  • Galactic Center Thoughts part XVII or: more examples for MAYBE how to incorporate the GC into chart weaving

    **Here is the video for the first chart in this blog post, for all of you that would rather watch than read. Here is the video for the second chart.**

    There were a couple of people who volunteered as tribute for me to take a look at their charts from the lens of the GC. Both of these charts are very interesting for different reasons (for the different GC contacts that they make and what else is going on in the charts). If you have watched the videos, I know when I was talking about these charts I was so excited to be doing them in the first place I KNOW that I left some shit out lol (so keep reading – I didn’t leave a bunch of shit out of the videos, but I know I forgot to mention a couple of things).

    As you will see from these examples in this post, along with those in my last blog post, there are lots of ways that all of this can go and this depends heavily on what is actually going on at the GC and elsewhere in the chart.

    I also want to include the disclaimer that I am JUST FUCKING WITH ASTROLOGY HERE. While I do feel like, at this point I do have a decent handle on the GC from an astrological point of view (and even from a scientific point of view), it’s the blending of the two that I’m still fleshing out. I know astrology and science don’t always blend nicely (lol), but I do like to apply science to stuff like this (and incorporating intuition) when figuring things out and fucking with shit. This is how we learn (or, lol, how I learn). I also reserve the right for any and all of this to be wrong down the line and I am in no way, shape, or form saying that any of this is universal truth.

    This chart belongs to someone who has participated in the research. As you can see, Neptune (retrograde) is conjunct the GC the most closely at 28-degrees Sagittarius, with Jupiter (retrograde) ALSO conjunct the GC (though by a wider orb since Jupiter is at 3-degrees Capricorn). This means that all the energy at the GC is going to touch Neptune the most, and then touch Jupiter (Jupiter is definitely impacted here, but I would bet that Neptune takes on more of the energy at the GC). Since Neptune is involved (and Neptune isn’t totally conscious or living in the real world as it is) I do wonder if having Neptune in such a physical/real world house (being in the 6th House) might actually cause this person to be able to BRING things that are more “surreal” or “unreal” INTO the real world (or the energy from the GC might cause Neptune to function this way). I don’t KNOW if this is actually the case, but I could see it going that way (either way, Neptune is going to be fucking charged). The 9th House with Pisces on the cusp and the 6th House with Sagittarius on the cusp will both BEND to the Neptune/Jupiter/GC thing, meaning that what this person believes, higher learning (and other 9th House things) will bend to the GC (or be amplified/charged/distorted/etc. by the GC). Same thing for the 6th House disposing of itself to the GC and the 6th House (this person really needs to believe in the way that they live their daily life, and the work that they do, among other 6th House things and with Sagittarius on the 6th House cusp).
    **In this chart, the GC is technically in the 5th House which means that areas of life dealing with creative self expression, risk taking, things they do for enjoyment, and even the notions of any children they might have will ALSO be impacted by the GC, too. These areas of life are probably charged/amplified/distorted/etc. as well. You could also play with other areas of life that the 5th House represents, too.
    -Jupiter is Retrograde in this chart which, I think, causes this person to be pretty in-tune with the GC naturally. This is probably amplified with Jupiter conjunct the GC.
    -Jupiter and Mars are out of bounds in this chart, which also probably acts to get this person even more in-tune with the GC energy.
    -They have nothing conjunct the Galactic Anti-Center. The GaC is actually in the 11th House (just barely) but this area would extend beyond the 11th House and into the 12th. This means that these two houses in the chart might be a little more blinded or clouded over (areas of life dealing with long-term goals and hopes, groups of people, etc. per the 11th House and shit in the unconscious per the 12th House, among other things). Now, with Gemini on the 12th House cusp, this makes me think that unconscious communication (the kind that would happen in the 12th House), or even just the unconscious thought patterns and processes in general might be more blinded or clouded over. The overflow of energy (or something like “overflow”) is going to strike that area of the chart. When this happens, it might end up lighting up this part of the chart so that it can be seen (even if there is some damage that happens here in the process).
    -This person has the Sun and Mercury trine the GC in the 2nd House in Virgo. Mercury is closer to being exactly trine the GC/sextile the GaC, so this would be the planet that I would look at first for being able to translate stuff from the GC down to Earth. It will also function as a grounding force for the lightning rod that is the GaC. This is interesting because Mercury is Retrograde, and I have mentioned before that I think Mercury Rx has an affinity for the GaC – so I actually think this person having Mercury Rx as the grounding force is pretty advantageous. What matters here is that this person functions from both of the Retrograde motions of Mercury and Jupiter in tandem (and something tells me since Jupiter is Rx and conjunct the GC they may function from the Rx motion of Jupiter while not functioning from the Rx motion of Mercury as easily). These planets are trine one another, Mercury and Jupiter, which definitely tells me that they CAN function from BOTH planets from the Rx motion in tandem – BOTH just need to be utilized.
    -Mercury Rx will be thrown a whole bunch of mental noise. There can be issues with knowing exactly what they should be taking into their mental headspace AND difficulty knowing what to communicate back out in the most proficient and “perfect” ways. I have to wonder if this person actually values what they have to communicate in the first place, and if they don’t, that ought to change. Tuning out all the bullshit that doesn’t actually matter to this person and not being a waste basket for other people’s noise seems like it should be said here (they need to value themselves for more than this, and they also need to be valued for more than this). This is very important. It is also important that while they can see the big picture, they still need to break things down from backwards motion (per Jupiter being Rx) to understand what they know and why they know it. As they are doing this, they need to, at the same time, be taking in information that is actually relevant to them and put this information together piece by piece, and step by step (per Mercury Rx), filtering out the shit that doesn’t actually need to be taken in. Mercury Rx and Jupiter Rx in a chart together need to find a way to “meet in the middle” in general, but here it feels even more important.
    -Operating from the Mercury Rx motion helps to translate things “downloaded,” intuited, or “inspired” by the GC ….. but operating from the Rx motion of Mercury is critical to this.


