  • Lana Clarkson Death Chart

Lana Clarkson died on February 3, 2003 at 40 years old in record producer Phil Spector’s home. It is said that they met while she was working at the House of Blues in LA earlier than night and I guess decided to go for some after hours fun or some shit at his house. Driver was waiting outside for them to do…whatever they were going to do in the house, and the driver heard a gunshot while waiting. Spector comes out of the house with the gun saying “I think I just shot her” OR “I think I’ve killed somebody” (I’ve seen both quotes). He has maintained that it was an accidental suicide and that she “kissed the gun.” She was found in his home dead with a single gunshot wound to her mouth. He ended up being sentenced to 19 years to life in prison but died earlier this year on January 16, 2021 before he was eligible for release.

This might sound real stupid, but as familiar as I am with a lot of the music that he produced (George Harrison’s “All Things Must Past” would probably be in my top 5 favorite albums of all time), I am NOT super familiar with this case. Which, again, sounds really stupid because it was so highly publicized.

So, lol, I won’t lie – this fucking chart is weird (I think it’s weird – though I can’t quite place my finger on why yet). More than that, I think the VIBE of this chart is just…weird. There isn’t anything off the bat that stands out to me like this was planned, premeditated, or that he (or she) even knew what the fuck they were doing in the first place…that actually stands out to me the most – the fact that I don’t think either of them were real clear about what the hell they were doing. There are a few “death pattern markers” that I notice – ruler of the 8th House, the Sun, in the 1st House and the ruler of the 4th House, Venus, in the 12th House. Neptune in the 1st House can show some kind of secret shit, though here it doesn’t seem like planning something secret – more like something secret about what they were doing in the first place (I’m thinking something drug or sex related….or BOTH). Actually it feels like something secret about him more than it feels like something secret about her (though I could see it applying to both parties). Pisces falls intercepted in the 2nd House (which Neptune rules), and since it falls in the 1st House, I do feel that there was just a general lack of clarity on both of their ends. Neptune is also under the Sun’s beams, which tends to indicate “grave danger.” In the case of Neptune, I’m thinking any clouding or fogginess that influenced this whole thing put her in that grave danger this placement alludes.

Since she is the victim, you would look to the Ascendant in Capricorn and planetary ruler of Capricorn, Saturn Rx, in Gemini in the 6th to represent her. By way of first dispositions, you can definitely see that she was at work when the events were set in motion (6th House deals with the work that you do, among other things). I feel like she was just kind of living her life and not really doing anything that she wasn’t used to doing (even if this was the first time that she met Spector, I don’t think she was unfamiliar with meeting people like she met him and going off with them – and I say that with absolutely no hint of judgment, just what I see). Though I will say that with the Rx motion of Saturn, she maybe DID have some reservations about going off with Spector that particular night. Why? Not really sure, but I do think they were there (and were clearly ignored). From there you would go to the planetary ruler of Gemini, Mercury, which is in the 1st House in Capricorn. Now, something I DO notice here that you usually don’t pay a whole bunch of attention to in these kinds of charts is Chiron. Chiron conjuncts Mercury by 4-degrees, and conjuncts the Ascendant by 1.5-degrees. This feels like a wounding of the mind, honestly, or a wounding regarding her having the “authority” to think straight. The mutual reception between Mercury and Saturn kind of strengthen all of this for me. This is where her chain of dispositions ends. Could this be something like drugs? Absolutely. Could it even be something like mental illness? That’s also possible.

Now, we want to look at the Descendant chain of dispositions, since the Descendant and the planetary ruler of the Descendant show the perpetrator. The Descendant is in Cancer and the Moon, which rules Cancer, is in the 2nd House in Pisces and it falls in interception. This is also important because the Moon is co-ruler in these charts (meaning it is also the co-ruler of Clarkson). This makes me think that she had something that he wanted, though really, with the Moon being intercepted, I’m not even sure that HE realized he wanted what he wanted from her. The Moon in Pisces intercepted thing just feels REALLY unclear from both points of view, and I kind of feel like these were two people who really didn’t know what the fuck they were doing at this particular time (it all just feels REALLY cloudy – and this is another reason that I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they were both intoxicated or something like it). From the Moon, we then go to Jupiter RX in the natal chart. I will be looking at Neptune (since it is the modern ruler of Pisces), but for the dispositions of the “story” itself I usually look at traditional rulership. Jupiter RX in Leo in the 7th, this would show them ending up in some place that was familiar to him (which is exactly what they did – they went to his house). The Rx motion of Jupiter stands out because while Jupiter RX can see “the big picture” and be incredibly intuitive, it tends to have issues when it needs to break things down from a logical and rational point of view (and there was clearly some issues in the logic and reason area since Chiron is conjunct Mercury). Jupiter Rx CAN do this, but it has to do this backwards – figuring out why it knows what it knows piece by piece to make sense of what it knows from a logical and rational point of view. I also get the feeling that he had a feeling that they shouldn’t do what they were doing, either, but couldn’t make sense of why (kind of like knowing a car is going to get into a head on collision before it happens, but not being able to stop the driver or even have logical/rational sense of why you think that in the first place…and then it happens). Then from there we would look at the Sun in the 1st House in Aquarius (closely conjunct Neptune) which leads me, again, to think of intoxication (though I think it may have been something kind of weird – like not a commonly used substance or something). I mean, the usual suspects may have been involved too, but I do think they were partaking in something that isn’t used as often recreationally. Shit, even whatever they were doing sexually may have been something weird – whatever this is (sex or drugs or whatever), it was something that he impressed upon her (something he suggested they do or something he gave her to take). Probably something he liked or something he valued that I don’t think other people were as privy too. From there, you would go to Saturn in the 6th, and then to Mercury in the 1st (and I think it’s in this mutual reception that she dies). Saturn can represent the body in charts like this, but Mercury being impacted by Chiron like it is…the whole mutual reception just feels like incredibly bad judgement. I get the feeling that they were probably screwing around with that gun (simulating blow jobs or whatever they were doing), and I think it went off (and he realized that it went off and he had a real “what the fuck did I just do?!” kind of moment). Probably did some back and forth for a few minutes trying to realize WHAT had just happened, what he just did. Realizing that he made a very bad error in mental judgement, but it being too late to do anything about it.
**By sign, the Moon in Pisces (ruler of the Descendant) and Saturn in Gemini (ruler of the Ascendant) make a square aspect – and moving closer together since Saturn is Rx and the Moon is applying to Saturn. This also shows the wheels being set in motion for all of this to occur.

The 10th House Cusp is in Scorpio, and both the modern and traditional rulers of Scorpio, Pluto and Mars respectively, fall in the 11th House. I do feel like this case was investigated, but I also have to wonder if there are things that the public doesn’t know about the case (I’m thinking that there probably are – I’m thinking some things were kept from the public). Even though Mars and Pluto are in Sag (which is very truth loving and truth seeking), I’m thinking with Jupiter Rx in the chart what they kept private was something that had to do with Spector but not necessarily the case itself (or more like by-proxy related to the case). If Spector had weird sexual proclivities, these may not have been mentioned in the case (and if anything weird that he enjoyed sexually was divulged, I’m guessing they didn’t really crack the ice). I’m thinking it may not have been mentioned because while it maybe DID apply to the case, I think they felt like they had enough information to give the public to explain what happened without mentioning these particular things/this particular thing. It’s also possible they didn’t think that the public would understand whatever was kept hidden (like they wouldn’t be able to make logical sense of it, or it would open up a whole other can of unrelated worms….which also seems possible). The ruler of the 4th House, Venus, falling in the 12th House definitely leads me to also think that there are things about this case that were not mentioned to the public (and since Sagittarius rules over the 12th House cusp some of the truth, again, feels hidden here).

All in all, I do think this was probably an accident…..a very, very tragic accident. I don’t think accidental suicide is the right way to put it, though. I think more than likely they were playing around with the gun during sex or whatever, and it went off. As someone who has fired guns, I know you can certainly tell the difference in weight between a loaded and unloaded firearm….but if they were fucked up, I’m thinking it would be possible NOT to pay attention to that (or to think something wasn’t loaded when it actually was).

