with Taurus energy (Venus) as a sub-season or secondary influence.

Adding the decans into the equation allows you to go deeper into the different astrology seasons and the energies at play at any given time.
WTF can you do with decans beyond answering “what astrology season are we in”?
SO MUCH! Decans can be used to add another layer to your personal astrology chart. Have you ever seen posts on social media that distinguish between, say, April-born Taurus people and May-born Taurus people (essentially claiming they are different “breeds” of Taurus)? Decans are partly responsible for this…because there IS a difference between someone born in the first decan of Taurus v the third decan of Taurus (one is Taurus/Venus coded while the other has the Capricorn/Saturn sub-influence). You can extend the use of decans out to other planets beyond the Sun for deeper understanding. For instance, my Moon is at 16° in the second decan of Capricorn. So while my Moon IS in Capricorn (under that season), it does have Taurus/Venus sub-influence. That Taurus/Venus sub-influence will cause my Moon in Capricorn to function differently than someone with their Moon in the first or third decans of Capricorn.
You might notice the tie-in with the word “season” and the name of my astrology practice Saturn Season Astrology, and wonder if there is any correlation between the name of my practice and the astrology seasons. There are several reasons why I named my business what I did, but one of them IS because I am very fond of BOTH Capricorn & Aquarius seasons during the year….both of which are ruled by Saturn (thus…Saturn Season).

Right now we are in the throes of the August 2026 Eclipse Season, which included a South Node Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12, 2026 and will also feature a North Node Pisces Lunar Eclipse on August 27, 2026 (or the 28th depending on where you are in the world). August 2026 has some really interesting astrology in general (beyond just the eclipses…though those are the focus of this blog post),and I wouldn’t be surprised if this month feels a little (or a lot!) all over the place. Eclipses are already pretty wild, unpredictable, and, well, all over the place, but something that might intensify any (or all) of the above is the fact that these two eclipses take place along different axes (the Solar Eclipse was along the Leo/Aqua axis, while the Lunar Eclipse is along the Virgo/Pisces axis).

WTF is an Eclipse anyway?!
⚡️A Solar Eclipse happens during a New Moon. A Lunar Eclipse happens during a Full Moon 🪄 Eclipses take place when the transiting Sun is within roughly 18° (applying or separating) of one of the Lunar Nodes during a New Moon or Full Moon 💥A South Node Eclipse happens when the transit Moon is conjunct the South Node. A North Node Eclipse happens when the transit Moon is conjunct the North Node. South Node Eclipses have some kind of tie (or pull) to the “past” and North Node Eclipses have some tie (or push) towards the future.
Solar Eclipse at 20° Leo on August 12, 2026
The Solar Eclipse in Leo was a South Node eclipse, meaning these “new beginnings” that New Moon’s tend to bring about might be steeped in SOMETHING from the past (or might be going back to something in the past in some capacity). Past issues coming up that fuck with your identity, ego, individuation, etc. seem possible. Something to consider with this one is how you seek out attention, validation, etc. and to ask yourself if it still serves you (and does it serve ONLY you?). Aquarius, where the North Node is right now, is very collective-focused.
Look, Leo Energy can be fantastic and warm, but it can also be too loud and proud for it’s own good (the signs can express themselves in “good” ways, in “bad” ways, and in every shade of way in-between). As a real world example of this eclipse in play (because it does, I think, illustrate one of the ways that this energy could/can go) is the whole Steven Forrest showing his ass on the podcast with Ricky Williams by saying a racial slur. I get they were discussing “the shadow” when this word was said (and how racism can and certainly is part of the shadow for some), and that he wasn’t directly saying this TO Williams (who is a black man), but the word (which I’m sure as fuck not going to repeat here) didn’t need to be said. On top of this (all of which was already gross), when people reached out saying how much the word offended them, how hurt they were by his use of the word, etc., he offered an apology that seemed…well….not like an apology. I’m not sure if it was pride exactly that caused the lack of apology, but certainly something like it (or that’s the vibe that I got from watching this whole thing unfold). A comment was also made by him that was something along the lines of “this word is not appropriate to use any more” (that is NOT a verbatim quote – I can’t remember exactly what was said), which is a call back to the past (the South Node’s involvement with this eclipse and a pull back to the past, perhaps). This does beg the question of “WAS IT EVER FUCKING APPROPRIATE TO USE THAT WORD?!” No. I don’t think it ever was. Still though, a call back to the past seemed to occur. **Also, to add (which makes the whole thing even more disappointing and gross in general) – I don’t think SF is some kind of raging racist asshole. He (inexcusably) chose to say a really ugly word that hurts people, and never really appologized in any kind of meaningful way that didn’t center himself at helm of the apology. And this is a man who has read for people all over the world, from all walks of life, for 40 some-odd-years…meaning he KNOWS better (or SHOULD know better). So, like, WTF was he doing using that word?! In what world would that be okay AT ALL, in any context or situation?!
Honestly, this WHOLE thing grossed me out (and disappointed me) so much. Not only what happened and the lack of apology that followed, but also the responses from so many people which I watched and observed from the sidelines (and was grossed out by as well). THIS debacle is why I haven’t written about this eclipse until now and was absent from social media for the most part – sans reddit – for almost two weeks.
While I gave the example within the astrology community above, I have bared witness to similar themes come about for clients of mine in their own lives. The theme of someone who was/is important (either to them personally or in the sphere/world they “live”) doing something that causes the important person to show naked ass in a way that may not be flattering (to outright gross/disappointing/angering/etc.) for my client(s).
Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces on August 27 & 28, 2026
The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces does a different kind of thing. It feels like it could bring up thoughts of “where am I going (future-oriented notions with the North Node in Aquarius; this is a North Node eclipse) and “what am I doing” (or “what have I been doing?”) since the Moon in Pisces isn’t always super clear. Regardless of if you do know what you’re doing and/or where you’re going, I could see there being a “crisis” like moment which begs for clarification of things (or to make sure you actually DO know what you’re doing). **The “crisis” part comes up because Virgo energy, where the Sun falls during this lunation, can correlate with crisis. Actual crisis could be the case for some, but it’s also possible that it’s just the sense of not knowing where we’re going, or what we’re doing, that can be crisis-fuel all on it’s own.
Since this one hasn’t occurred (I’m writing this on August 22, 2026), I don’t have a real world example to give you as to how I watched it play out. But! Going with the theme of the the astrology community, I can hope that we (the astrology community) collectively move beyond everything that transpired during the Solar Eclipse. When I say “move beyond,” that in no way means not holding people accountable for shitty things they do (not at all). What I do mean is for us to take what we’ve observed and learned from all of the stuff that went down a couple of weeks ago and flow (Pisces) forward into the future (Aquarius) to create a better way forward. Not sitting and nit-picking on what was was done…because what is done is done. That doesn’t mean to forget it or to excuse it or anything like that, but to move beyond it. The North Node in Aquarius is wanting us to be future focused, and collective focused; to do what’s in the best interest of the collective.
For those of you not in the astrological community, this can be applied to other things (the astrology community example is just so fucking literal that I couldn’t help but tie it in). If there was a person (or group/situation/etc.) who acted in an entitled, bossy, loud, arrogant, etc. way during the Leo Solar Eclipse, you have a choice about what you do next. Do you hold on to whatever happened? Do you decide to let it go? Pisces energy, where this lunation takes place, is very much about forgiveness & surrender (among other expressions). A person can “forgive” and float on without forgetting (because to forget is a fucking fools game, in my opinion….and yes, I realize opinions are like assholes); these things are NOT the same.
Another thing this Lunar Eclipse brings up in my mind when I think about it is the Eight of Cups in Tarot (illustrated above from the Hermetic Tarot, The Light Seer’s Tarot, and the Prisma Visions Tarot). Not only because of the themes OF this eclipse, also because this card has an affinity for Pisces energy (and specifically the 1st decan of Pisces (ruled by Saturn)…which is where this eclipse takes place; 4° Pisces is in the 1st decan of Pisces). This card can mean lots of things depending on the question at hand and the other cards that come up along side it in a reading, but the general theme is one of walking away from what doesn’t serve you or from things that just aren’t good for you. Under this Lunar Eclipse, some of y’all might find that it’s best to just walk away completely from stuff lit up during the Solar Eclipse (in this case it makes no-nevermind if you forgive or forget; the goal is to just the get tf away from whatever). The detachment, if one goes this way, is very Aquarius North Node coded. In other cases, some of y’all might float on from what was illuminated without completely cutting ties with the person, place, thing, situation….yet not forgetting what transpired and moving forward to accommodate whatever different reality was presented to you (which is another way the Aquarius North Node influence’s could be seen).
I can’t tell any of y’all what to do in whatever kind of situation that you may find yourself during this eclipse, but, I can give some advice: -If there is something that, if you walked away from it, your life would be better, walking away is probably the way to go. -If there is something that, if you “forgave” whatever (not forget!), your life would be better, this is probably the way to go. -If where you are going or what you are doing isn’t clear (and sort of hits a “crisis” point, mini or major), it might be that something needs to be walked away from to lighten the load and/or clear the path forward into the future. It could also be that you’ve come much further than you think, and that you ARE more clear on what you’re doing and where you’re going (and this moment of “crisis” will pass). -Keep your eyes and mind on the future as much as you can, it’s where we’re all heading whether we want to or not. We can either get with the program (even if we’re not sure what the program is yet or the role we play in the program), or we can let the program leave us behind. We can also choose to leave the people, places, things, situations, etc. that don’t seem to be able to get with the program behind as well.