    This chart belongs to someone else who was nice enough to allow me to look at their chart from this lens who has participated in the research. The first thing I notice is that the North Node is conjunct the GC. This puts this person’s soul mission per the North Node merging with all the energy of the GC. This makes me think that this person probably does feel like they definitely HAVE a purpose in this lifetime, and I feel like this purpose probably does feel charged (or amplified/distorted/etc. but definitely charged). Even if they aren’t 100% sure what their purpose actually is, I would also think that in a lot of ways they might feel pulled towards it anyway (toward this purpose).
    -This person has Mercury, Mars, and the South Node conjunct the Galactic Anti-Center in the 5th House. That’s quite a few things conjunct the GaC, which makes me think that these planets (and the South Node) probably do sustain some damage, though since there are multiple things conjunct the GaC it feels like the damage might be dispersed among the three things. The South Node is what is closest to the GaC via conjunction, so the South Node does seem like it probably takes the most damage. The 3rd House with Aries on the cusp, the 5th House with Gemini on the cusp, and the 10th House with Scorpio on the cusp (if you use traditional rulership or use traditional rulership with modern rulership) will all bend to Mercury, Mars, the 5th House and the GC (meaning the GC will amplify/distort/charge/etc. the way that these house bend to their planetary rulership.
    –Now THIS begs some other questions from a past life perspective because of the South Node being involved. Does the South Node conjunct the GaC indicate some kind of previous life damage (I guess it could)? Or could it be pointing to not being able to clearly see or feel how the South Node functions (and thus maybe having a harder time seeing where they “come from” from a previous lifetime lens)? This also seems possible. Mars and Mercury are also here, and it makes me think that while they are very in-tune with the GC energy (they are both out of bounds – I forgot to mention this in the video), I do wonder if they are felt in the way that they should be felt from a previous lifetime perspective (and what we carry with us from our previous lifetime into this lifetime does help us to figure out where to “go” in this lifetime – it all needs to be understood). So I could see something happening here that while this person is very geared to the GC and probably feels a strong calling to something per soul mission stuff, fleshing out how Mercury and Mars play into the equation might be harder (or being able to see them from a previous lifetime lens to work through what needs to be worked through to move them towards the North Node entirely). I don’t want to get too personal, lol, but that’s what this feels like here (or what could be going on here….or going on at some previous point in their lifetime).
    -This person has 3 things trine the GC/sextile the GaC and those are the Descendant, the Moon, and Pluto. While any of those could function as a translator for the GC and a grounding force for the GaC, my first choice for them to work with in this way would be the Moon since it is a personal/inner planet. With the Moon being so close to the Descendant, any parts of their shadow side (per the Descendant) that involve emotions will need to be understood for the Moon to function as a translator and a grounding force the way I think it can (those things will need to be explored for sure, though). Once those Moon/Descendant issues are understood, this person’s emotions are probably an incredibly powerful translator. They could most definitely work with Pluto, too – and having Pluto here is interesting.
    –Pluto functions similarly to the South Node (among also doing other Pluto shit, lol). So, while the part of their past per the South Node in the 5th House may not be as well understood (or how these themes might play out in their life this time around), Pluto probably is better understood, and really, it’s probably THROUGH Pluto that this person is able to get in touch with what they need to learn about their most recent previous lifetime in order to move forward in this lifetime (it kind of grounds any shocking that the South Node takes on in this lifetime, or even has taken on, from a previous lifetime and maybe clarifies things). It also seems like regeneration is probably a big deal with how this person translates their mission down to Earth best of all – almost like regenerating the understanding of the South Node through Pluto (and I do think that it might be kind of like they needed to pick up in this lifetime where they left off in the last one – this is what I mean by regenerative). They just need to remember where they left off to get to where they wanted to be.