I am very curious about whatever they actually DID keep secret about him (things that weren’t mentioned to the public). Not gunna lie – I almost wonder if this could have to do with something belief related (something darker in nature) that also translated to the sex side of things. I don’t think he would’ve necessarily picked her up FOR this purpose on that night, but I almost wonder if what wasn’t mentioned to the public wasn’t mentioned because it tied in with something along those lines? There are a few fixed stars that stand out that kind of allude to this:
-Atria @ 20 Sagittarius 54 conjunct Pluto can point to shit like an “interest in freemasonry” (and I bring that up since the cusp of the 10th House bends to Pluto in the 11th in Sag). I also want to make it clear that I don’t necessarily think freemasonry is a bad thing (I think there are probably bad sects of it and it can be used negatively like anything else, but I don’t think it’s universally bad). Really, what stands out about the mention of “freemasonry” here is the idea of secrecy. The cusp of the 11th House (which would be like the cusp of the 5th if you were to slip the chart) is @ 27 Scorpio 46 which is conjunct the fixed star Agena. This fixed star can indicate “occult learning,” and with the 11th House functioning like the 5th when you slip the chart (making the Descendant the Ascendant, essentially), it makes me think that sex for him may have had occult leanings. Though, again, I don’t necessarily think he picked HER up for that reason on this night (or if he did, he didn’t realize he was doing this). The fixed star Skat @ 8 Pisces 52 is conjunct the Moon (which is both Spector by dispositions from the Descendant AND the co-ruler of the chart). This fixed star can indicate stuff like occult or hidden interests.
-A few other interesting things here are some other fixed stars. The fixed star Sheliak @ 18 Capricorn 53 is damn near exactly conjunct Mercury. This fixed star can indicate stuff like sexual “adventures,” disgrace, and death by violence (and dying from a gunshot wound to the head is incredibly violent). Bellatrix @ 21 Gemini 28 is within a degree of Saturn, and this fixed star can indicate things like accidents and sudden dishonor. I bring up both of these because Saturn and Mercury (and their mutual reception) does seem to me where she actually died.

  • Pluto’s Return (part III): 2022/2023 Solar Return Chart for the US

Here is a video I made about this for people who like to watch things

In the last post about Pluto’s Return, I went over the US’s 2021/2022 Solar Return Chart. In this post, I will be moving forward in time to the US’s Solar Return that starts in 2022. With regular Solar Return charts for people, you generally don’t want to look too far in advance since you need to have the location that the person is on their birthday/when their Solar Return happens. In the case of looking at a country, I have set the reference location to Washington DC, the nations capital. Unless something happens between then and now that changes where the nations capital is, this Solar Return chart will still be valid this far into the future. Below you will see the Solar Return chart I’m talking about:

US Solar Return Chart for 2022

The Solar Return Ascendant is in Gemini, which makes the SR Chart ruler Mercury…which falls in Cancer in the 1st House. While I definitely think we are pretty chatty as a nation this year, and really, probably more sensitive about how we communicate, I do wonder how this actually translates in real time. Do we use this for thinking/communicating in a more compassionate way, or we use to it as a way to further misunderstand one another (again, just being overly sensitive and offended about everything). It also feels kind of….scattered. This could really go either way at this point since we’re still so far out from the 2022 SR. The SR Sun is also in the 1st House, and I have to wonder if the “appearance” of the US is going to be of high importance or at least heavily discussed (and I mention “appearance” since the Ascendant and 1st House tend to deal with “appearance,” among other things, in the natal chart). I’m thinking things like states breaking apart, new states being created (hell, maybe Puerto Rico could even become a state at this point in time) – things of that nature which would actually change the physical map of the US.

The Solar Return Moon falls in Virgo in the 4th House. This makes me think that the emotional core of the country is probably pretty focused ON the country. Now, since this is in Virgo, I feel like we as a country might be pretty emotionally critical of one another and how this country is run – people trying to reorganize the way that things are handled (reorganization of “home” just seems *really* applicable). The way that we feel secure & safe as a country seem like they are the most likely to be critiqued, reorganized, and “perfected.” Of course, these being for the “good or the bad” really depends on what “side” you currently sit (or will sit at that time). I’d like to think that we give up the notion of “sides” in this country across the board, but the notion of sides is so ingrained in us I don’t think this falls by the wayside easy (and I also don’t think this notion will have fallen to the wayside by the time this Solar Return starts).
–There is also a mutual reception between the Moon and Mercury, which feels like it strengthens all of the above.

Solar Return Saturn really catches my attention for a couple of reasons. The first is you always want to look at where Saturn is in a SR Chart since it shows where you (or the country in this case) will put in the most work and/or be tested. This is going on in the 9th House, which automatically makes me think about this testing and/or work having to do with 9th House shit – higher education, religion, travel, higher courts, etc. Higher Courts is something that I can’t shake my attention from in this case, and in the case of the US, I’m thinking this testing or work will have to do with the Supreme Court. Since Saturn is retrograde in the SR, it makes me automatically think about the Supreme Court having to decide on a case that echoes a case from the past. If this happens to be the case, I think it really ends up disorganizing what the Moon in the 4th is trying to achieve since the Moon and Saturn are quincunx one another (and not seeing one another clearly). I also think we might be looking at a case that has to do with something American’s feel is protected or a “right.” Knee jerk, something like the 2nd Amendment seems likely for this kind of scenario – but intuitively that doesn’t feel right to me (I actually don’t think this will have to do with firearms or the 2nd Amendment – at least not directly). Since I’m kind of a history dork, lol, I decided to look up different Supreme Court Cases that were discussed/decided when Saturn was in Aquarius (since I do think, should Saturn go this way, it will echo a case from the past). Some possibilities that stand out to me are:
*Things having to do with Civil Rights, since several Civil Rights cases came up during the period of time Saturn was Aquarius from 1961 through 1964 (though interestingly enough, the actual Civil Rights acts of 1964 came to pass when Saturn was retrograde in Pisces on July 2, 1964 (Saturn would re-enter Aquarius briefly from Mid September through Mid December of 1964 before passing into Pisces for “good” for the next couple years).
    * The Slaughter-House Cases stand out which were decided in April 1873 (when Saturn had just moved into Aquarius). This cases decision found that the Privilege’s or Immunities Clause of Fourteenth Amendment only protects the legal rights that are associated with federal US citizenship, not those that pertain to the states. The clause says “no state shall make or enforce any laws which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States.” Perhaps something that echoes THIS very thing in some way comes up.
*Vermont v. New Hampshire was decided in 1933 (when Saturn was in Aquarius) decided the physical boundary between these two states. If it were to go the way I mentioned before with all the 1st House action during this SR and the physical layout of the US changing, something that echoes this seems possible to be discussed.
*Another thing that seems like it could be a possibility is something that echoes the New Deal that FDR created in 1933 when Saturn was in Aquarius. While the New Deal wasn’t a Supreme Court case itself, many of it’s policies found their way to the Supreme Court (some of which were struck down as unconstitutional). The New Deal encompassed programs like Social Security and the Emergency Banking Act (among several others). I almost wonder if something having to do with the New Deal is found to be unconstitutional today, or actually fails completely (Social Security seems up for grabs using that angle). Or maybe, some other kind of “New Deal” is created, or is tried to be created, and it’s totally shot down by the Supreme Court.
…..Really, we could be talking about anything that has to do with Supreme Court cases (cases that were discussed or decided at times in history that Saturn fell in Aquarius).
**I actually wrote this post before Biden’s speech to congress on April 28, 2021. There were several things about his speech that have a similar flavor to FDR’s New Deal in the 1930s.**

Something else that I think of when I see Saturn in the 9th in Aquarius is the possibility of travel being restricted. Though, to me, this feel more INSIDE the country than strictly international (like the 9th House would typically suggest). Maybe it’s the retrograde motion of Saturn (I can’t really put my finger on why I get the feeling domestic travel will be more restricted – it might have to do with the SR Saturn conjunct the natal Moon in the natal 3rd House…that comparison chart is posted below). Does this have to do with Coronavius (or some other virus)? Maybe, I guess it could – if something like another “lockdown” happened or some shit? Or maybe certain states/regions locking down while others stay open? Or maybe this kind of restriction doesn’t have to do with COVID at all and has more to do with keeping people separate in some way, for some reason? Something along those lines seems possible.