Astrosluts! Transit Jupiter in Leo begins on June 30, 2026 and is another of the planetary shifts that we will see take place throughout the year. Jupiter changing signs isn’t out of the ordinary since Jupiter will change signs roughly every 13 months (meaning damn near every year will see Jupiter change signs at some point). In saying that, though, it’s still a notable one to mention…especially alongside all the other astroweather going on this year.

What follows below are just some ideas for things that we might see come up on the collective stage in some kind of way (and it’s by no means an exhaustive list). How transit Jupiter in Leo plays out for YOU personally depends on what transit Jupiter in Leo is doing to your natal chart (so don’t take any of what follows as how you should expect your personal experience with this transit to transpire). As always, if you need any help looking at your chart, you can get a reading from me here 🙂. If you want to look at this on your own, you will want to pay attention to the house(s) that Jupiter will be transiting and the aspects that transit Jupiter will make to other planets in your chart. Another thing you can do is think back to what kinds of themes came up for you the last few times that transit Jupiter was in Leo. While the situations might be very different in the present day, a similar flavor of themes from the past might re-emerge. And if you’re wanting to learn this asto-language for yourself, the Star Cards are a fantastic astrological learning tool. **Also, to add – the transiting South Node will move into Leo on July 27, 2026 where it will be until March 26, 2026. Because the South Node will be in Leo (and, often, you want to skew the South Node in a more challenging direction), this makes me think that the challenging aspects of transit Jupiter in Leo might be likely to make an appearance. For this reason, I would be careful to take too much of the “love and light” shit people are sharing about transit before it even takes place. That doesn’t mean that it will be solely difficult, but I don’t think it will be this marvelous thing across the board.
💥That “feel good” feeling (?) – With Jupiter in Leo, it makes me think that there will be a *sliver* of some kind of “feel good” in the air. I realize that so much of the world is a fucking dumpster fire at the moment (and has been for a while), and this transit won’t do away with ALL of that by any means. But! This transit does make me think that there will be periods of time (collectively and individually, for some people more than others) where we may be able to see this sliver of “feel good” come through. –I want to make mention of the idea of experiencing that “feel good” feeling with so much nastiness in the world. There are a lot of people that might feel BAD (or guilty) if they were to “feel good” (even if fleetingly) while so much of the world is a shit show. Just because you feel good (should you feel good under this transit), it doesn’t mean that you turn your back (or a blind eye) on the rest of world’s suffering. With the world the way that it is, we HAVE to take our feel good wins/moments where we can/when we can.
💥Too much of a good thing? Watch indulgences! – To add on to the above, there can certainly be TOO MUCH (ahem….Jupiter, and also Leo energy 🤣) of a good thing with transit Jupiter in Leo. Take stock to make sure that you aren’t going overboard with things that feel good (and by “too much,” this would be something that you are taking to excess and it’s to your detriment). Another thing to watch for is being overly generous because both Jupiter and Leo can be incredibly generous by nature (which is a lovely quality). Make sure that whatever you are generous with is something that you can actually BE generous with.
💥Excessive Arrogance – A healthy amount of ego & confidence is a wonderful thing (and Leo energy functions best this way). Jupiter (which can be really fucking extra) could take this to excess and run with it. Interestingly enough, it was the last time that Jupiter was in Leo when the asshole-in-chief announced his candidacy for his first run for president (June 2015)….and that motherfucker seems to embody an excessive amount of arrogance. For some people that have confidence that skews towards the lower end of the spectrum, transit Jupiter in Leo might be the boost necessary to FEEL more confident (which can be fantastic in so many cases). For those that already HAVE a healthy amount of confidence, that confidence may need to be kept in check under this transit.
💥Understanding one’s identity, ego, and individuation – This is a fantastic way to work with this transit’s energy! Jupiter wants to understand things (along with assimilating the information it has been provided), and Leo energy is all about individuation & identity. Another way to work with this transit’s energy is by individuating your own understanding of things in general (it would get more specific than just “things” in most cases, but it would depend on your chart as to where to this plays out). Belief in one’s identity AND beliefs (of all kinds) becoming more individuated over the course of this transit also feel “hot” to me. **Important here with the South Node entering Leo in 2026 – understanding one’s identity & individuation is a big deal, but ALSO understanding where you as an individual fit into the collective is the other piece (since the North Node will be in Aquarius which is collective-focused…and is how we are moving forward). Before you can “contribute” to the collective, personal identity needs to be fleshed out first (or alongside).
💥 Expansive drama & theatrics – Lol this seems possible under transit Jupiter in Leo. On an individual level, watch how dramatically you respond to things that happen to you (asking yourself “is this really the end of the world?” and things like that when having an “extra” response to whatever; the good, the bad, and everything in-between). On the world’s stage, I think it’s very possible that we see people (and collectives) having dramatic and theatrical responses, taking dramatic & theatrical actions, and everything feeling like some kind of “show.” That doesn’t mean that “dramatic & theatrical” responses won’t ever be warranted; there are situations that probably do call for a dramatic or theatrical response (and in those cases this transit is there to take care of the rest). **While I don’t want to sit and make “predictions” about what exactly will take place under transit Jupiter in Leo, I do fully suspect world leaders, governments, and other people in “power” to put on quite the show during this period.

The world will see Transit Chiron in Taurus starting on June 19, 2026 (where it hasn’t been since April of 1984). Also interesting – Chiron was retrograde in Taurus at 3° when it was first discovered in 1977, so coming back to Taurus almost feels like a sort of “homecoming” for the asteroid/comet hybrid. What might this look like on a collective level, or even a personal one? Well….I have some ideas. But! Oh! And real quick (if you’d rather watch something about transit Chiron in Taurus rather than read…video incoming below):
Chiron represents both pain and wounding, along with “healing.” Wherever Chiron falls in a chart can show how one might be wounded (by sign) and where this wounding might take place (by house). At the same time though, it can also show how and where healing and restoration can take place. Personally, I don’t think Chiron is something that can ever be fully healed (that’s far too unrealistic for my realistic Capricorn Moon ass hahaha). More likely (and what I’ve seen play out in countless people’s lives), it’s a place in the chart that is wounded, then “healed,” then wash and repeat. This doesn’t mean it’s futile to “heal” the wounding; every time you work towards healing the pain/wounding, you restore parts of yourself (and that’s never all for naught). **For instance, Chiron falls in my natal 7th House in Gemini. Relationships of all varieties will ALWAYS (probably) be a source of wounding for me….even the most healing of relationships (or maybe that’s my own fucked up perception of such…per Gemini energy 🤣).
In transit, Chiron can show where (by house) and how (by sign) pain & wounding may take place for a period of time (and obviously any planets, etc. that transit Chiron makes an aspect with in a chart flesh the picture out further). This pain and wounding serve the purpose of showing us what may not be working so well for us to begin with, so that we can heal whatever it is.
When I think of Chiron in Taurus my mind goes to a few different things: -Surviving v. Thriving -Security v Insecurity (and Scarcity) -Comfort v Discomfort -Good Treatment v Mistreatment of the Physical Body -Wounding and Pain, along with healing, of values
Under the course of transit Chiron in Taurus, opportunities to see where we have been purely surviving seem that they could creep in. Taurus energy is THE survivalist, after all. However, while it is the survivalist, what it REALLY wants to do more than anything is to THRIVE (and when this energy thrives, it really shines). How do these opportunities come about? Probably in ways that shake personal foundations, making you realize that what you thought was secure and stable really was not, along with showing you where you were merely surviving. Is this wounding and/or painful? Absolutely could be. Should you find yourself in a situation (or situations) like this under this transit, focus your attention on THRIVING regarding what comes next. **Transit Chiron is Taurus is also coming on the heels of Uranus’ exit from Taurus and into Gemini. Uranus in Taurus shook up foundations for everyone, everywhere. Taurus strives for comfort and Uranus is like “fuck that shit.” It could be that Chiron’s time in Taurus is going to show us (on a collective and individual level) where we are just surviving from the fallout of Chiron in Taurus, while also showing us what we can do to heal what remains.
Taurus energy deals with nourishment and food (along with agriculture). As I’m writing this (in June 2026 a few weeks before Chiron enters Taurus), we are seeing food insecurity rise. Food prices have gone up a whole fuck-ton since the covid era and it’s getting more difficult for people to feed themselves and their families. Not only that, though – we’re seeing issues with the production of some foods and in other cases the writing is on the wall for these issues to come about (looking at you, screwworm, which could really fuck with the cattle industry and other forms of livestock). There does seem to be more of a push towards people growing and producing their own food in the past few years (hello Pluto in Aquarius!), and I think under transit Chiron in Taurus we will see an increase in such (either out of “want” or “need”). –The food thing also makes me really curious with the increase in people taking GLP-1’s (no judgment from me – people need to do what makes them happy and feel good). But! These drugs restrict appetite (and temper other things that have become “habit”)….and IF there were to be major issues with food production, these types of medications could be useful under such conditions. –Another thing to add on to the discussion of GLP-1’s and Chiron in Taurus themes: We are starting to see the body positivity movement step to the side just a lil’ with “skinny” coming back with a vengeance. Now, I’m ALWAYS for people doing what they want to do with their bodies and for people to have their bodies whatever shape and size they want them to be (whatever that might be). Since Taurus energy DOES have an affinity for the physical body, valuing and nourishing the body (regardless of size and shape) seems like the most healing way to go with this transit…whatever this looks like personally. Not being comfortable in our physical bodies, seeing ways that we’ve wounded them, and/or seeing what we need to do to heal them ALL seem possible with transit Chiron in Taurus.