    To the both of you who let me do this, thank you so much for the pleasure ^_^ There is much more shit I could’ve said, but didn’t want to due to the public nature of where I’m posting this stuff. Hopefully you both get the idea, though. And for everyone else reading this stuff, hopefully you get the idea, too, just in a less personal way.

  • Retrograde Planets in a Natal Chart (and what they might mean)

    I’m baaaaack! And talking about a topic within astrology that I love….which is retrograde planets.

    Hahahaha, honestly I have been so busy these past (about) 4 months that I just haven’t had a spare moment to actually add to my astrological ramblings. And I’m truly SO eternally grateful for this, for the people that have hired me to do readings for them and kept me so busy. Practicing astrology (and being able to ACTUALLY practice astrology for clients) is one of the great loves of my life. So, to everyone that has hired me to do work for them, thank you so very much 🙂

    Over the past few months I have had several clients with a shitload of retrograde planets in their natal charts. Not only that though, but I have also seen an influx of questions on the different forums that I frequently creep on/answer questions on about what it means to have whatever planet in retrograde (and we could be talking about any planet here, except for the Sun and Moon, which never go retrograde). I tend to look at retrograde planets through more of the soul’s journey kind of lens, meaning I believe they tend to be things that our soul wanted to learn about and understand in a myriad of different ways throughout our different incarnations on Planet Earth/this 3D dimension. Thinking about it from this point of view helps to put it all into perspective for me. For some reason, the soul really wanted to understand something about its mind (Mercury), its drive (Mars), etc. while incarnating on Earth in a more personally “focused” way when a planet is retrograde. There is also more introspection given to the energy that these planets express naturally, and the energy is “introverted” instead of the more “extroverted” sort of expression of energy that is more prevalent with direct planetary motion. The whole purpose of these retrograde planets is to understand them at their core essence and what they mean to the person that has them (regardless if this planetary expression makes sense to anyone else). Because society at large is so focused on keeping up with “The Jones’s” and living and operating like the status quo would have you live and operate, this can make retrograde planets a particular challenge. The more planets that a person has retrograde in their chart, the more the person might feel an internal calling to break away from the status quo regarding things the retrograde planet wants to express. For instance, a person with Venus retrograde might feel their values are very different than that of the status quo (and this could be a challenging thing for then to feel comfortable expressing). Something that should also be paid attention to is your chart ruler; should you have a retrograde chart ruler, well, this kind of gives the person (and their chart) a “retrograde-y” flavor. When the chart ruler is a planet in retrograde motion, you tend to find someone who is very introspective (regardless of the planet involved), though how exactly this introspection is actually expressed inwardly and understood by the sense of self will depend on the planet and sign that we’re talking about, and the house that the chart ruler falls in. Here is an example of such for your viewing pleasure (hahaha) and understanding:

    **As far as the following ideas go, you would need to take the whole chart into account to know exactly how any retrograde planet (or planetary body) actually plays out in your life. For the sake of understanding, the house the retrograde planet falls in will show the areas of life involved, the sign of the retrograde planet will show how the energy is expressed, and the aspects fill in the rest of the story.**

    Mercury Retrograde: When Mercury falls retrograde in the natal chart there is a need for the soul to learn what is actually important for it to take in as far as learning and communication goes. The soul is probably coming from lifetimes where it took in too much information that just wasn’t necessary for it to take in. Personally, I think of the sort of soul who knows a whole lot of “extraneous” information that may help other people (or would help them in some sort of game show/trivia situation), but doesn’t end up actually serving them in the long run. In this lifetime, the soul wanted to tune out all this extra noise as far as what it takes in through communication and different modalities of basic learning. This can cause these people some difficulties with both in this lifetime. Since they are geared towards only taking in what is necessary for their soul to evolve (and for this information to serve a personal purpose), any sort of communication or learning that doesn’t serve this need for soul growth may not seem to “stick” in the same way that it does for people with Mercury direct. This can prove incredibly difficult in our society which (overall) has a tendency to believe that people should learn and communicate a certain sort of way, and this certain sort of way isn’t usually the way these people operate. The Mercury Retrograde person can really shine when they are able to understand and personalize anything they are taking in.

    Venus Retrograde: Venus in Retrograde is an interesting one. Since the retrograde motion turns the energy inward (or introverts it), and Venus deals not only with the concept of love but also about what one values (among other things), it is very important above all else that the Venus retrograde person is able to really love and value themselves. Venus naturally rules over BOTH Taurus and Libra, but in the case of the retrograde motion, it tends to exemplify Taurus more so than Libra. Libra energy is naturally more “social” which doesn’t quite fit the introverted quality of the retrograde motion (but Taurus energy certainly does, especially with its needing to find security and stability through self-worth and self-love). The more that the Venus Retrograde person is able to relate to other people from their own personal values and concepts of love, the more they will find what they need from other people (and not just trying to relate to people from the other person’s views, values, and concepts of love).

    Mars Retrograde: Mars in Retrograde has a soul purpose to only be driven to go after things in this incarnation that actually serve their soul in the long run. Depending on the chart of the person, this could create someone who seems to have a lack of drive (which isn’t true), or someone who is incredibly driven and on at all times (though the appearance of such would probably end up being more evident to the person in question due to the introverted way of the retrograde motion – other people might not SEE this as easily). This person will need to understand what actions that they need to take and WHY they need to take them (rather than the quick acting and/or reacting that Mars direct is so familiar with). The important thing here is that the Mars Retrograde person actually figures out what exactly does drive them and channel their energy into this. The lack of proper channeling of such energy can cause the person to turn all of this energy on themselves (which can cause all kinds of health ailments, sexual issues, and other sorts of things that aren’t pleasant).

    Jupiter Retrograde: Jupiter in Retrograde in a natal chart shows a need for the soul to create their own beliefs and personal truths for themselves, regardless of what this looks like to other people. These people are probably coming from previous incarnations where they weren’t able to create these beliefs and personal truths for themselves (or completely of themselves), and are needing to shed all the old skin of beliefs that just don’t serve them any damn good. Because the assimilation of information is more personalized here (and again, very focused on beliefs-maybe beliefs that are very different than that of the mainstream), this can cause these people to feel that they aren’t as intelligent as the rest of the population (which isn’t true), which can cause them to be a little quieter (or cause them to not really speak up and out at all). They may feel that by staying quiet and going along with everyone else they will be able to be (or at least appear) more “normal” than they actually are. By operating in this manner, though, they probably aren’t living their own personal truth, which is of premium importance to these souls this time around.