Comparison between natal chart (inside wheel) and solar return chart (outside wheel) for the United States

The SR South Node is in the 6th House in Scorpio, with the SR North Node in the 12th House in Taurus. This makes me think that the country this year just feels really *heavy.* Daily life feels heavier and more intense than it normally does at this time in the US (which, lol, is hard to imagine with things already feeling pretty intense right now). It seems like we’ll be dealing with issues stemming with power and control, and this feels even more amplified with Pluto (modern ruler of Scorpio) falling in the 8th House. These may not all be direct and in your face exertions of power – almost like something being taken control of without realizing it’s happening (it definitely more “hidden”). We need to all be aware during 2022/2023 the ways that we are controlled, manipulated, and “under someone’s thumb) – even in the less overt ways. Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, falls in the 11th House in Taurus. This makes me think that the way that this control reaches into the groups that make this country feel secure (this is could be groups that make the collective feel secure in this country, or even the way that this country exerts its power on a national stage) will need to be watched. This country needs to stop trying to control or manipulate other groups on an international stage. The people in this country also need to watch for how different groups control and manipulate behind the scenes or in a more veiled way – this kind of shit needs to come to light. Saturn is also squaring the natal axis, which does make me think concepts dealing with authority will probably get in the way of us as a country getting to the North Node – and really, progress here is a very relative term, since this depends on what you consider progress to be – it won’t be progress that everyone likes or considers progress). With the North Node in Taurus in the 12th, we’re looking as a country to kind of “ascend” to higher levels of stability – real stability – and this might look a little different than we can even imagine right now (especially with Uranus conjunct the North Node in Taurus – the stability that we all collectively want to find this particular year is very different than what we’ve had in the past). Does it actually go this way, though? I don’t know. Taurus on the 12th House cusp can also show holding on to baggage a little too tightly, which makes me think that collectively we’ll need to let some shit go (Scorpio South Node needs this anyway) in order to find the security and stability that will be sought out. I also think our unconscious values as a country will need to be sorted out …. or something along those lines since Venus, the ruler of the North Node in this chart, falls in the SR 12th House. In house overlays, the SR Venus ALSO conjuncts the natal Descendant. This makes me think that the shadow part of the country will probably have to be dealt with, at least a little bit, before we can move forward as a country and ascend. Specifically the values that we have about how we communicate as a country, how we are communicated to, and the unconscious thought processes that probably keep us more fucked than we need to be (like the values of the we have as a country that end up keeping us “down”). There are probably multiple things here. Perhaps it’s even any scattered quality to our values as a country that needs to be addressed (and they are pretty scattered). I think we probably fight all of this tooth and nail, though. Rather than sinking further into the abyss, we need to strive for a different kind of stability.

  • Pluto’s Return (Part II): US’s Solar Return for 2021/2022

**Here is the video that I did that goes along with this blog post**

This is Part II in the continuation of the series on the US’s Pluto’s Return, which started in earnest in early 2020 and will go on through December 27, 2025 (once Transit Pluto clears 2 Aquarius 33 in the sky which is within the 5-degree separating orb I use for transit to natal planets). This year when the US has it’s “birthday” on July 4, 2021 feels really important from a Solar Return perspective since 2022 is when transit Pluto comes home “exactly” to it’s natal position – this happens on February 20, 2022, on July 12, 2022, and on December 27, 2022. You might be asking yourself “can countries have Solar Returns?” Lol I don’t really know. I mean, if people have them, I don’t see any reason why a country couldn’t have them, too. Natalie and myself were talking about this a couple of months ago – if it is possible to look at a Solar Return for a country. We both kind of came to the conclusion that there really wasn’t any reason you couldn’t do a Solar Return chart for a country (in theory). If nothing else, it might give some ideas about what the country (any country’s Solar Return you might look at) will be going through during any given year. In saying all of that, it would make the Solar Return’s for the US for 2021 through 2022, and also 2022 through 2023, extremely important since these Solar Return’s would also correlate with the time frame that transit Pluto comes home to it’s natal position. For this Solar Return chart, I set the reference place to Washington, DC.

Above is the US’s Solar Return chart for 2021, which will start on July 4, 2021 at 10:52 pm. The Sun is obviously in Cancer since that won’t change in the SR chart, but it moves from the natal 7th House to being in the 5th House in the SR chart. To me, this feels like a much more emotional, moody, and sensitive self expression openly than the country may be used to operating. We’ve been “emotional” for a while as country, but during 2021/2022 this feels like it probably is intensified. I don’t think the sensitivity translates to being kinder to one another, but it feels more pissy in nature….expressing our pissy-ness as a nation because we get butt-hurt or offended by things collectively…just taking things WAY too personally (Cancer energy can get rather offended by shit, no offense, and when this energy feels offended it can get pissy and/or retreat into what’s most comfortable for it). Or, lol, it could express itself in a pissy or offended kind of way – perhaps creatively expressing itself from this place of offense and pissy-ness due to the sensitivity. This sounds pretty apt for now, even though the 2021 Solar Return hasn’t actually started yet.

The Solar Return Moon is in Taurus in the 3rd House (where the 5th House will dispose of itself since Cancer rules the 5th). Self-expression will need to be communicated, meaning a lot of this sensitivity, and feelings of pissy-ness and offense (and other shit) will “need” to be communicated. Since the 3rd House is “local” in nature, I think several regions of the US will probably kind of commiserate in their “offenses” together, perhaps only feeling emotional security when communicating with those that hold the same values they do, feel offended by the same things they do, or feel pissy about the same things they do (such as different regions, states, or other localities kind of banding together in this way – and the local aspect stands out with the 3rd House tending to deal more with “local” issues). Something along those lines seems really possible, anyway. Interestingly enough, the SR Moon is also conjunct one of the SR Chart Ruler’s (Uranus, by modern rulership of Aquarius). This puts the way the US expresses itself naturally and knee-jerk very enmeshed with the countries emotional core this year – I think there will be several parts of the country that no longer feel like they can count on the federal government for things (or won’t want to count on them) just due to the local flavor of the Moon in the 3rd House – and finding security from these more local areas instead of finding security as a whole. The coming together of the Moon and Uranus in Taurus (with Uranus in the 2nd House), changing emotional values and the way they are communicated seem really highlighted, too. These also feel like they could be incredibly erratic and unstable. With the Sun trine the Moon/Uranus conjunction, this doesn’t bother any of these planets (they feed off one another).

There is also something that I want to mention about Aquarius and Uranus energy thrown into the mix (with Aquarius as the Ascendant and Uranus the modern chart ruler) – while Uranus and Aquarius are both incredibly open-minded and tolerant, at the highest vibration both of these are open-minded and tolerant to almost anything. At a lower vibration, there can be an “Us v. Them” mentality to this sign and planet – only being open-minded and tolerant to those that are the flavor of open minded and tolerant that they themselves are. This is very much of a hallmark of the people in this country right now – only being open minded to those that share the same thoughts, feelings, etc. This will probably only get worse during 2021/2022 considering the way that we have been going as country (and with the Moon and Uranus fucking each other in the SR, it actually feels like this becomes even more erratic and unpredictable). Aquarius and Uranus energy is also very revolutionary, reformative, and rebellious. I’m not ragging on ANY of these things, because they are absolutely necessary catalysts for change (and, let’s face it, there need to be some changes made in the way the US functions). At a lower vibration, all these are notions that are necessary for any (positive) change to end up devolving into chaos and what feels like finger pointing at the groups of people that are different than they are, or pairing off with groups of people that share their same views on things (and only sticking with those groups/people). This, I also feel like, will only get worse too. While there are definitely things that need to be reformed here in this country, we really do need to do this in the correct way and join together in the higher vibration of Aquarius/Uranian energy – not let it tear us apart.

This SR Chart actually has two chart rulers – Uranus by modern rulership of Aquarius and Saturn by traditional rulership of Aquarius. Saturn in the SR chart also shows where “work” is put in, and where “testing” happens. SR Saturn squares SR Uranus, which definitely makes me feel like there is a distinct tension here (duh, this is clearly already happening). I do think it gets worse, though. Saturn in the 12th makes me feel like the responsibility that the country actually has, that we have as a country, is clouded over….or the ways that we try to take responsibility are just off. It’s like trying to make progress, but only really causing more problems for ourselves in the name of the progress that we’re trying to make. I think it’s really important that during the 2021 SR return we as country actually ask ourselves what the fuck it is we’re fighting for, why the fuck we’re fighting for it, and adjust the way that we fight for it when adjustments are necessary. This seems even more highlighted with SR Mars in the 6th opposite SR Saturn. The more that we just “fight” and the less we actually know what our responsibility as a country really is, the more fucked we end up. This is just a hint: we have a responsibility, in my opinion, to fucking come together and knock off the us v. them group shit. I think it’s also really important that we, instead of fighting one another, fight the real enemy here (and this real enemy sure the fuck isn’t one another, but those who push this fucking US V. THEM NARATIVE). We just seem really fucking lost about how to make any real progress (which is ultimately what Saturn in Aquarius does want – mastery over progress…and things along those lines). We probably end up shooting ourselves in the foot by way of the way we try to go about this. Hopefully I’m wrong about this and we can knock off all our bullshit.