The history slut in me has to bring up the fact that the last two times Chiron was in Taurus there was A LOT of financial and resource-based insecurity: *From 1926 through 1934 (rough dates) the world saw the Stock Market crash in 1929 and the Great Depression ravaged the United States (and a lot of the world). *From 1976 through 1984 (rough dates) we saw the oil crisis in 1979 which caused different recessions across the world.
Does this mean that we’re heading into another depression or recession? Maybe, if history echoes itself (and it so often DOES echo itself). Rather than predicting such (because I’m not looking to attract all that our way), I might encourage people to have their resources as right and tight as possible, and in a way that keeps their ass as covered on the backend. For some people, just the act of making sure their ass is covered on the backend is a healing experience (especially if the person happens to be the sort who wouldn’t normally function this way). This brings me to idea of Taurus’ affinity for “needful things” and the issue of “needs” v. “wants.” Could we see some major disruptions with things that are needed by people? It’s always possible, though this is a more extreme version of this transit (still needs to be mentioned, though). More likely, just general wounding and healing that involves the realization of what is a “need” v. what is actually a “want.” I put it that way because we can characterize things that are “wants” as “needs” …even if they aren’t truly “needs.”
While there are 3 earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn), Taurus energy has always felt very “Mother Earth” like to me. Thinking along those lines, and then tying in Chiron’s propensity towards wounding/pain AND healing, this does make me wonder about the state of the physical Earth under this transit. Not only in terms of things like natural hazards & disasters, but also things dealing with the “wounding” of earth’s natural resources (or the wounding that these natural resources cause). How can we heal this (or find healing through this)? Trying to be as kind to the Earth as possible seems like a good way to go (we all hurt the Earth in different ways so I’m not pointing fingers lol), but trying to be kind where you can be. There is also the idea of healing through the Earth (“grounding” exercises, taking a walk in nature to heal parts of yourself, etc.). Looking into healing the varied parts of yourself that have been wounded over the years by way of the natural world just feels “right” under this transit (alongside other healing modalities – no one take this as medical advice 🤣).
The last one, painful/wounded values and healing of those values, I’m still fleshing out (so much so that I didn’t mention it very much/for very long in the YouTube video I did on this subject 😂). This could look like a realization of how values that you hold are actually wounding to you in some way. It could also look like healing through the formation of values that actually matter to you (and perhaps values that seem to honor and value the person you are as well). Make no mistake though, this one seems incredibly important and is probably one that will impact everyone in some form or fashion (collectively and individually). While it seems that it has the propensity to impact everyone, it will impact everyone in different ways (based on the aspects Chiron in Taurus makes to natal planets, the house that Chiron in Taurus is transiting, etc.).
WTF is Electional Astrology (and how tf do you use it)?! Electional astrology (aka event astrology) is when an astrologer strives to find (or does find) the most auspicious date, time, and location for some event to take place. This practice has been around in some form since Babylonian times (16 BCE)…and still being used in practice today. Even though I have a good number of clients that have me cast electional charts for different life events, I have actually never written about THIS type of astrology, either (kind of like how I had never written about horary astrology until recently). Not only that, but the crime/forensic astrology charts that I’ve done (both by myself and with Brandy) are event charts (just not the “elected by the querent” kind). Something to keep in mind when using electional astrology to cast charts – THERE IS NO PERFECT CHART! This just simply doesn’t exist. While you might strive to find the “perfect” chart for some major event in your life, more than like you will need to settle for “good enough.” Sorry, that’s my Capricorn Moon and Saturn rising ass being realistic hahaha.
In order to play around with electional astrology, you do need to have a decent handle on the planets, houses, signs, and aspects in an astrology chart. Meaning this might not be the kind of astrology fuck with in a serious way if you don’t have a decent handle on such things. To help you with getting a handle on what the astrology chart says, keep this in mind: *Planets are WHAT energy is wanting/needing/”should” be expressed *Houses are WHERE/AREAS OF LIFE that energy is expressed through *Signs are HOW energy is expressed *Aspects tie the whole thang together
Some “Guidelines” for Electing Charts using Electional Astrology
The Moon ⭐️ For most things that you would want to elect a chart for in life, you want those things to go to “plan.” When the Moon is voc, it is less likely that things will go to plan (they can more easily “go off course”). There can also be a sort of “failure to launch” aspect with the Moon voc which tends not to be great for (big) life events. For instance, let’s say you wanted to start a business. If the Moon were voc at the time the business was started (when doors opened for business, when the business was incorporated, etc.), that could make it harder for the business to really “take off.” To check and see when the Moon is voc, here is a void of course Moon calculator from astro-seek. -There are times that it might benefit you to have the Moon voc (though they would be few and far between). If you have a feeling that you KNOW how some event will play out and you DON’T want it to play out that way, having said event take place under a voc Moon could be helpful. For instance, let’s say you have some civil court thing going on which you get to choose the time and date that it happens. Let’s also say that you have a feeling HOW this court thing will turn out and you don’t like the feeling you have about it. Setting the time and date (location would be wherever the courthouse is) for when the Moon is voc might actually benefit you in this scenario. ⭐️Electing a chart where the Moon isn’t harshly aspected (especially the square aspects) is a good thing to shoot for. Applying aspects between the Moon and other planets matter the most (once the Moon is separating from a planet, angle, etc., the less the square matters). ⭐️If you can get the Moon in the house (area of life) for which you are electing the chart, all the better. For instance, if you are electing a chart for the start of a business getting the Moon in the 10th House might be a good idea. If you are electing a chart for a marriage, getting the Moon in the 7th House (or even the 8th House) would be ideal.
Mars, Saturn, Uranus & Pluto ⭐️Under A LOT of contexts (though not all of them), you want to keep Mars and Uranus off of the major angles and out of the angular houses. Uranus can be disruptive (which isn’t usually ideal for major life events), and Mars can just poke & aggravate things (again, also not ideal for major life events). –For those unfamiliar, angular houses are the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th Houses in the chart. ⭐️Oftentimes it’s not great to find Saturn in an angular house (or conjunct one of the angles), either. I say “oftentimes” because this isn’t always the case. If the event that you’re casting the chart for requires a lot of solidity, structure, or any other sort of Saturnian expression (or something under the domain of Saturn), Saturn in an angular house/conjunct one of the angles may not be a “bad” thing. ⭐️Pluto is kind of a hit or miss in electional charts. Because Pluto is so transformative, if you are casting a chart for some event that you want to go off in a “calm” manner, Pluto conjunct the angles/in angular houses WON’T USUALLY provide that “calm” (it’s far too tumultuous). However, if it’s an event that needs a boost of evolutionary energy, Pluto can be very helpful on an angle/in an angular house.
Retrograde Planets ⭐️While I’ll “ride at dawn” for retrograde planets in a natal chart and most other astrology charts, electional charts are where they can get dicey for me. It’s likely that there will be at least one planet retrograde in any event chart (it is what it is), but it’s generally good practice to pick a time for the event (whatever event it is) where the chart ruler/planetary ruler of the Ascendant is DIRECT. Having a retrograde chart ruler tends to just make things more difficult. ⭐️Not only is it a good idea to have the chart ruler direct, but it’s also a good idea to have the planetary ruler of the house that has domain over the event direct as well. For instance, if you are starting a business, having the planetary ruler of the 10th House direct would be advised. ⭐️A good “rule” of thumb is to have Venus direct when getting married, proposing to someone, starting a relationship, etc. This is very general (and there are always outlier situations where Venus Rx wouldn’t matter much), but should AT LEAST be kept in the back of your mind. Since Venus deals with aesthetics and beauty, it’s typically advised to not have cosmetic procedures done or do any major changes to your appearance when Venus is Rx. Another thing like this deals with Mercury and having it direct for any event that is communication related, signing any kind of papers & documents, and things of that nature.
Looking at event charts from a retrospective lens can be really enlightening. This can show you what you want to see and don’t want to see when casting electional charts. The chart below (and declination table) are the time, date, and place for when two people got married.
Above we have Uranus and Mars in the 7th and 10th Houses (respectively). Ideally, you don’t want EITHER of these planets in the angular houses (and the 7th & 10th Houses are angular houses). The 7th House is the “marriage” house (among other things)….which having the great disrupter in this house doesn’t seem like it would bode well for a legal marriage (in most cases). Mars in the 10th House is conjunct the ruler of the Sagittarius 4th House (home & family), poised to aggravate home and family affairs (?). Jupiter is ALSO the traditional ruler of the Pisces 7th House, which feels like Mars would ALSO aggravate the legal marriage in general. Mars stands out even more since it is out of bounds. Mars out of bounds can be incredibly driven (which can be fantastic), but it can also be a mean son of a bitch (and it’s not something I would want to see in a marriage chart, ideally). Pluto is in the 4th House, which does stand out. LOTS of evolution at home, with family, and in the private spheres of life…but that really depends on how the two people “work” that evolution in any case. Pluto can also express intensity, depth, secrets, and can be just generally tumultuous. If Pluto can’t function at its highest vibrational capacity, it’s probably best to keep it out of the angular houses and/or off the major angles. Saturn is just chillin’ in the 2nd House which doesn’t bother me on its own. Even though the Part of Fortune isn’t something typically looked at in these charts, the close conjunction between it and Saturn does catch my attention. Since the PoF can be things that “befall” us, having Saturn (a planet that *can* limit, restrict, isolate, etc.) conjunct it seems like it could cause different challenges to befall the marriage (either over the WHOLE marriage or just on the wedding day).