    Saturn Retrograde: When Saturn is found retrograde in the natal chart, there is a need for the soul to create its own reality in this incarnation, to go and do things their own way regardless of what is considered “normal” or “acceptable” in the society that they live. This is usually made easier or more difficult depending on the way that they were raised and the sort of person that did the “raising” (and oftentimes it seems there is a past life/karmic linkage to one’s parents here). Having had a parent or parents that were more accepting and allowed them to be different and create their own reality for themselves will make everything so much easier for these people in the long run. However, as seems to often be the case, if a parent/the parents are more authoritative and less accepting of personal differences in general this can cause difficulties with the Saturn retrograde person’s view of authority (how they handle their own personal authority and that of other people). Regardless of the sort of parents they had and the family they come from, these people need time to go inward within themselves, to retreat, and to make sense of things in life that actually fit their own notion of reality (and they need to be given the time and freedom to do so).

    Uranus Retrograde: Uranus found retrograde in the natal chart shows a soul that needs to learn to see things from a birds eye/omniscient point of view (to detach from not only emotions from a certain degree, but also to detach from the self somewhat). This need is usually due to some kind of trauma that the Uranus Retrograde person has carried with them from a previous incarnation that needs to be worked through, and can only probably be worked through by being able to see outside of themselves and beyond the scope of the person they are in this lifetime (along with the person that they have been in a previous incarnation). There is a sense of feeling different as well that is carried over from another life, and this can make one more likely to make friends with different people and groups that are strictly just like them (and this is usually done from the soul level as a way to not feel as “different”). This is why learning to see things from a birds eye point of view is so important, as is embracing these inherent differences that actually makes them the individuals that they are. Uranus in general (in any planetary motion) tends to be where our soul memories are stored. However, with Uranus in Retrograde (and the retrograde motion turning the energy more inward), these people have a unique ability to actually be able to access these soul memories in this lifetime, to heal any trauma from previous lives, and really grow.

    Neptune Retrograde: With Neptune Retrograde in the natal chart, there is an innate understanding that all people are connected to one another and that we are all connected to The Creator (there is actually no division here). Though this understanding is probably more felt from the collective unconscious place that Neptune dwells, and such has a great impact on the psychology of the person in question. They are able to pick up on things, feelings and vibes from other people without meaning to (and maybe even without wanting to). This ultra-sensitivity is better understood and handled psychologically when the understanding that we are all linked and no one is really separate from one another is more consciously understood. Another way that this is all understood is through the dreams that the Neptune Retrograde person has (and these people can have some very crazy dreams). This can be a way for them to internally process everything that they feel in this lifetime and to help them make sense of such.

    Pluto Retrograde: When Pluto is found Retrograde in the chart, there is a strong drive to both reunite with The Creator that is inside of all of us, but also just a strong drive to evolve in general (and for the soul’s evolution to happen at a more rapid pace). Until the person with Pluto Retrograde goes towards this need to reunite with The Creator (and goes more into the spiritual realms), there can be a sense of unhappiness or that they aren’t doing what it is that they should be doing to make themselves feel happy and whole. Mind you, this spirituality that I’m talking about doesn’t strictly adhere to any sort of dogma or religious belief (I certainly don’t mean it that way). It’s more about what resonates with the person and their soul. There will be much energy directed in an inward fashion towards the soul’s evolution and in figuring out how to do so, and the unhappiness mentioned above should be used as a catalyst for such.

    Chiron Retrograde: When Chiron is found Retrograde in the natal chart, I tend to see this as the person’s “core wounding” being something that initially stems from a previous incarnation. Oftentimes when I see this come up retrograde in a chart, there are aspects made to the person’s Chiron that tie in with their previous life story in some way (which is where this theory comes from). That doesn’t mean that the wounding ONLY comes from a previous lifetime, but that this core wounding is carried out in this lifetime from a previous lifetime just begging to be worked through. There is also an internalization and introversion of this wounding that speaks here to this; this core wounding from a previous life that is sort of played out again (though in maybe a different way) and is taken incredibly personally (probably from being intimately familiar with this wounding from another lifetime), from having lived through something like this before. It is also a wounding that, due to the inward nature of retrograde motion, might not be visible to anyone outside of the native.