The SR South Node is conjunct the MC in Sagittarius, with the SR North Node in Gemini conjunct the IC. This tells me that this year the country was probably wanting to focus a little less on it’s public presence (perhaps in the case of a country this would deal with it’s place on the worlds stage). Though, since we’re dealing with the South Node, it’s easy to get “sucked” back into previous ways of operating. Perhaps during 2021/2022 we wanted to move away from the focus on the country’s presence on the world stage in some capacity, focusing on things more here at home (with the IC being the core of the natal chart, it would make sense for the IC here to be, like, the core of the country). Learning how to communicate and fucking LISTEN to one another as a country. Learn how to agree to disagree, and that can we take in information that doesn’t fit our beliefs or views. I definitely feel like the SR chart is begging for us to fix things with our one another and quit fucking around with foreign lands and with foreign people. We have a tendency to do that in this country – trying to help people in other countries without helping ourselves as well (and a lot of the time, this help is really “help” and not really wanted in the first place). Mind you, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t help any other country ever – if we are asked to help with something on the international stage and we are actually in a position to help (without denying the people in this country), then we should. I think often we end up helping (or “helping”) other countries and getting in their business without taking care of the things and people here first. Really, it’s probably one of the reasons that we’re in the mess we’re in currently. We need to quit neglecting things here at home. Beliefs and truth are something that we wanted to move away from – not in the sense of the country and the people in the country not having their own personal truth (or national truth), but more away from dogmatism with these beliefs and sense of truth (Sagittarius can be incredibly dogmatic when it functions at a lower vibrational energy). I’m thinking that we want to move away from doing this both internationally and with one another in this country…but, again, the South Node is “comfortable” and “familiar,” and considering the way things have been going in this country, I feel like this probably gets worse before it gets better during the 2021 SR (if it gets better during the SR).

The SR North Node and SR South Node are also interesting to me because in the US’s natal chart, natal Uranus is at 8 Gemini 55 and the natal Descendant is at 12 Gemini 21 which is conjunct the SR North Node, and the US’s natal Ascendant is at 12 Sagittarius 21 which is conjunct the SR South Node. Here is a picture of the US’s Natal Chart to the 2021 SR Chart:

This makes me think it might be even harder for the US to pull itself away from previous ways of operating – we really won’t want to leave the comfort of the natal Ascendant and the SR South Node. This makes me think that what happens during this year pushes us towards the dealing with the shadow side of our country in some way (how we actually deal with that is another thing completely). From the previous article about Pluto’s Return, I mentioned the importance of Uranus in the US’s natal chart and talked some about the period of time when we have our Uranus Return being more concerning than the Pluto Return shit (personally, anyway). In the US’s natal chart, the Descendant in Gemini and Uranus conjunct the Descendant makes me think of chaotic thinking and chaotic communicating. I’m also going to throw the media into this mix – Uranus in Gemini definitely speaks of “media communications” and possible manipulation to me. ALL of these ideas ARE a part of this nations shadow side (along with many others – I could go on and on). Perception and manipulation are other key things here (and again, I think the media plays a large role IN this) – and really, I think we as a country have an even more chaotic perception of daily life due to their influence (and lets face it, reality is chaotic enough anymore). This goes for ALL sides of the media – and why the media has fucking “sides” at all is stupid.

So what does this look like for this year? I would love it if instead of staying in previous ways of operating per the SR South Node, we moved into the SR North Node (but did this by choice – it’s so much easier when it’s by choice). That we recognize the shadow sides of this country rather than ignoring them. That we learn to liberate the concept of universal brotherhood (what the shadow side of this country could be at a higher vibration…if it was free from the shadow) with one another, and much of this is done by not being so worried about being “right” and instead actually listening and discussing things with one another. Not being spoon-fed things from the media about the differences between us (which, I think, oftentimes the media makes the differences between us into much bigger differences than they are in reality – which serves to keep us more divided), and instead letting those differences radically unite us. Since there is always a perception bias with any kind of news media from the person putting the content out, my advice here is for everyone in this country to do their own independent thinking outside of the news channel they watch regularly – watch a different channel (you know the one, the news station that makes you gag to have on), just to get another perspective. That doesn’t mean that you have to AGREE with the other perspective, but watch it with a flexible mind. You could do the same thing here with ANYTHING belief related – learn how to listen to the other side. The lack of being able to do JUST THIS in America is a real problem – and this is the year that this country wanted to quit ignoring the need to DO this. Better than just watching news and such from a different vantage point, perhaps actually breaking through the barrier of needing the news to play middle man and actually talking to people who hold different truths and beliefs to be true would be a good thing. This is probably what would help us most as country, and this how I’d most like to see us change.

Do we actually DO anything of this, any of the positive things that could be done? I have no fucking idea. I’d like to think as a country we do, but really, who the fuck knows.

  • The United States Pluto Return (and what it might mean)

I want to start this post off by saying that this will probably be the first of a few different posts (and hopefully a podcast with Natalie to talk about this shit) – so in other words, this single post is NOT a complete synopsis. Also, this post was not created to do the fear mongering thing (and if these posts scare anyone, I truly am sorry). I believe that knowledge is power (typical Sagittarius energy lol), and ultimately the more we know, the less we have to fear. It’s much easier when and if the other fucking shoe drops to be prepared for this possibility than to be left there in the chaos holding your proverbial dick in your hand.

Right now, the United States is going through what is known as a Pluto Return. This occurs when transit Pluto comes home to the same place that it falls in the natal chart. I look at an orb of 5-degrees applying and separating between transit Pluto and natal Pluto. Pluto’s Return actually started in early 2020 and will end for good on December 27, 2025 after transit Pluto goes beyond 2 degrees 33 minutes Aquarius in the sky. There are three dates during the Pluto Return that stand out the most – these are February 20, 2022, July 12, 2022, and December 27, 2022. These dates stand out because these are the dates that BOTH transit Pluto and natal Pluto are at 27 degrees 33 minutes Capricorn (meaning these are the dates that Transit Pluto actually comes “home” to it’s exact natal position). Below you will find a chart with a picture of the US’s natal chart with the transits for the date of February 20, 2022.

So what does a Pluto Return mean for a country? My guess: transformation. You want to pay attention to the house that natal Pluto falls in, the house that Scorpio rules in the chart (this house will also be activated since Scorpio is ruled by Pluto), and aspects made by transit Pluto to other parts of the chart (and the aspects that natal Pluto makes will also be double amplified as well). With natal to transit Pluto in the 2nd House in Capricorn, the US is definitely looking at some kind of transformation (re: breakdown) of the values of the country, of the country’s money and other resources. Those are the areas of life that will probably be most impacted with natal Pluto falling in the 2nd House. Notions of authority and mastery will also be challenged – the way this country exerts it’s authority and mastery over it’s values, over it’s money, and over it’s resources. That 12th House is also being pulled at since Scorpio rules the 12th House cusp, which makes me think that a lot of the unconscious and dark shit that we have going as a country is going to start busting at the seams. This has ALREADY started (duh), but I do think it gets worse. Holding on to power at all costs seems really likely, along with a stark polarization of the collective “mind” of the country. This country has always been kind of one side or the other mentally (picking a side and that bullshit), with natal Pluto opposite natal Mercury, but this will be massively amplified during Pluto’s return since transit Pluto will also be opposite natal Mercury. I do think this pulls at the relationships that we have as country with our fellow country-people since Gemini rules over the 7th House (and Mercury rules Gemini). Since Virgo is intercepted (which is also ruled by Mercury) it feels like we could really use some fucking organization as a country, and could also use some cold hard facts and details – but I think we as a country let pride get in the way too much. Pride over our beliefs without any actual data to back this pride up – this fucking bullshit exacerbates ALL of this. We as country are no stranger to this shit, but I think it gets even more out of control (or something along those lines). The issue seems to be people finding pride in their “side” of things, in their party or whatever, and doing the virtue signaling bullshit that both the right and the left do to prove how aligned they are with either side. I wish people would WAKE THE FUCK UP on both sides and realize that the people in power on their “side” don’t give a single fuck about them as people, their families, or their needs. I get rather, ahem, impassioned, about this, because I feel like THIS will be our “downfall” if we don’t ALL knock this bullshit off.

So….yeah. People need to wake the fuck up in the US. Unfortunately, with transit Pluto conjunct natal Pluto and opposite natal Mercury, I see the polarization getting worse. Almost like mental tunnel vision and not being able to see beyond what their side sees – it feels really obsessive here. This might actually be the reason that as I’ve been looking at these charts, I have had the thought run through my mind “we don’t want your kind here.” This probably does have to do with the different sides of alignment. It would be really great if people from other sides of the political spectrum could come together (both in actual politics and even just regular people) and actually talk about things – see things from other points of view. The same thing could be said about any kind of belief that we as a country can be prideful about and that can also be polarizing (religious, philosophical, etc.). THIS should be encouraged by outlets like the media on BOTH sides – they have a lot of power and they should start fucking using it like they aren’t a gaggle of assclowns. There is a reason that we got to how we are as a country right now, and I think a lot of it has to do with our lack of ability as a country to discern and think critically ….. which is also highlighted by Virgo intercepted in the US’s natal chart and this being lit up with natal Mercury double touched by Pluto (in natal and transit).