The Moon isn’t void of course in this chart, but it IS applying in a square with the MC/IC axis (which I’m not crazy about). The Moon in Virgo is also in the 12th House which I’m really not crazy about seeing in the chart of two people getting married. Look, I’m a 12th House Sun myself – I’ll go to bat for the 12th House. However, because it IS a house that is where “unconscious” stuff goes/is and is a house that deals with grief and loss, this just doesn’t seem like the place to have the Moon. This chart has a Virgo Ascendant with Mercury Rx in Cancer as the chart ruler. **Speaking of the Moon, it’s parallel Uranus in this chart. This could make this marriage – both the day of the marriage and the marriage itself – more unpredictable than one might want a marriage (or their wedding day) to be.
There are a couple of other things in this chart that stand out even if they might not be considered by other people who cast electional charts. Chiron in Pisces conjunct the Descendant (from the 6th House) feels painful, like it could bring more pain than necessary to the marriage. Healing is *also* possible here (because Chiron DOES heal as well), but keeping Chiron off of the angles/out of the angular houses just seems like a good thing in this context. Another thing that is like a bright flashing sign is Venus in Leo square the nodal axis (and Venus being the ruler of the Taurus South Node). Venus wants to express “relationship” stuff (among other things), and having this square the nodal axis makes me think that there is SOME kind of “hang up” going on (either something that was going on when these two got married OR would be down the line in the marriage). Also, with the chart ruler Mercury Rx AND Venus as the ruler of the South Node, there is something about this chart that feels like it “goes back” too much; there just isn’t much “forward” motion, in my opinion. ——————-This marriage did not last; they ended up getting divorced———————-
Other Things to Consider with Electional Charts
Intercepted signs ⭐️Intercepted signs in the houses are possible since I use the Regiomontanus house system for event charts/electional charts (unless a client specifies otherwise, which I’m happy to oblige). Honestly, I don’t usually care much if signs are intercepted in an electional chart. While that signs energy IS easier to access if it’s not intercepted, there is a planetary ruler for which that sign’s energy CAN and WILL be able to flow through. The only time that intercepted signs “bother” me is when ALL of the planetary rulers of the signs intercepted happen to ALSO be intercepted in those signs as well. The reason for that is if the planetary rulers of the signs intercepted are also in the intercepted signs it can make it more challenging to access BOTH the sign and planetary energy (things don’t flow quite as easily). –For instance, let’s say you have Cancer intercepted in the 1st House and Capricorn intercepted in the 7thHouse (interceptions happen in pairs), and BOTH the Moon and Saturn are intercepted in Cancer. THIS would make it more challenging to access Cancer and Capricorn energy in the 1st and 7th House due to the planetary rulers of both being intercepted.
The Moon in detriment or fall ⭐️You know, there are times that I really don’t give a shit if the Moon is in detriment (Capricorn) or in fall (Scorpio) in electional charts. I know there are people who would disagree with this and that’s totally fine – we all do things our own way :). Luckily the Moon changes signs every couple of days so it’s usually easy enough to time some event for when the Moon isn’t in detriment or fall if this really bothers you (I have some clients that it does bother and I’m happy to respect that). This doesn’t automatically turn me off to a chart, though. If you are, say, starting a business (which is Capricorn territory), having the Moon in Capricorn *might* not be a bad place to find the Moon…especially if the Moon is making a bunch of really nice (applying) aspects to other things in the chart. ⭐️Kind of like with the retrograde planets, I would rather not see the Moon in detriment or fall if the Moon is the chart ruler (which would be the case if the Ascendant was Cancer).
Surgery ⭐️This needed its own section because it’s something that comes up often enough to mention. This part needs to be in all caps: IF YOU NEED SURGERY AND ITS LIFE OR DEATH (OR YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE IS GREATLY DIMISHED BY NOT HAVING SURGERY) PLEASE JUST GO GET SURGERY. Seriously. Don’t try to elect a good “time” for it – just go have the surgery. With saying that, if you are having electional surgergy/non-emergent surgery, etc., THIS is when you can elect a good time and date (setting the location for the hospital/city the hospital is in) for the surgery to take place. ⭐️Beyond the other things already mentioned about the Moon, it’s generally good practice to have surgery when the Moon is NOT in the sign that rules the part of the body having surgery. For instance, you might not want to have some kind of elective/non-emergent hip surgery when the Moon is in Sagittarius (since the hips fall under Sagittarius territory). ⭐️If you can avoid it, not electing to have surgery on a Full Moon is probably a good idea (or during either a lunar or solar eclipse). But….IF YOU NEED TO HAVE SURGERY AND IT’S DURING A FULL MOON (OR AN ECLIPSE), JUST GO HAVE SURGERY. ⭐️If you can avoid it, since Mars rules over sharp objects, knives and surgery, it’s probably best to NOT elect to have surgery under Mars Retrograde. Again though, IF YOU NEED TO HAVE SURGERY AND MARS IS RETROGRADE, JUST GO HAVE SURGERY.

Recently, declinations in astrology have come up a WHOLE bunch in different places in my professional life (questions from clients, podcast interviews/conversations, etc.); you name it, it’s probably come up there. So….WTF is Declination in astrology, anyway?! Declinations are the movements of the planets North and South of the celestial equator. The regular natal chart wheel that we are used to seeing measures longitude (2D) along the ecliptic while Declinations measure the planets latitude North and South of the celestial equator (which brings it into 3D). Declinations are another way of seeing where a planet is in space, and where the planet is relative to other planets. Here is a picture to illustrate what I’m talking about:
First! A few basic things! Question: How do you find the declinations of the planets in an astrology chart? Answer: You have to pull the table that lists the declinations! To do that (on free software), go to astro.com and enter your chart info/create your account. Assuming you have already done this, pull the chart wheel up. On this page you will see something that says “PDF” towards the top – click on it. Then you will see something that says “PDF Additional Tables” – click on it. The next page will say “planet positions;” go to the last column and you will see “Declinations.” **And if you would ever like to have me read for you (declinations or otherwise), you can get a reading from me by clicking here. Question: What can I do with declination? Why do I want this in my astrological toy box? Answer: You are able to see aspects and things in declination that add another layer/dynamic to chart weaving/reading. The kinds of things that I’m talking about are the parallel and contra-parallel aspects, and planets out of bounds (OOB). **The northern declination signs are Aries through Virgo. The southern declination signs are Libra through Pisces. Planets are at their highest northern declination in the signs of Gemini & Cancer. Planets are at their highest southern declination in the signs of Sagittarius & Capricorn. The higher the planet’s declination (north or south) the more likely the planet is go out of bounds.
You can have planets that are in a parallel aspect and contra-parallel aspect. The parallel aspect functions like a conjunction. Planets that are in a parallel aspect will both be North or both be South. For instance, someone with a planet that has a declination 14° N 21′ and another planet with a declination of 14° N 05′ would say those two planets are parallel. The contra-parallel aspect, on the other hand, functions like an opposition. Planets that are contra-parallel will have one planet north and one planet south. For instance, if someone has a planet at 14° N 21′ and another planet at 14° S 05′, those two planets would be contra-parallel. ***When planets in a chart are BOTH conjunct AND parallel, that makes this particular aspect REALLY STRONG in a chart (a “double whammy” if you will). Same thing can be said about planets that are BOTH in opposition and contra-parallel.
Table of longitude and declination of the planets from astrogold
In the table above, you will see that I have the declination of the Sun and Mercury circled in red, and a pinkish/purple line going from the declination of the Moon to the declination of Chiron. Both of these are examples of parallel aspects. Because the Sun and Mercury are conjunct one another via longitude (what we are used to seeing when we look at the degrees of the planets), the parallel aspect STRENGTHENS and EMPHASIZES this conjunction. The Moon and Chiron are NOT conjunct one another via longitude, but when looking at declination they ARE parallel. This means that they are more blended together (or fucking each other) like a conjunction than they might initially appear (and should probably be read that way, even as undercurrent). Essentially there is a high likelihood that this person may carry the same flavor with them that Moon conjunct Chiron (via longitude) people carry. **It’s not circled or whatever, but Venus’ declination is contra-parallel the declinations of the Moon and Chiron. This person has their natal Venus and Moon opposite one another via degrees of longitude which is STRENGTHENED and EMPHASIZED by the contra-parallel aspect in declination. The declinations also bring Chiron into the equation in a way that wouldn’t be seen without looking at the declinations.
Declination is where and when out of bounds (OOB) planets come into play. Any planet is considered OOB that has a declination of more than 23°26’28” North or South. The reason for that is the Sun’s maximum declination is 23°26’28″…meaning that any planet OOB is not under domain of the Sun and can give it the middle finger. The person above has both Mars and Jupiter OOB. Without going TOO much into things about this person, they can really DO whatever they want with that Jupiter + Mars conjunction in Capricorn since those planets can function in whatever way they want. This has both been used to their benefit and to their detriment at different times in their life. **It’s really important that when a planet is OOB that the person taps into the highest possible expression of the planetary energy of the planet (in whatever sign it happens to be in). Because the planet can function basically however the hell it wants to function, if it’s functioning at a lower vibrational expression the planet can do a lot of damage. OOB planets very much feel like the quote “with great power comes great responsiblity.” Wield it wisely.