  • Skipped Steps in the Natal Chart (and how to read them)

    Questions about past lives, the soul’s mission (or what a soul wants to accomplish this time around) and karma are always popular questions that I get regularly. Specifically, I tend to get asked about past life issues and karma that are needed to be dealt with in this lifetime, and how these issues might manifest in the current incarnation. There are different places to look in your natal chart (or any astrology chart, such as a synastry/composite chart) to to find unresolved karmic and past life elements, and one of the first place I look (after looking at the North & South Nodes and Pluto and its Polarity Point) is at any planets that may be making a square aspect with the North & South Nodes. If you have any planetary/celestial bodies squaring the Nodes, this is known as a “Skipped Step.” A Skipped Step is a planet(s), etc. that deal with unresolved issues that you have carried over from a previous lifetime (or lifetimes) into this lifetime. This may have been an issue (or issues) that you chose to willfully ignore in the past, or something that you didn’t recognize as an issue, or even something you just didn’t have the time in other incarnations to completely work out. Basically, there could be a whole bunch of reasons a planet might come around in this lifetime as a skipped step. You can have multiple planets square the Nodes (such as in the case of a Stellium square the Nodes, or even just planets in conjunction), you can have just one planet square the Nodes, and you can also have planets in opposition to one another that both square the nodal axis (in the case of the Grand Cross). Just to illustrate what Skipped Steps look like in a natal chart, here is an example:

    Skipped Steps from my own Natal Chart (circled in white) and the nodal axis – The North Node in the 4th @ 0 Aries 17 is Square 1st House Venus @ 25 Sagittarius 40, Uranus @ 25 Sagittarius 26 (and by proxy, Saturn @ 21 Sagittarius 05), is square the South Node in the 10th House @ 0 Libra 17, is square Chiron @ 27 Gemini 25, is square the North Node.

    Now, you may be looking at a chart that looks like my own, or you may be looking at one that doesn’t have the Grand Cross formation (but instead just one planet square the Nodes). I would keep the orbs tighter here with planets and other major celestial bodies square the Nodes. Generally speaking, that will be 5° applying or separating between the planet, etc. and the nodal axis. I say generally speaking because there are some cases where I would extend the orb when a planet squares the nodes. Any planet that doesn’t actually square the Node but conjuncts a planet that squares the Node will color the Skipped Step with that planets energy, thus ending up being square it to by proxy. An example of this is Saturn in my own chart above. It would technically be out of orb for me to consider it a Skipped Step on it’s own, but since it is in conjunction with Uranus and Venus, by proxy it becomes part of the Skipped Step theme. Depending on the planets and celestial bodies involved in the Skipped Step, you will be able to get an idea of what exactly was missed or not understood or integrated in your past life, and what you are really supposed to learn and understand in this life. The more planets involved in the this formation, the more possible it seems that these issues have been going on for many lifetimes. Even if they haven’t been going on for many lifetimes, in some lifetime tied to this one these planets (and what they want to express) have been avoided in some way, compounding and gaining interest. Because these are in a square formation, there is naturally tension that the native is probably unable to avoid or ignore in this lifetime. One way to help yourself along this journey is to look at the “Resolution Node,” which is essentially the Node (either the North or the South Node) that was last in conjunction with the planet (or planets) in the square formation. To do this turn the North Node/South Node Axis counter-clockwise in your mind to see what planet(s) in the square formation were last in conjunction with what Node. By doing this, you can get a better idea as to how you can resolve these Skipped Step(s) issues. To take an example from my own chart, I need to work through my Uranus, Venus (and Saturn) shit and I have to go back to the South Node to work through these issues (since the South Node was the last Node in conjunction with these planets). Since Chiron was last in conjunction with my North Node, I would be working through the Chiron Skipped Step with the North Node. Actually, in the case of a Grand Cross, usually you are working through both steps somehow simultaneously (and are cosmically forced too), just through the different Nodal energies.

    You can also apply this same concept to synastry charts. If you have a Skipped Step (or Skipped Steps) in your own natal chart, look to see if your synastry partner has a planet/celestial body that conjuncts (specifically the conjunction aspect here) your skipped step(s). If this happens to be the case, this person is generally tied into your Skipped Step issue from a past life (perhaps they were actually IN your previous lifetime, or perhaps they are supposed to help you work through it in this lifetime, among other possibilities). The energy and way they are tied in depends on the planet of theirs that is in conjunction with your Skipped Step. There could be very strong feelings between the two of you (that you bring out in one another), but those feelings may or may not always “feel” good. How this actually manifests in real life depends on what the rest of the synastry looks like. The planet/celestial body person might force (even unconsciously) the skipped step person to acknowledge that skipped step planetary energy (and harness it).