Honestly though, Pluto’s return isn’t the most concerning thing about all of this. I am most concerned for when Uranus enters Gemini for good in 2026. I say for “good” because Uranus will enter Gemini in 2025, but will then retrograde back into Taurus for a bit before settling in Gemini for good on April 27, 2026. I’m going to throw some dates up here …. you’ll see why it’s concerning.

**At the time the country was “born” we had Pluto at 27 Capricorn 23 and Uranus at 8 Gemini 55 – Revolutionary War took place at this time

**Transit Pluto square Natal Pluto in the 1850s (leading up to the Civil War) & then Uranus in Gemini from 1859 through 1866 – Civil War

Transit Pluto opposing Natal Pluto from 1933 through 1941 (leading up to the US involvement in WWII) & Uranus in Gemini from 1941, then for good in 1942 through 1949 – much of that during WWII (when the US was involved)

The only deviation from this was when Transit Pluto in Libra was square Natal Pluto from about 1980 to 1985. There wasn’t a war at this time (though there were probably some very close calls – closer than we probably realize), and Uranus’ Return (Transit Uranus in Gemini) didn’t follow it. I’m thinking the lack of Transit Uranus entering Gemini probably kept the US from an all out open war with the USSR.

So, that’s some disturbing shit to sit with. Uranus Returns happen roughly every 88 years, and I feel like Uranus holds a “special” place in the US’s chart since Uranus is conjunct the Descendant (meaning that Uranus in the US’s natal chart touches the “shadow side” of the country. Just to be clear, I don’t believe that this is universally the case for every country – you always have to take the WHOLE chart into account. In the case of the US it seems that the coming home of Uranus correlates with war – historically anyway. Transit Uranus won’t actually begin it’s conjunction with natal Uranus until early July 2026 when it hits 3 Gemini 55 in the sky (making that 5-degree applying conjunction I mentioned earlier). Here is a chart for one of the exact dates for when transit Uranus is exactly conjunct natal Uranus on July 27, 2027.

Transit Uranus will also be exactly conjunct natal Uranus on November 6, 2027, and again on May 11, 2028, just FYI.

Pluto’s Return will absolutely be the catalyst for whatever Uranus in Gemini brings. Things like the US Dollar tanking (I don’t know if it will fully collapse….unless the powers that be want that to happen that is – maybe they do). I definitely think there will be some changes with our money, though. This one feels fucking huge. How our money is tied to natural resources might also change – this one also feels possible. Values and the exertion of such also seem very up for grabs. I think, through Pluto’s Return, we as a country need to remember that our fellow country-people brothers and sisters are not the enemy (regardless of our individual differences). This is incredibly important – for Gemini, where Uranus will be after Pluto’s Return, represents “universal brotherhood” at it’s highest vibration. We just have to be able to see beyond all the noise to be able to embrace this. Otherwise, if we don’t, it just seems like complete fucking chaos.

  • INTRODUCING THE STAR CARDS

    Hey Everyone!

So I haven’t been as active on here lately, but that is because I have been very busy! On top of all the client work I’ve had the past few months (which, by the way, I am so grateful to all of y’all that have hired me), myself and probably one of the dearest friends I’ve ever had, Natalie Mithqal, decided to create something. And without further ado, here are the Star Cards.

These little beauties can be used to help you learn how to read your own (or anyone’s chart)! They are 45 cards and an over 100 page notebook for study (and you can actually take notes in the damn thing!). Here is a layout of all of the cards (in the proof version) if you want to get a better idea of what is included in full.

There are 12 Sign cards, 10 Planet cards, 12 House cards, 6 Aspect cards, and 5 “Miscellaneous” cards (the North Node, the South Node, Chiron, Black Moon Lilith, and the Sun/Moon Midpoint). The backs have the glyphs for each thing talked about on the front.

I am pretty visual person, so having the sign, planet, and house cards all next to one another laid out helps to create the synthesis visually between the different parts of the chart. Start easy first (with just a planet in a house, or just a planet in a sign), and then moving on to more complicated synthesis – such as a planet/house/sign combo. Then moving on to throwing in aspects between the different planet/house/sign combos in your chart. These are just really, really cool. And they FEEL really nice, too! These are very much the kinds of learning tools that both Natalie and myself wish had been around when we started learning this astro language many years ago. And NOW they EXIST!

That’s just the introduction video to the Star Cards. If you want to see more videos about them, lol, I have them on IG @saturnseasonastrology and @letsfuckwithastrology (Let’s Fuck with Astrology is the joint venture between Natalie and myself). We also have a YouTube channel to check out & subscribe if you want 😊🙃 here is the link:

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJcYjT5uheLdqbJwcUSdJ4A

If you would like to purchase the Star Cards, you can do so below. We do free shipping here in the US (and we are eating the taxes, so you won’t have to pay those). We have two options below for purchase:
-First option below is for the set of cards and the physical book. This option is $50 USD.
-The second option below is for the set of cards, but instead of coming with a physical copy of the book, we will email you a PDF copy of the book. This option is $30 USD.
We also ship internationally, but don’t do free shipping for international orders. You can bet your ass my Capricorn Moon and Saturn Rising will be looking to find you the cheapest shipping option, though!

    Star Cards

THE MOTHERFUCKING STAR CARDS! (Both the Star Cards and the physical book)

    $50.00

  • More on Out of Bounds (OOB) Planets

Yesterday I brought up the idea of out of bounds planets on the subreddit during the “Guess the Asshole” game. The following is posted to the subreddit, but I figured I would also post it here on the blog for those of you that don’t do the reddit thing (and there is probably some overlap from my previous OOB posts from about a year and a half ago).

The definition for Out of Bounds (OOB) planets is “A planet that exceeds a declination of 23-degrees 26 minutes 28 seconds either North or South of the celestial equator.”

Also, just for definitions sake, Declinations are the movements of the planets North and South of the celestial equator. They can create major aspects called **parallels** and **contra-parallels.** Parallels operate like conjunctions and contra-parallels operate like oppositions.  This is another discussion for another post entirely, lol, but I did figure it should be mentioned.)

Once a planet is out of bounds it is kind of free do to as it pleases. It’s no longer under the dominion of the Sun meaning that it can behave however it sees fit to behave. The planets that have the ability to go OOB are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter (which does so rarely), Uranus, and Pluto. The Sun, Saturn and Neptune don’t go OOB, and this is because they have the a very similar declination to the Sun. The Moon is the planet that goes OOB the most often, and the years that the North Node is closest to 0-degrees Aries are the years that you will see the Moon go OOB A LOT. In these years you will also see an upswing in OOB action across all the planets that can go OOB.

So….what happens when a planet goes OOB? That planet usually has a way of testing the limits. What limits exactly? It usually has to do with limits that we collectively place on one another in society (what’s “acceptable” and what’s “not acceptable” kind of shit). These are planets that push boundaries and want to push through any “barrier” that seems to exist. These planets don’t give a fuck about shit like that, giving rules and the status quo a giant middle finger. This can be a really great thing; we do need planets like this and the people that have them to move society forward…..they are usually the change makers in some capacity either in their own sphere of influence (in a micro way) or in collective ways on a larger scale (in a macro way). What happens TO a planet when it goes OOB? Below you will find a list of both the positive and negative sides to the planets being OOB. People that have OOB planets may find that they don’t exhibit ONLY the positive or the negative sides to the planet, but they may instead find they encompass a little of both.

**Moon OOB:**This usually adds an amplification of intuition to the way the Moon functions and the native usually knows this (and would be smart to use this intuition). The emotions are pretty strong and intense regardless of sign and regardless if the native shows them openly or not. It causes the native to dance to beat of their own drum (to the music running through their head that other people aren’t hearing). These people generally need a lot of emotional freedom and have a high degree of emotional intelligence. It helps the native to have a natural understanding of other people and they are usually like a spark of inspiration (both to themselves and to other people). On the negative side of things, you could find the Moon OOB causes the native to have extreme mood swings, a complete disregard for rules and social conventions (to the point of being to their detriment), and a complete lack of sympathy/empathy (though I don’t see it manifest this particular way often, it is possible). These people might also have habits that are self-destructive in nature (and this is the particular negative trait that I have noticed people that exemplify the positive traits of an OOB Moon overall might still have to battle with).