The Virgo solar eclipse takes place on September 21, 2025 at 2:54 pm central when the transit Sun and Moon will both be at 29° Virgo conjunct the South Node. The eclipse taking place at 29° is a major feature, considering 29° is the anaretic degree. There is also a beautiful (out of sign) kite aspect pattern in the chart, along with some galactic activations. Suffice to say there is A LOT going on with this one.
What follows are some possible themes of the Virgo solar eclipse that may come up for you as an individual (or for the collective). How this actually plays out for YOU personally depends on what this astroweather is doing to your personal astrology chart. Take into consideration the houses that it falls and any planets/angles/etc. that it aspects. Also! real quick (just basic info): -Lunar Eclipses take place during Full Moons –Keywords for Full Moons: Illumination, Culmination, Release – Solar Eclipses take place during New Moons –Keywords for New Moons: Planting Seeds, Setting Intentions, New Beginnings -Eclipses tend to be wild & unpredictable. Expect the unexpected. **This is a South Node Eclipse since the Moon is conjunct the South Node. This means that one probably has to “go back” in some capacity in order to move forward.
What does the anaretic degree (29°) mean? You will read a whole bunch of different things about a planet at 29° of a sign, but I tend to think of this degree as both “tired” but can’t rest just yet (it still has shit to do). It’s kind of like this – you get home from a trip, and you have ALL of your bags to unpack and put away (let’s also say your house is a mess, too, to illustrate the point further). All you want to do is sit on the couch and relax, but you see all the stuff around the house that needs to be done to make the house more livable. THIS is a perfect illustration of 29° of a sign. ALL it wants to do is rest and relax, but it can’t rest and relax until it has finished everything that it needs to do.
There is so much power and change that is possible under this eclipse with the (out of sign) kite between the eclipse, Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, and Neptune in Aries/Saturn in Pisces as the tail. This means that all the things started under this eclipse need to ultimately serve the purpose (Virgo energy is service and purpose focused) of moving towards the future (with the transit North Node ALSO in Pisces), dissolving boundaries/structures that don’t need to exist….so that dream building can (eventually) occur. For a lot of you, what you put in place right now matters (even if nothing big feels like it happens).
Under this eclipse I wouldn’t be too concerned about making plans that you are rigid about sticking with. That doesn’t mean that you don’t make ANY plans at all (you SHOULD), but they need to be adjustable. Having an outline is probably good enough. Focus may also be a thing – overactive focus or underactive focus. Try to focus on what DOES have your attention if you can (unless your focus is all over the place, my guess is that something WILL have your focus….and there is probably a reason for that).

The Past Because this is a South Node eclipse, there probably is a strong pull to the past in some capacity. Setting things “right” and/or “correct” that may not have been done “right” and/or “correct” to begin with seems like a possibility. Cleaning things up that need to be cleaned up (or, even, clearing up things that need to be cleared up). All of above are very Virgoan in nature. **There might also be a sense of it being the “last time” that you can start something Virgo-like in nature due to the anaretic degree’s involvement with this eclipse. It doesn’t matter if it’s the actual last time you’re able to start something or not- that “last chance” feeling may exist regardless.
Coming Down to Earth Was anything illuminated for you under the lunar eclipse in Pisces? Anything that was released but maybe it’s sat in limbo-land for a week or so? Have you been trying to figure out what to do with what was released, or what to do with what was illuminated? The Virgo solar eclipse is the perfect time to DO something with anything that may have come up. Bringing these things that were illuminated or released down to earth to do something with them in real life seems like a great way to work with this eclipse energy. **What needs to come down to earth may or may not be entirely pleasant for you. Tedious and taxing are the words that come to mind should what needs to come down to earth not be pleasant (like, you might find it tedious or taxing or something like that). Because Virgo energy can also be anxious and nervous (and there is a little bit of this with the anaretic degree as well – knowing that it has shit to get done), there could be some anxiety and nervousness surrounding bringing whatever may need to come down to earth, down to earth. Should this exist, I think there is even MORE anxiety and nervousness if you chose NOT to translate whatever down to earth.
The Little Things For some of y’all, the small things (the details) that happen now are actually BIG things. This may or may not be realized at the time of the eclipse (sometimes this kind of thing is best seen from a retrospective lens). Like, maybe under this solar eclipse you make some kind of small change to your daily life. This could be a habit that you decide to break, a ritual you decide to incorporate – there are several Virgo-esque possibilities afoot. You may not realize it until down the line that whatever (small) thing you do now impacts you in big ways down the line.
Effort & Work (where and where not to put in that effort & work) Virgo energy is all about work and putting in effort. You might find that under this eclipse there are things that you decide that you want to put the work and effort into. Maybe they are things that you’ve wanted to do for a long time but never did before. Maybe it’s something that you used to put effort and work into “back in the day” and now you want to put that effort and work into again. Maybe it’s not even about putting in effort and work, but that you STOP putting in effort and work towards something that you don’t need to put effort and work into. Regardless of what it is, or what it looks like, I could see this sort of thing come up for some of y’all.
Crisis Point Reached While I don’t mind this eclipse overall (I didn’t mind the Pisces lunar eclipse, either), some of y’all might reach some kind of “crisis point” (Virgo energy has a correlation with the notion of “crisis”). This may or may not be anything major (remember, Virgo energy DOES also deal with the details & the little things!), but there could be some kind of crisis (or mini-crisis) reached with this lunation. I almost get the sense that if there IS a crisis of some sort it probably has something to do with having to make a decision about something (and, maybe, not being sure what to do). I make that last comment because of Mars at 29° Libra (also an anaretic degree!) which means Mars will know it needs to do something but might not know WHAT to do….or even want to make a choice in the first place. **The Virgo solar eclipse features some galactic activations with the conjunction it makes to the Super Galactic Center at 2° Libra (and Mars at 29° Libra conjunct the Shapley Attractor at roughly 2° Scorpio). The eclipse’s conjunction to the SGC could make taking action more difficult (the SGC seems like a place where a person can sit on the fucking fence for too long); luckily I think the 29° Sun & Moon might be enough to get something to happen (it’s not going to be able to “relax” until something is done). Mars conjunct Shapley makes me think that inaction will attract situations that force a choice to be made or an action to be taken (so it’s probably better to take action on your own rather than be forced to take it).
A little tiny bit of STORYTIME to illustrate this eclipse – A few days after the Virgo solar eclipse I will be going to the social security office to legally change my last name. I didn’t time it this way (swear I didn’t 🤣!), this was just the soonest appointment the local social security office could get me in for the name change (and it happens to be right after the eclipse). This might seem like a small thing (even tedious and/or mundane – fucking around at the social security office 😂), but it’s MASSIVE to me. My South Node at 0° Libra, Midheaven at 28° Virgo, and the asteroid “Adams” at 29° Virgo are all conjunct this eclipse. Because of the things in play in my own chart, it feels a little like this eclipse serves as the baton pass between the “old way” and the “new way”. This seems backed up further when I consider that the asteroid for Burck is conjunct Mercury in my chart (Mercury is the ruler of my Virgo MC). While I know what my name will be on all my legal documents, there has been a tiny bit of “crisis” as to what I am known as professionally (and I’ve been pouring over the details for the past few months). Since the start of my business, Adams has been my last name, and while I am not sorry to see it go I do know that it can throw people (and searches) off when name changes take place. So….it’s been a mental process for me, ironing out the details (which are still NOT all the way ironed out). **Funny enough (and what beautiful timing!) – As I was typing this post I saw that an interview I did a month ago JUST went live (I didn’t think it would be live so soon 🤣). Because of this sometimes I will forgo talking about them/writing about them at all and just pretend they aren’t happening lol. However, even though this one IS square a bunch of stuff in my own chart….it really doesn’t bother me. Dare I say I might even LIKE this one? Even though I’m still (probably) going to find it personally annoying (hahahaha), from a collective lens it seems & feels nice.

Expect the unexpected. -This is a North Node eclipse (transit Moon in Pisces conjunct the North Node), meaning collectively and individually we are having things illuminated that are occurring to push us forward. Same thing could be said about things that come to culmination and things that need to be released
Some themes that might come out to play under this eclipse energy:
1) RELEASE Releasing is something that Pisces energy does (a way that it may express itself). Are there things that you are feeling called to release? Because we are talking about eclipse energy the things that might be illuminated to be released might be things that you aren’t expecting. Or maybe there are things that you’re expecting to release, but how they are released (how it is illuminated that they need to be released might be a little different than “planned”). If you know that there are things that you are wanting to release, this eclipse energy can be pointed towards this direction.
2)DREAMS & the UNCONSCIOUS Pisces energy can express itself in a dreamer sort of way. The kind of dreams that Pisces energy deals are the sort that feel SO unrealistic or unattainable. But are they REALLY unrelastic and unattainable? Well, maybe sometimes 🤣 I won’t bullshit you. However, there is something about this lunation that makes me think of dreams being illuminated (perhaps even some that one keeps unconscious). Luckily, we have the Sun in Virgo (and Mercury in Virgo, where Mercury is exalted) to help bring these things down to the real world. **Also, about dreams (and sleeping) – some of y’all might feel extra tired under this eclipse (they can be energy suckers). Listen to your body (which is very Virgoian) and rest if you need it. On the flip side of that, some of y’all might not feel like you CAN sleep. Sleep seems like it gets fucked with, lol. Some of y’all might find that you’re dreaming more than you normally do. Take note of the things that are revealed in dreams under the lunar eclipse energy. There might be something to do in the physical world with those dreams.