  • Natal North Node at 0 degrees Aries

    Charts where the natal north node is at 0-degrees Aries…..these charts absolutely fascinate me. This is because when you have your north node at 0-degrees Aries, your draconic chart is exactly the same as your natal chart. Since the nodal axis deals with the soul (what the soul is comfortable & familiar per the south node and one of the soul missions in this lifetime per the north node), it would stand to reason that this type of situation would cause THIS lifetime to be very important to the native (along the course of ALL the lifetimes that the native experiences). What could this mean? Lets explore some ideas 🙂

    *Natal North Node at 0 degrees Aries*

    When a person has their natal north node at 0-degrees Aries, this causes ones draconic chart to look the same as their natal chart; all of the planets and aspects are conjunct when doing an overlay between the two charts. The closer that your natal north node is to 0-degrees Aries, the more similar the natal and draconic charts will appear. In the context of a this blog post I’m talking about people who have their natal north node either at 0-degrees Aries or conjunct the Aries Point within 5 degrees applying & separating. There are some theories that I have about what this can mean for the person who has this in their natal chart (and mind you, these are all just theories that feel like they might be right). When studying these types of charts together there isn’t a whole lot out there … so I figure I’d throw my ideas out there into the fray. 

    I have seen it mentioned various places that having your Natal North Node at the Aries Point could mean things like:
    -Since the Aries point is considered the beginning of a new cycle, it could mean this is your first incarnation in this realm, or that even though you’re soul is in this realm, you have somehow ascended to another level of consciousness in this lifetime (thus starting a new cycle, but not being a “new” soul).
    -People that have their north node at 0 degrees Aries are essentially getting a “do-over” life in this incarnation. Since some astrologers believe that the draconic chart is the natal chart of ONLY the native’s most recent past life, it would make sense to think that maybe both charts (the natal & draconic) are the same because something happened in their past life to where they weren’t able to complete their souls mission that time around, that something cut that lifetime short. Thus getting the opportunity in this life to be the same kind of person to try and rectify this and complete their soul’s mission from the previous lifetime.
    -The Aries Point holds a lot of power in general, and having ones north node here may incline the person to have a powerful sort of destiny that their soul wishes to act on and act out in this lifetime……if they choose to act on this destiny and desire, that is.
    *All of the above seem reasonable to me. However, my ideas are below*

    It seems that when one has this position in their natal chart, it causes the person to be exactly who and what they are on a soul level (the good and the bad and everything in between). There is no ‘natal-chart-of-this-lifetime-mask’ to be worn here; these people get the divine opportunity in this lifetime to be exactly as they really are. This makes a lot of sense (to me anyway), since I feel that the natal chart is the chart for a particular lifetime in human form, but the draconic chart is the chart for the soul across all time and space. There is a real vulnerability to this position that I have instinctively sensed, because like it or not… you are who you are. The people that I have known with this placement (and I’ve come into contact with several (myself included)) tend to be “what you see is what you get” kind of people, and this does appear to intensify the closer to exact their natal north node is to 0-degrees Aries. I also feel that for these people this particular life is of paramount importance in their soul’s evolution, and where this evolution is supposed to take place will depend on the house the natal north node finds itself in (and of course, any aspects made). If the north node is one of the soul’s main missions for this lifetime, and the draconic chart is the chart of a native’s soul across all lifetimes, then it would make sense to me that in this lifetime the person is supposed to really accomplish things that the person really wants (on a soul level). 
    -Something to take note of here: the nodal axis is retrograde more often than it is direct. If you use the mean node it will always average out retrograde. If you use the true node will bounce around between retrograde and direct (but it will be retrograde more often). Because of retrograde motion here, the END is 0-degrees Aries and the beginning is 29-degrees Pisces. This makes me think that there is definitely a beginning and end thing going on in this lifetime for these people (perhaps something both ending and starting up in this current incarnation).