**Mercury OOB:** This can cause the native to be willing to communicate the things that other people wouldn’t dare communicate (to say the unspeakable). They are usually pretty intelligent and their mind operates in a different way than the rest of us. There is usually a talent for connecting people via communication and even media, and they usually make pretty great teachers and speakers. Perception is very important for these natives, and how they perceive the information that they are taking into their mind; if they function from the positive side of an OOB Mercury their perception is usually on point. On the negative end of the spectrum, the perception that these people have can be wildly off (they might misunderstand what is going on around them entirely). It can also cause obsessive and/or compulsive thoughts, and can cause the way that they think differently to be SO different that they end up not feeling socially connected to anyone and/or to disconnect entirely.

**Venus OOB:** This planet being OOB can make the native highly desirable in their own sphere of influence on a micro level and publicly on a macro level. They generally have really great taste and know “beauty” (even if it’s different than what the collective at large finds “beautiful”). Because of this these natives are generally ahead of trends and challenge (and change) the collective’s notion of what “beauty” is. They usually have a knack for making other people feel very at ease in their presence, and for being able to give other people what they need in any given situation. Venus OOB usually adds oodles of magnetism and charisma; these people have “IT” (or “zsa-zsa-zou”) and they are usually pretty entertaining with a fair amount of artistic ability. Values are another thing that stand out here; these people might value things in a different way than most, or their values in general might be different. On the negative side, Venus OOB can cause someone to be too hedonistic, materialistic, and envious of what other people have (not focusing on what THEY have). There can be something “unusual” about their notion of relationships and they somehow need to break boundaries on what is accepted in relationships and what isn’t (this one can be a positive or negative, it really depends on WHAT that is and how they use it).

**Mars OOB:** This can cause the native to be super fucking driven; these are the people that really have an ability to get shit done. Their stamina is usually unparalleled and they have a tremendous amount of leadership ability. They usually feel an urge to act on their instincts and impulses (and THIS can be positive or negative, depending on what those instincts and impulses  are telling them to do). They might seem more “masculine” in nature and they usually have a good amount of confidence that they want to act on and exhibit. On the negative end of things, this can cause the person to come off as incredibly selfish, forceful, and/or dominating. Their temper can be an issue; Mars OOB can cause the person to get really fucking pissed off really fucking quick (sometimes this seems nonsensical in nature) with possibly violent results.

**Jupiter OOB:** When Jupiter is OOB it usually adds an amplification of luck for the native in their life. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that they are the ones that win the lottery or anything like that, but these people might seem luckier in general (they might even FEEL luckier than a lot of people). Their beliefs are usually very strong, and it might even cause them to have a belief in the impossible (not easily giving up on this). There might be a deep need to travel and see the world in a way that goes WAY beyond Jupiters need to travel (like they need travel like the air they breathe). These people have a need to expand themselves beyond any limits that currently exist and this is usually done in a BIG way. Expansion is one of those things that can really be a positive or a negative thing – it really depends HOW they are expanding and in what area they are trying to expand. Dogmatism is another negative trait of Jupiter OOB (but this is to an extreme level).

**Uranus OOB:**These people, like the Moon OOB, need a whole bunch of freedom. They don’t allow anyone or anything to fence them in. These are the people who are more than willing to try things that have never been tried before for the sake of innovation and experimentation. The rebels, the revolutionaries, the humanitarians, and the weirdos (and this may be seen publicly on a larger scale or within family and friend groups on a smaller scale – these people naturally stand out). There is usually a deep feeling of being different from other people that goes beyond the usual notion of Uranian difference, which they can either use to their advantage or their detriment. These people can completely detach themselves from everything if they want (which can be both a good thing or a bad thing depending on the circumstance). Their behavior can be downright shocking or radical just for the pure sake of these which can put others that are more conventional “off” and cause them not to be taken as seriously in their quest for liberation (both personally and collectively).

**Pluto OOB:** This planet being OOB can cause the native to have a shit load of intensity and/or magnetism (and this kind of intensity goes beyond Pluto’s normal intensity and magnetism levels). They are are passionate, usually pretty sexual (maybe even hyper-sexual), and usually have very strong convictions about things. Secrets usually mean a lot to these people, and they are more inclined than most to hang on to their secrets (and those of other people). These people usually go through several distinct periods in their lifetimes and these periods show their many marked soul transformations (and they could even go through a few different transformations during one period). This planet OOB can also cause a host of darker things to come out in the personality; these people might have a shit load of rage and can probably be incredibly violent and vengeful (though this might not be out in the open but more something these natives keep secret). I feel like there is a need for people with Pluto OOB to embrace the darkness and heaviness of Pluto…..not necessarily in the sense of acting on any “dark” desires but admitting they exist and handling them in a way that doesn’t hurt themselves or anyone else (should this exist in the native).

And just to be clear, even some of the positive traits mentioned above could be utilized in a negative capacity in some way. Same thing goes for the more negative traits, which if applied positively could be a positive thing. My point is not everything is black and white.

How can YOU find out if you have any planets out of bounds? Go to http://www.astro.com and create your chart (first go to “free horoscopes” at the top of the page and then go to extended chart selection and enter in your information). Once you pull the actual chart you will see a button above the chart that says “PDF additional tables.” Click on that and something called “Natal Chart (Data Sheet)” will appear. Under the chart that says “Planet Positions” you will see a column for “Declination.” Check the declinations for the planets and if you have a planet that is at a declination of 23-degrees 26 minutes 28 seconds or beyond you have an out of bounds planet. If you find you have an OOB planet think about HOW that planet manifests in an OOB way in your life. Share below how you feel the OOB planet plays out in your life (if you feel like sharing). I know I’d personally love to hear your experiences with them. And if you would like for me to read for you, that can be done here 🙂

  • Zachary Bernhardt’s Last Seen Chart

On September 11, 2000, Zachary Bernhardt went missing from the apartment that he lived in with his mother in Clearwater, Florida. He disappeared literally without a trace (the police photos of the apartment showed nothing that seemed to be out of place); it’s almost as if he just up and vanished. He was 8 years old when he went missing; he’d be 28 today.

From what I can find about him and mother’s relationship, it appears that it was good and “normal” (I only put normal in quotes, because really, what the fuck is normal anyway?). She was a single mother (his father doesn’t appear to have ever been in the picture) and worked different jobs throughout his life to support both of them. At the time of his disappearance, she was working the night shift (which pays more usually), but she was off the night that he went missing. According to her account, they spent the evening hanging out together and he fell asleep sometime around 11 pm. With her being on a night shift with her job, she decided to stay awake when he went to sleep to stay on her regular schedule. She decided to leave him asleep in the apartment around 2 am unattended (last time he was seen) to go for a random swim (in her clothes) and to walk around the complex. She also left the front door unlocked while she was gone. After coming home and taking a shower due to the impromptu swimming in her clothes thing (and this is someone who claimed to “never” swim, and also claimed to not even LIKE swimming), she noticed that he was missing from the bed around 4 am.
…..You probably thought all of this sounded totally normal until about 3 sentences back. Yeah, me too. This case is fucking weird. Was it just the perfect storm of negligence/being a dumb-ass that gave someone else an open invitation to come in and snatch Zachary from his mother’s bed? Or is there something else more sinister going on in terms of the mother’s involvement? Let’s turn to the last seen chart for Zachary.

Last Seen Chart for Zachary Bernhardt on September 11, 2000 at 2 am in Clearwater, FL

This chart functions a little different than the other “last seen” and “death charts” that I’ve done a write up on. The reason for that is when you are looking at a missing person chart for a child/minor, you also want to take the cusp of the 5th house/the planetary ruler of the 5th house into account. These charts tend to be a little more fluid for this very reason. The 7th house is always the perpetrator/catalyst, but the Ascendant and the 5th house cusp represent the child (missing person). Oftentimes the Ascendant also rules over the parent(s)/legal caregiver(s), since they are the guardian(s) of the child (and in a case like this one, I would definitely consider the mother to be ruled by the Ascendant). The Moon will also operate as co-ruler in these kinds of charts regardless of the missing person/deceased being a child or adult.