3) SPIRIT COMMUNICATION This particular one might not be for “everyone,” but if you are someone who is inclined to receive messages from spirit (or is aware that you are receiving messages from spirit – I think we ALL have this ability but not everyone believes or acknowledges it) it seems like this eclipse might be “busy” with this kind of activity. And because the Sun and Mercury are in Virgo, there is a direct line right now down to the real world for spirit to come through. **The Virgo/Pisces axis deals a whole bunch with the real/physical world (Virgo) and….whatever else exists beyond that (Pisces). Virgo doesn’t get the credit necessary (imo) as the translator for what Pisces is able to sense.
4) SENSITIVITY, EMPATHY, and COMPASSION Pisces energy is incredibly sensitive, as well as compassionate & empathetic. Ways that you “should” be more compassionate could be illuminated. Ways that you need compassion might also come through as well. The Moon is trine Jupiter (the traditional ruler of Pisces) in Cancer during this event, allowing for all of the above to flow through easily. The Sun and Mercury in Virgo can translate this down to Earth, making it clear how to be of service with this empathy, etc. and even how you might need to be “served.”
5) CONFUSION Yeah….any time you get a lunation in Pisces, you could very easily be looking at confusion and shit that doesn’t make sense (because Pisces energy can be a messy bitch 🤣). Take any “confusion” or the feeling of being between two worlds….and do something creative with it. Another thing you can do is mentally retrace your steps. By this I mean if you happen to get really confused for seemingly no reason, or you start feeling messy (with no creative outlet in sight!), think back to what you were doing when you started to feel confused, messy, etc. Could whatever you were doing right before that have anything to do with why you feel confused, messy, etc. now? Getting down to the details of things which the Sun in Virgo will appreciate. …..Or you can create goofy shit that makes no sense like THICC PIKACHU representing this eclipse 🤪
How does this one play out for you personally? This depends so much on your own astrology chart. Look to see what houses this lunation takes place – this will give you an idea of what areas of life it will play out through (houses in the chart = WHERE things happen or “areas of life”). Also! Make sure to consider any aspects that this eclipse is making to planets in your chart (because this will impact things as well).

This year, in 2025, the world will see a bunch of changes in planetary energy (which translates to things feeling different Earth-side). One of the big collective transits that will take place is the conjunction between transit Saturn & Neptune in Aries. Not only does this NOT happen very often (roughly every 36 years), but BOTH of these planets will have just moved into Aries when this takes place (meaning there is a whole bunch of “new” with this one).
Let’s start this off with some dates and thaaaangs: -Transit Saturn & Neptune conjunct one another in Aries (but not exact…yet!) from May 25, 2025 through September 1, 2025 -Transit Saturn & Neptune fuck each other (exactly!) in Aries on February 20, 2026 -Neptune has an orbital period of 164-years. It spends roughly 13 years in a sign -Saturn has an orbital period of roughly 29 years. It spends 2.5 years in a sign -Last time that transit Saturn & Neptune were conjunct one another was in 1989 in the sign of Capricorn. Before that, this conjunction took place in 1953 in Libra.
Expectations (Neptune territory) also come up when I think about Saturn and Neptune coming together. Specifically, I think of “lowered expectations” or “limited expectations” because of Saturn. Is this a bad thing? No. I don’t think it’s a bad thing necessarily to lower expectations…. especially considering how the world seems to be functioning now-a-days. Does this mean that you cease to have any expectations? No, it doesn’t. But, if we lower our expectations it is harder to be disappointed (and again, with the state of the world anymore, I don’t think that’s a bad thing). While I made mention in the first post about this subject that this conjunction can give the ability to dream build (and I do think that’s the case – I’m not totally negative here 🤣), I also think there is SOMETHING as well about lowering/limiting expectations (and this tying into the dream building). Like, if you lower/limit your expectations, it does allow a release for some of the pressure that might come along while actively building your dreams (whatever that might be). Aries energy can be “ass on fire” and “pressuring” (and Saturn can be “pressing,” lol) so the Neptunian release is very useful here.
Authority/government subversion and weakness seems like another possible thing (along with the government/those in authority acting subversively themselves against some kind of leadership, along with the government/authority being weakened in some way). Authority and government are Saturnian expressions while subversion, weakening/weakness are Neptunian expressions, and leadership is Aries energy. There is historical precedent to what I’m saying – in 1989 we saw plenty of this stuff. All across eastern Europe (countries that were behind the Iron Curtain), countries saw their governments fall apart due to being weakened and even government subversion in some cases. Now, this was going on in Capricorn in 1989, which, while Capricorn is resilient energy, it doesn’t fight in the same way that Aries energy puts up a fight. This makes me think that any governments we see showing signs of falling apart (whether literally or figuratively), those governments/people in authority are NOT going to go down without a massive firefight. –We are already seeing ripples of this across the world as I’m writing this in mid-June 2025.
Toxins are something that I keep thinking about in relation to this conjunction. Neptune has domain over toxins….but so does Saturn. I started thinking about the different plants that Saturn has rulership over for a completely unrelated reason (a lot of which are toxic), which got me to thinking about Saturn and toxins. Sure enough, the Rulership Book has BOTH Saturn and Neptune listed next to “toxins, that which is toxic, toxemia & toxic complaints” (Pluto and Scorpio are also listed). Now, we all know that there are so many toxins in the world around us. These can be found in the air that we breathe, in the food that we eat, etc. (especially here in the US – this might not be as much of an issue in other parts of the world). This really gets me thinking about the different ways that the self (Aries) comes into contact with these toxins on an everyday basis and what we might realize about toxicity in general under this conjunction. In 1989, the last time that transit Saturn and Neptune were conjunct one another (in Capricorn), the Toxic Release Inventory was established. This required certain types of manufacturing and industry to report the chemicals & toxins that were released into the environment. In 1953, the second-to-last time that transit Saturn & Neptune were conjunct one another (this time in Libra), the first poison control center was set up in Chicago (because so many children were ending up poisoned by, what seems like, the world around them). So…I guess the good thing about this particular conjunction is that it does seem to be a catalyst for things changing regarding toxicity in our environment/becoming more aware of such things (both on a collective and personal level). But it’s how much toxic shit is found that is concerning (or that could be found). –To kind of add on to the idea of toxicity with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, I have to wonder if not only we will be tasked with facing the different toxins in the environment, but also facing ways that we have been toxic to ourselves (again, since Aries energy deal with “the self”). This could be ways that we have literally introduced ourselves to toxins, but also ways that we ourselves can be toxic (this could take place on both an individual and/or collective level).
The idea of “real fake(s)” (or some kind of blending of “real” and “fake”) appears to be on the agenda. What do you consider to be real, and what do you consider to be fake? And not even what you consider to be real and fake – what the hell do the concepts of “real” and “fake” mean, anyway? The lines are blurring all over the place! Saturn deals in what’s real (and reality) while Neptune deals with what’s fake (and stuff like that). When I think about this particular element of Saturn conjunct Neptune my mind goes to AI (which has exploded in the past few years). Do I think we will see even more energy behind this….AI things that blur the lines between the real and unreal (almost to the point that we can’t even tell the fucking difference anymore)? Yeah, I do. If it doesn’t matter to you personally if something is real or fake, then this won’t be a problem for you (not everyone gives a shit about this). If you are the kind of person that the possibility of this bothers then start educating yourself on the “tells” (because AI does have tells that give away something was AI created). –There is also the notion of creative (Neptune) excellence (Saturn) that comes up for me, too. While there is a massive benefit to AI (definitely NOT knocking it), we are also seeing AI replace human creative excellence at an exponential rate (or what feels that way to me). Instead of people writing things themselves they are having chatGPT or whatever write it for them. Instead of people creating their own works of art they are having Midjourney do it for them…this is the kind of shit I’m talking about. I almost wonder if down the line human creative excellence (such as the things that people create) will be worth more than their AI counterparts. That would be WAY down the line, though (probably)…..especially the more intellectual property issues that come up with AI (and I’d bet a little money that this will be a thing). –Reality might also continue to be stranger than fiction under this transit…which would follow suit with how the world has been the past 10 years. Though, with this going on in Aries, it might have a whole bunch of oomph behind it.
Unhappiness hitting a sort of breaking point also seems like something that could be involved with Saturn conjunction Neptune (as the concept of “unhappiness” is considered under the domain of Saturn and the 12th House; 12th House has an affinity for Neptune energy). Now, that’s not to say that everyone is going to be unhappy under this particular transit – that would be ridiculous to say. However, there is much going on in the world at large that could make a person unhappy, and with this transit going on in Aries it’s not going to be people just bitching about what makes them unhappy but actually DOING something about what makes them unhappy. The “doing something” or action could be a really good thing individually and/or collectively, but it could also be a really bad thing individually and/or collectively. From an historical perspective, we saw this same kind of thing happen when the Saturn & Neptune conjunction happened in 1989 in Capricorn with the Tiananmen Square Massacre (Chinese students (among others) tired of the government’s bullshit and ending up massacred). –We are already seeing this come about in the US right now (minus the massacre part). This weekend (as I’m writing this) there have been several protests in different cities with people making it known loud and clear how unhappy they are with the state of things in the US and how unhappy they are with Trump’s policies. I imagine that once Uranus enters Gemini (making a mini-trine between Pluto in Aquarius and Saturn/Neptune in Aries) in a few weeks we will see even more action like this (maybe about different things, but action none-the-less). While I am giving a US current-event example here, this isn’t just a US thing – I would expect to see this kind of thing pop up all over the world.