—-So, in this chart we have the Ascendant @ 9 Cancer 57, with the Moon falling in the 8th house @ 19 Aquarius 34. The Moon in the 8th house is NEVER a good sign for “life” in the cases of missing people (since, in these sorts of charts, you can think of the 8th house as the “death house” and the Moon is always co-ruler of the missing person). From the Moon in Aquarius (by way of dispositions), you’d next look to Uranus (since Uranus rules over Aquarius). Uranus is IN Aquarius in the 8th house conjunct the Moon. The chain of dispositions from the Ascendant ends here.
***I won’t lie, just from this alone, it makes me think that his mother AT LEAST KNOWS more about his disappearance than she has told anyone. **
—-The Descendant/ruler of the 7th house is @ 9 Capricorn 57, with Saturn falling in the 11th house @ 0 Gemini 59. Saturn in Taurus in the 11th will dispose of itself to Mercury in Libra in the 4th (since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini). From there, Mercury in Libra disposes of itself to Venus in Libra in the 4th house (since Venus rules over Libra). This disposition chain ends here. Even more interesting with this chain is that the 4th/10th houses have Libra and Aries intercepted inside their bounds. Interceptions in these sorts of charts tend to both put a fog of unclarity over the the house, along with highlighting the energy there.
—-We also need to look at the 5th house cusp (since the 5th house represents children). The 5th house in this chart is ruled by Scorpio, which makes Pluto a marker for Zachary. This marker in this chart is the only one that represents Zachary and no one else. Pluto is in the 6th house @ 10 Sagittarius 57. When you find planetary markers for missing people in the 6th house, there seems to be a trend that those people aren’t found (I do hope that’s not the case here). Pluto in the 6th house will dispose of itself to Jupiter in Gemini the 12th (since Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter). From there, Jupiter disposes of itself to Mercury in Libra in the 4th (since Gemini is ruled by Mercury), and Mercury will dispose of itself to Venus in Libra in the 4th (since Libra is ruled by Venus). The 5th house chain, Zachary’s Chain, ends here.

There are a lot of curious things in this this chart to take note of:
-—The ruler of the Ascendant (in this case, The Moon) in the 8th house. This can be part of a death pattern (almost always functions this way).
-—The ruler of the 12th house (Mercury, since the 12th is ruled by Gemini) in the 4th house. This can be part of a death pattern.
-—The 4th house ruler IN the 4th house can show the involvement of a family member (and we have Virgo ruling the 4th house cusp, with Mercury inside the 4th house). The interceptions here are interesting, and makes me think that while a family member probably was involved, it isn’t in the way that may be suspected (or in the manner that it’s suspected).
—-The 11th house ruler IN the 4th house (Taurus ruling the 11th house and Venus falling in the 4th) can show someone that either IS involved with the perpetrator/catalyst (romantically probably) or has been involved with them in the past is somehow involved in all of this. In this case I think you’d be looking at a boyfriend or a fuckboy (current or ex) of the mom’s having something to do with this.
—-You also have the marker for Zachary (Pluto) being opposite Saturn, and this opposition is applying or sinister since Saturn is the one to catch up to Pluto (the slower moving planet of the two).
—-Aquarius rules over the 8th house. This makes me think that the manner of death here is something “weird.” Something probably pretty unexpected that happened suddenly. In the 8th house you have Neptune, and that Uranus/Moon conjunction (which is emotionally erratic in this case, or feels that way to me here). The emotional erraticism could either describe an action that led to his death OR an emotionally erratic way of handling his death.
—-Pisces rules over the 10th house cusp, which tends to show the way that law enforcement handles the case and the way the public responds to the case. Pisces can bring a lack of clarity to any situation, and here I feel like law enforcement failed to do something that they should’ve done, or notice something that they were supposed to notice. I feel like they let something slip between the cracks (and were too focused on leads that were false).

With all of that said, I think there are two possible things that could’ve happened to Zachary on the night that he went missing. Either way, I do think that his mother was involved:
    1. His death was accidental, though somehow drug involved. When researching this case, it seems that people have whispered (gossiped) about his mom frequenting bars (and places like that) on her nights off after Zachary went to bed. It has also been whispered that she would drug him with medicine to keep him asleep/make him to go sleep. Is any of this actual fact? No, I don’t think so. But! I can definitely see the possibility of that here with Neptune falling in the 8th (can point to things like drugs and poisoning being the cause of death), and the Uranus/Moon conjunction also in the 8th could point to death being quick (though unexpected).
**There are a few eye witnesses that saw his mom’s car leave the apartment complex that evening and come back a couple of times. Some suspect that once Zachary went to sleep that nigh she went out bar hopping (or something like that). If any of these things that were whispered about her behavior were true, she might have been drugging him to keep him sleeping while she was gone. **
    2. I think it’s very possible that he was smothered in his sleep (possibly medicated before he went to bed to make this easier, to cause him put up less of a fight), or even drugged/poisoned on purpose (for the purpose of killing him). I think whatever DID happen to him did happen in the home, especially with both Zachary’s chain and the Descendant chain of dispositions ending in with Venus in Libra the 4th house (the house of the home among other things). Who was the actual person to take Zachary out? I think it was either the mother, or someone like a fuckboytoy that she got to do this for her.
—-I definitely feel that after he died, his mother had someone else dispose of his body (and I think this was the case regardless of it being an accidental or purposeful death). Here in this chart, that Saturn in Gemini represents the perpetrator (and in this case there definitely appears to be dual involvement, both the mother and someone else)….and that making the applying/sinister aspect with Zachary, represented by Pluto, just makes this stand out more. She could’ve found him dead from giving him too much of some medicine (by accident), gave him too much medicine on purpose to kill him, or smothered him in his sleep. If she did either of the purposeful scenarios, this would’ve been financially motivated-like not having the money to care for both of them and deciding that things would be easier if he wasn’t around. I mention that because Mars, the ruler of intercepted Aries, falls in the 2nd house (which deals with personal resources-perhaps some hidden anger or financial issues?). I’m not sure if you can take out anything like life-insurance on a child, but I do think that she may have gained (or thought she would gain) something financially from his death…if his death wasn’t an accident.

Maps with the Radius set to 9 Cancer 57, and some of the major angles and lines on the chart being mapped on map.

The blue marker in the center of the map is the location for their apartment complex (when it existed, I actually don’t think it is functional any more…or if it is, I think it functions under a different name). I mapped a bunch of different lines on this map, but the ones that stand out the most to me are the cluster of pinkish/purple lines to the south of the marker, and the turquoise line going north east of the marker. The Pinkish/Purple lines are lines for the IC through Venus (also mapping 0 degrees Libra since that’s where the interception begins). The turquoise line is the Saturn line, and Saturn tends to represent the body so it seems possible that he could be found along this line. I don’t know what the landscape of Clearwater looked like in 2000, but I think if there was any construction going on near the lines that I mentioned (especially construction that was going on because the original structure burned down or had fire damage), I might think that those place would be a good place to look for him. I would think that if he had been put in a construction zone, whatever was built IN that construction area is probably much better than what had previously been there (noticeably so….this would be something that people would notice the contrast with the before and after of the structure). I also wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this location is somehow tied to the workplace of the other person involved in this case (the person involved with the mother). This might be an actual place that this person worked, or just in the same general area that they worked (a place they saw/passed by every day). It could even be a place that the mother passed by every day on her way to work.

  • “Last Seen” Chart for Naya Rivera

Last seen charts are both ominous and of much interest to me. I’d like to think that I can eventually help to use my astrological “powers” for good, and I can’t think of anything more “good” than helping to give families answers to their missing loved ones whereabouts and what happened to them in the first place.

At this point, a lot of people are aware that Naya Rivera (of Glee fame, among other things) went missing in Lake Piru on July 8th, 2020. The circumstances of this case are, well, just kind of weird and ask more questions than they answer. She rented a boat and was last seen around 1 pm with her little boy going out into the water. Hours later, around 4:30 pm, someone called 911 to alert authorities that there was a toddler on a boat in the lake (her Son), unaccompanied. Exactly what has been ascertained from the boy is a little unclear (to me anyway), though that’s totally understandable. He’s, I’m sure, in shock, and he’s only 4. It sounds like they were swimming, or she was just swimming, and she never got back into the boat. My heart absolutely breaks for her son and her whole family (and I’m not that much of an emotional person, really….but this situation is just really, really sad). Because I had (and still obviously have) some questions about what happened to her, I decided to pull a “Last Seen” chart to try to shed some light on the situation. It is below:

The “Last Seen” Chart for Naya Rivera on July 8, 2020 @ 1 pm (approximation) in Ventura County, CA (also an approximation).