On December 6, 1991 in Austin, Texas, shortly before midnight a police officer on patrol noticed the “I Can’t Believe it’s Yogurt!” shop off of W. Anderson Lane going up in flames and called it in to the fire department, to which AFD arrived and put the fire out. Once the fire was out, AFD noticed that there was much more to all of this than just a run of the mill fire – they found the bodies of four females inside the shop. The victims were Amy Ayers (13 years old), Eliza Thomas (17 years old), and sisters Sarah Harbison (15 years old) & Jennifer Harbison (17 years old). All four had been shot execution style and piled on top of each other, though Amy’s body was found away from the other three – the bullet missed her brain (they found a second bullet wound in her head which the other girls were lacking) which seems to suggest that she moved herself from the pile. Eliza Thomas & Jennifer Harbison were employees of the yogurt shop, while Sarah Harbison and Amy Ayers were said to be visiting Sarah’s sister at work (and they were going to get a ride home with her). These murders have haunted the city of Austin for over 3 decades and have come to be known as the Yogurt Shop Murders.
There were so many fuckups with this case – so, so many. I’ll link some articles below if you want to read about this case in further depth (since the case is long at nearly 30 years old at this point, I won’t be covering all of the history here). APD was already starting with a fucked crime scene since AFD had to put the fire out (this isn’t their fault – the fire fighters had no idea they would find four bodies in the aftermath of the fire) – and as far as I’m concerned, APD’s biases and just wanting SOMEONE to hang for this crime fucked the case further.
Two men ended up going to prison for this – Michael Scott (who was essentially coerced into confessing – a picture of Scott having a gun held to his head during the 18-hour interrogation by some piece of shit detective that worked for APD showed up online) and Robert Springsteen confessed to these murders. This was 8 years after the murders occurred in September 1999, though these men were on APD’s radar in the early years of the investigation…and it’s like APD just couldn’t let them go – even though there wasn’t any forensic evidence actually linking these guys to the crime. Both Scott and Springsteen were convicted of these murders (in 2002 and 2001 respectively), with Scott getting a life sentence and Springsteen being sentenced to death. In June 2009, both men were released on bond from prison, and in October 2009, both men had the charges against them dropped and they were exonerated. The reasons for such had to do with the coerced confession, the lack of DNA evidence (there was DNA found at the scene that didn’t match either of these men), and the major one – Scott and Springsteen’s confessions were used against one another at their trials which was found to violate the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment.
So, nearly 30 years later, the families and the city as a whole still have no idea who actually committed this particularly heinous crime – snuffing out the lives of 4 teenage girls whose lives hadn’t even really had the chance to begin yet feels particularly tragic and unnecessary. And I guess this is where myself and people who engage in this kind of astrology come into play … to try to give answers to events that are long overdue for fucking answers.
Since we only know the exact date and that the fire was called in shortly before midnight, I set the chart to 11:45 pm on December 6, 1991. Why 11:45? I don’t know, honestly it’s just the time that I felt instinctually inclined to use as far as when the fire was probably called in by the patrolling officer. A picture of the event chart is found below:
The first thing I notice about this chart is that the chart ruler is Mercury Rx! This stands out because this WHOLE CASE was handled so fucking poorly from the start, and just feels very Mercury Rx in nature. WAY too much BULLSHIT NOISE (which Mercury Rx is known for) across the board. The next thing that stands out to me obviously are the angles (which is what you should always look at first when reading a chart this way).
The Victims – Ascendant @ 7° 28′ Virgo The Victims are always indicated by the Ascendant and the chart ruler (in this case, the chart ruler is that Mercury Rx I mentioned before in Sagittarius in the 4th House). By dispositions, you would then go to Jupiter (since it rules Sagittarius) in the 1st House in Virgo conjunct the Ascendant. That means that Mercury and Jupiter go back and forth in a mutual reception (or what feels like back and forth) – so there is no final dispositor for the girls’ side of things but instead the mutual reception between the two. Also, it should be noted that Mercury Rx and Jupiter are in an applying square aspect between one another (it would be applying here since Mercury is moving retrograde/backwards), making it a more insidious square aspect. It should also be noted (which I will talk more about in the Perps section) that Jupiter is the traditional ruler of the Descendant, which makes Jupiter one of the representations OF the perp/perps in this case. This makes this particular square aspect even more insidious since we see tension between the victims and the perp(s), moving closer together in motion.
With the chart ruler in the 4th House, this makes me think that the girls were comfortable and familiar with where they were when this happened, in the Yogurt Shop. I almost get the feeling that the perp/perps were patrons of the shop earlier in the night and came back right before closing at 11 pm, claiming that someone had left something in the shop (a wallet, a pager, a passport or something, perhaps?). The chart being ruled by Mercury RX makes my mind go this way. I also think this patron, or these patrons (and I’m inclined to think that there IS more than one perp here) were people that Jennifer Harbison and Eliza Thomas had served in the store before (or at least ONE of the perps were known to at least ONE of these two girls as someone who came to the shop somewhat often). Harbison and Thomas, one or both of them, didn’t feel threatened by this person (or these people) normally – though all the girls were clearly in more danger than they would’ve thought since Mercury happens to be “under the Sun’s beams” in this chart (Sun & Mercury are within 3-degrees of one another and moving closer together with Mercury being Rx which can indicate the victim(s) being in immediate danger). I have this feeling that they let this person/these people into the shop shortly before closing (hell, maybe this was even AFTER they’d locked the doors and closed up shop) to retrieve this item that was claimed to have been left behind. Once inside, this person/these people attacked, probably surprising the fuck out of them. Another possibility might be a door in the back having been left unlocked on accident (forgotten about, as how Mercury Rx can function – or even NOT forgotten about but just unlocked for the purpose of carrying out closing duties like taking out the trash, etc.), leaving them vulnerable to someone attacking them once they’d closed the shop for the night. I could even see a mix of the two occurring – a patron Harbison and/or Thomas knew comes (back) to the store shortly before or after closing claiming they left something behind in the store (from earlier that day or even some other day – wanting to search the stores “lost and found”). The girls let this person in – they know him as a patron and aren’t concerned. In the meantime, someone comes into the back of the shop (through a back door or some shit that was left unlocked) to keep the girls from escaping once they realized that the person up front wasn’t there to retrieve anything.
The Perpetrator(s) – Descendant 7° 28′ Pisces
In these kinds of charts, the perpetrator(s) are indicated by the Descendant. We are talking about a Pisces Descendant, which makes this chart have TWO planetary rulers for the perp(s), Jupiter by traditional rulership and Neptune by modern rulership (though I will say that since this crime occurred at night, I would give Jupiter a little more weight here). Jupiter falls in Virgo in the first house conjunct the Ascendant, which means that this perpetrator surprised the girls with his actions in a big way (probably by drawing some weapon they weren’t expecting once he was in the shop) and was up in their space. From there by way of dispositions we go to Mercury in the 4th in Sagittarius (since Mercury is the planetary ruler of Virgo), which will then dispose of itself back to Jupiter in Virgo in the mutual reception mentioned in the Victim’s section.
**With Jupiter being opposite the Descendant, I’m thinking that we’re dealing with someone much more deliberate than he appeared to them normally – he may have appeared more harmless, maybe a little spacey normally (perhaps like he wasn’t always “on Earth”). I actually think this perp is someone who was probably college aged at the time, and maybe it’s Jupiter’s influence, but I’m thinking they may have attended a religiously affiliated university. Here in Austin, St. Edwards University and Concordia University come to mind, though with Pisces on the Descendant we might be dealing with someone who actually went to school somewhere else – there could be a foreign element at play here, too, or they could’ve just been a transplant to Austin. The foreign element could make them an actual foreigner as well. With Jupiter in Virgo, it makes me think of someone pretty tall and lanky. Jupiter tends to indicate something “big” about the person, but here this feels more height related than anything else.
Even though I would give Jupiter more weight as the main Descendant ruler in this case, I still want to look at Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces. Neptune falls in the 5th House in Capricorn. Perhaps it is common sense (it does seem like to corral 4 girls you would need to have at least two people involved in the crime), but it’s also the dual nature of Pisces that makes me think two perpetrators (this isn’t universal with a Pisces Descendant, but fuck, I feel it here). I feel like Jupiter is representative of one perp, and Neptune is representative of the other. The second perp – I have to wonder if this person had some kind of addiction issue. Pisces on the Descendant definitely plays into this train of thought, for sure, but so does Neptune falling in the 5th House (the 5th House is, like, the pleasure house, among other things). It’s in Capricorn, which almost makes me think of someone who represses some kind of addictive urge until they just can’t anymore. This could be an addiction to anything, though with the ruler of the 7th in the 5th House, and something sexual in nature being a hallmark of this disposition (and there was evidence that one of the girls had been raped), I’m almost wondering if this Neptune in Capricorn person was a serial rapist (or at the very least, this wasn’t their first rodeo with rape), or some other kind of sexual deviant. Supposedly the police found the motive to be “robbery,” but I’m gunna go on out here on a limb and say I think the motive of this crime was really for the person signified by Neptune in Capricorn to “have a good time” (though I don’t think this was necessarily the motive of the Jupiter in Virgo person). Next in line with the dispositions is Saturn in Aquarius (since Saturn is the planetary ruler of Capricorn), also in the 5th House, which kind of reinforces that this person wanted to have a good time and have a weird kind of control over the girls (or that is how it feels to me here). From here you would go to Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, which also falls in the 5th House in Capricorn. This is where this chain of dispositions stops since it would bounce back to Saturn in Aquarius, being part of the mutual reception between both planets. -I have the feeling that the actual brains behind this whole thing was probably the person represented by Neptune in Capricorn. I actually don’t think the Jupiter in Virgo person knew exactly what the plan was when they surprise attacked the girls (maybe this person just thought it would be a robbery) – but the Neptune in Capricorn person had other plans…and the Jupiter in Virgo person didn’t resist them. The Jupiter person just feels more out of the loop to me, and I don’t think they were really in any control – though I do think they were absolutely how the Neptune in Capricorn person got their foot in the door.
The 5th House has even more importance here than just being where one of the rulers of the descendant falls – in crime charts when you’re dealing with victims who are underage (I tend to look at victims under 16 as being part of this house), you want to look at the 5th House and its rulership since the 5th House tends to also represent children. The 5th House has Capricorn on the cusp, which makes its planetary ruler Saturn in Aquarius. This makes me feel like the girls felt powerless to what was going on around them. Saturn in Aquarius would then dispose of itself to Uranus in Capricorn (where they would go back and forth in a mutual reception in the 5th House). You could technically stop with Saturn in Aquarius (since Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius), but I like to look at BOTH traditional and modern rulership.
**This part is pure visualization, but as I was typing all of this up, I envision someone banging on the shop door/windows after they’d closed up shop for the night. This person was known to at least one of girls that worked there and seemed frantic yelling through the glass that they thought they forgot something in the store (earlier that same day/night or even a day or two earlier). Since Mercury Rx feels so important to the overall tone of the chart, beyond just representing the victims, I have to wonder if they were yelling about forgetting a pager in the store or something like that (it was 1991 after all and I’m thinking that something communication related may have been involved), or even a driver’s license (since Mercury deals with cars and transportation). Other things that seem likely are something Jupiter related – maybe a textbook or something along those lines, or even something like a passport. Whether this item correlates more with the Mercury or Jupiter (or even both) doesn’t really matter. I do think something along these lines transpired. I also think that the girls had been doing their nightly closing routine of taking out the trash and all that shit, and probably left the back door unlocked as they were doing this. If something like this happened, it would’ve given the other perp the opportunity to sneak in the back door and hide in the back of the store. After the perp got inside that claimed to have forgotten something, he probably pulled a weapon on the girls, and they really weren’t expecting this. Some of them probably tried running to the door at the back of the shop, where they were surprised by the second perp lying in wait who was then able to corner them further. **
The I.C/4th House @ 5° 54′ Sagittarius and the Moon @ 26° 42′ Sagittarius
The 4th House ruler and the 4th House in general is also something you want to look at in these charts. The Moon is another planet that you always want to look at in charts like these, for it operates as co-ruler. In this chart, the Moon is in Sagittarius in the 4th House loosely conjunct Mercury (and by proxy, the Sun). Something like the Moon falling in the 4th House backs up the notion that the girls were in familiar surroundings and comfortable at the Yogurt Shop. The Moon, even though it isn’t tightly conjunct the Sun, would still be considered “under the sun’s beams” (any planet within 17-degrees of the Sun is considered as such), which also backs up the idea that the girls were in much more danger than they realized. Since we’re talking about the 4th House, and we have the Moon and the ruler of the 12th House (the Sun) there, this can show the start of a death pattern (since the 4th House is very much “cradle to the grave” energy).
Another thing to notice about this house is the fact that Mars is damn near dead-ass conjunct the IC, and Mars is also the ruler of the 8th House (which can also point to a death pattern, with the ruler of the 8th House in the 4th House). Mars can be incredibly violent and aggressive, which definitely fits here by the way that these girls were murdered. This could definitely show something like fire being used somewhere in the crime, though while the crime feels a little more planned out overall, the fire part almost seems like it was done on the fly.
The 10th House @ 5° 54′ Gemini
The 10th House can represent a few different things in a chart like this. It can represent the way that the public reacts to the case. It can also represent law enforcements handling of the case. The planetary ruler of this house is Mercury Rx in the 4th House in Sagittarius. First, this shows that the girls were in a public place (10th House ruler in the 4th can show this, and they were in a public place – this is reinforced further since Mercury Rx is also the chart ruler representing the girls). Beyond that, though, you’re looking at a case that would make the public very curious (which it did and still does). Scattered and lack of good communication would also be great ways to describe this case (and the handling of it). The Austin Police Department, as far as I’m concerned, were far too dogmatic in a very backwards way (per that Mercury Rx in Sagittarius) about who was to blame for this all of this. They were too inflexible about looking about other leads, getting too fucking hung up on the noise surrounding the case and trying to make what the officers thought happened fit the case at hand.
Here’s my advice to APD….if y’all happen to read this, go back to the original case files and look at the crime as if it just happened. I know that’s hard to do after 30 years, and really, I’d pull some new blood into this – new eyes that don’t have any bias regarding the case. I would bet a little money THEY HAVE ONE OF THE PERPETRATORS NAMES IN THE FUCKING CASE FILE. This may not have ever been an actual person of interest, but I would imagine that names of patrons who went to the Yogurt Shop in the days/weeks/months/etc. leading up to this event were taken down – THEY NEED TO GO THROUGH THESE FUCKING NAMES. I also think they need to probably have a lead detective on this case that’s pretty intuitive/leads by intuition (will kind of roll with hunches they have and see where they lead while not becoming to set on any one hunch). Mercury Rx needs to learn to trust it’s intuition, so it would make sense that this case would be served well by someone who does trust their intuition (not making arrests and bullshit based on intuition only but is comfortable with exploring intuitive hunches). THIS WHOLE CASE NEEDS TO BE WORKED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING ALL OVER AGAIN. Crime scene photos also need to be poured over in massive detail. I really think APD has exactly what they need to nail the correct person/people to wall for this crime (assuming this person/these people are still alive – a lot can happen in 30 years’ time). The details of this case got super fucked by too much of what feels like mental dogmatism in all the wrong areas and towards all the wrong leads (per Mercury Rx in Sagittarius). They have all the details they need to solve this mother fucker. They just need to do it.
-As I’ve mentioned before, I really think they are looking at two perpetrators for this case, though only one might be in the case files. This part is more intuitive than anything, but I also think it’s very possible that there is an age difference between these two perpetrators. Exactly how much of a difference, I’m not sure, but maybe something like one of them having been college age in 1991 with the other being 10 or so years older. -I also want to mention the possibility that one of the perps knew one of the victims’ families in a by proxy kind of way. Kind of like the perp knew one of the families of the girls but didn’t know them well (like a friend of a friend kind of thing). I make that mention because of the mutual reception between Mercury and Jupiter being in the 1st and 4th Houses. It at least seems like a possibility that should be explored if it hasn’t already. -It would even include the possibility that one of the perps was an employee or a previous employee of another business in that same strip mall (or in the area close by). Perhaps because one of the rulers of the Descendant falls in the first house – it seems like one of the perps may have been very comfortable in the Yogurt Shop himself, and very comfortable with the area. They may have even lived in the area at the time this happened.
I don’t normally mess with fixed stars in regular natal chart readings unless requested, but there were a few that really stood out in this event chart that I wanted to mention: —Thuban is at 7° 27′ Virgo which is conjunct the Ascendant in the event chart. It can indicate “burning alive in one’s own house.” This feels very literal to me. —Coxa is at 13° 25′ Virgo which is conjunct Jupiter. This fixed star is “good for voyages,” strength, and wisdom. —Ras Algethi is at 14° 45′ Sagittarius, which happens to be conjunct the Sun in the event chart. This can indicate some kind of nefarious plan carried out (and this fixed star is a reason that I do think there was some pre-meditation to at least some of this crime). —Manubrium is at 13° 36′ Capricorn which happens to be conjunct Uranus within a degree and within a couple of degrees of Neptune (both which have to do with the perp’s side of things). This fixed star can indicate fire, arson, or the burning of a body being involved. –Sabik is at 17° 58′ Sagittarius, which is conjunct Mercury by a degree and the Sun by a couple of degrees. This fixed star is like the pervert of the bunch. One of these perps was a massive fucking pervert (and people like this should absolutely be on APD’s radar). Anyone in the case file who before this crime or has since this crime had any kind of run in/arrest for being a fucking pervert, child-molester, rapist, etc. should most definitely be explored as a possible suspect. This fixed star can also represent wastefulness and lost energy; with Mercury also the ruler of the 10th House it seems like this could point to APD wasting their time on suspects that didn’t matter (in my opinion). –Vega is at 15° 19′ Capricorn, and this one is really interesting because it happens to be EXACTLY Neptune, one of the planetary rulers of the Descendant. This might explain how they got so fucking lucky by getting away with this for so long – there is definitely a luckiness to this fixed star. That doesn’t mean that they can’t be caught, though.