When looking at these charts, you use horary astrology techniques. The Ascendant & 1st House (circled in Purple) represents the person in Question (Naya). The Descendant (also circled in Purple) & 7th House typically represent the perpetrator should one exist. The Moon is always considered “co-ruler” in these sorts of charts, so you definitely want to look at this as well (it’s circled above in the 5th house in Orange). In this case, Libra rules the Ascendant and Aries rules the Descendant. Using the technique, one way that you know an event chart is “good” is when the Ascendant falls between 5 and 25 degrees of the sign (anything from 0 to 5 degrees or 25 to 30 degrees can make things a little less “clear”). The 1st house is empty, as is the 7th (this automatically makes me think that there wasn’t actually a perpetrator involved, but I still want to look closer, anyway). The next thing that you want to look at is where the ruler of both Libra and Aries fall in the chart, and to see if they aspect one another. This is another tip off that the chart in question is “good:” when the ruler of the Ascendant and the Descendant aspect one another. In this case, we have Mars in the 6th house in Aries making a sextile with Venus in the 8th in Gemini.

Now, the first thing that popped out to me right away with this chart is the fact that Venus, the chart ruler, falls in the 8th House. While I don’t correlate the 8th house with physical death all of the time in general practice, using this sort of horary technique is different. The chart ruler in the 8th house almost always signifies that the person has passed on. It falls in Gemini (which rules over things like the lungs and breathing), while Taurus, the 8th house cusp ruler, deals with things like ”swallowing.” Swallowing too much water and not able to breathe, perhaps? Uranus is right on the cusp of the 8th house, and since Uranus is all about shocking change, this seems very much like something that was a “freak accident.”

A few other things stand out to me. The Moon in the 5th in Pisces makes sense here, since she was out having a good time with her little boy (Moon/5th house) in water (Pisces). Aries ruling the Descendant and Mars in the 6th could show something like an underlying health condition (perhaps something to do with her breathing….asthma or something of the sort?). I also notice that Mars is really tightly square Mercury-the only harsh aspect that Mars makes. This makes me think that she could’ve hit her head on something, knocked herself out, and drowned. I get the distinct feeling that there wasn’t a whole lot of struggle with her death (a lot of that is pure intuition), which leads me to think that she may have been unconscious when she went under OR it happened so quickly that she didn’t really have time to react (such as getting caught in an undertow…I’m not sure if Lake Piru has those or not).

When looking at these sorts of charts you also want to take Saturn into account (for it tends to represent the body) and the 4th/10th axis. The 10th house in a chart like this can represent Law Enforcement and the public’s response to the case (among other things, though for THIS chart I’m just focusing on those things). With the 10th house ruled by Cancer, the public (and even Law Enforcement) is going to have a more emotional response to this case, which will only help in finding her body. And I DO think that her body will be found. The Sun on the cusp of the 10th house (super close to the Midheaven) will keep that light focused on the case until she is found. And she probably WILL be found in the water since the Sun makes a trine to Neptune (which is water). Saturn is found in the 4th house, and as I mentioned before, Saturn tends to show the location of the body. The 4th house sort of represents the “womb and the tomb,” so having it fall here kind of backs up the theory that it’s a body that we’re looking for.

So what does one “do” with this information? The next step would be to map out, based on the chart, where the body could be located. It’s tricky when something happens in water….people/bodies float and move around, which makes mapping hard. It’s also difficult because I don’t have exact coordinates of where they found her son on the boat (but even then, boats can drift). I will say that after playing around with the mapping a little bit, I have a feeling that her body initially drifted the way of Devil’s Cove. Even if she sunk right beneath the boat I still think she drifted somewhat that way. Where she is actually found in the water is another matter entirely. But I DO think she will be found.

  • What the Hell is a Midpoint in Astrology (and how to use them)

What the Hell is a Midpoint in Astrology (and how to use them)

Midpoints! A very important astrological concept and one that is not talked about as frequently as they should be. So I am here to talk about them now, hahaha. A midpoint is essentially the equal distance between two planets (or celestial bodies). You can take the midpoint from planets that are aspecting one another in a chart, or planets that don’t aspect one another. Midpoints can be used either way.

How to actually calculate the midpoints for any planet/celestial body aspect? You can either use a computer generated program, or you can do them by hand. You will need to turn the degrees to the 360 degree zodiac first. The 360 degree zodiac is as follows:
    Aries: 0 to 30 degrees
    Taurus: 30 to 60 degrees.
    Gemini: 60 to 90 degrees.
    Cancer: 90 to 120 degrees
    Leo: 120 to 150 degrees
    Virgo: 150 to 180 degrees

    Libra: 180 to 210 degrees
    Scorpio: 210 to 240 degrees
    Sagittarius: 240 to 270 degrees
    Capricorn: 270 to 300 degrees
    Aquarius: 300 to 330 degrees
    Pisces: 330 to 360 degrees

So, this is my chart above. I have the Sun and Moon Circled in Yellow. The software I’m using (Astro Gold) is able to pull midpoints, but a lot of them don’t seem to be able to do this. If I wanted to find this midpoint by hand, I would have done this:
    ——–Turn 1 Sagittarius 45 to 241 Sagittarius 45
    ——–Turn 16 Capricorn 03 to 286 Capricorn 03
Then you add them together (adding the degrees and the minutes separately):
    ——-Degrees: 241 + 286 = 527
    ——-Minutes: 45 + 03 = 48
Then you divide the degrees & minutes by two:
    ——527/2 = 263.5 which translates to 23 degrees Sagittarius
    ——48/2 = 24 minutes
Then you add in the .5 + .24 (which is the minutes) and you get .78. Translate this to degrees and it looks like 1.18. Then you add:
    ——23 degrees Sagittarius + 1.18 and you get 24 Sagittarius 18 minutes.
**Really, you don’t even have to mess with the “minutes” part of all of this and can focus solely on the degrees. If you didn’t mess with the degrees here, you would get 23 Sagittarius 30 as the Sun/Moon Midpoint. It just depends how precise you want to be.**
***Sometimes the midpoints don’t come out completely clean like that after dividing by 2. For example, if you have your Sun at 12 degrees 00 Aries and your Moon at 24 Pisces 00, this would change them to 12 Aries 00 and 354 Pisces 00. Added together you get 366, and when diving by 2 you get 183. Now, 183 translates to 3 degrees Libra which is clearly NOT the midpoint between a Sun in Aries and Moon in Pisces. However, look to its opposition on the other end of the Axis, which is 3 degrees Aries….which absolutely IS the midpoint.

You can literally calculate the midpoint for any planets, whether or not they make an aspect. When calculating them between planets that form no aspect, the midpoint just shows where these two planetary energies meet one another halfway. For example, say your Venus and Jupiter formed no aspect, but you wanted to know where the midpoint was anyway. Finding that midpoint could show a place in our chart where we have the ability to expand (Jupiter) upon our love (Venus)..or any other Venus and Jupiter expressions. Any planets that happen to aspect the midpoint (especially the conjunction) would flavor the midpoint further. For example, say the Venus/Jupiter Midpoint was within 1° of the Moon. This might create a scenario where your emotional core (your Moon) is a vehicle to be able to expand upon the love that the Midpoint between Venus and Jupiter offers.

I think that Midpoints are most useful when looking at the midpoints not just between random planets, but planets that actually aspect one another. They show the place where the energy between the two planets is “met halfway,” either via frustration (as with the challenging aspects) or harmony (as with the easier aspects). Challenging aspects spur growth, so the midpoint of a challenging aspect (like the square) can show how and where to release the tension from the aspect. On the flip side, harmonious aspects can show where we can become lazy (like with the trine), and the midpoint of the trine might show us how to best battle that should it be an issue for the native.
—Personally, I think they’re most important when looking at the challenging aspects, the square, the opposition and the quincunx. This midpoint can help to show where and how (by house and sign) to release the tension from the square aspect, making them easier to deal with over all. For the opposition, the midpoint can show how and where we stop going back and forth between the two planets by sign and house. For the quincunx aspect, the midpoint can be the place where the planets actually are able to “see” one another. This is important for the quincunx aspect because the planets in this aspect don’t understand or see one another easily. The Midpoint gives them a way to “see.”

Some of the most important midpoints in the chart to look at generally are the the Sun/Moon Midpoint and the Ascendant/Midheaven Midpoint. The Sun/Moon Midpoint shows where the masculine & the feminine/the life force & the emotional core come together in our chart and “marry” one another. The Ascendant/Midheaven Midpoint shows where our natural sense of self & the highest and most idealized form of ourselves come together and “marry” one another, and how we are able to reconcile that struggle (and it *usually* is a struggle). As far as the your own individual chart goes, you will want to look at the two midpoints mentioned above, but also pay close attention to the square, opposition and quincunx aspects and their midpoints.

When trying to figure out what a Midpoint means, think about the energy of the planets in question. For example, with the midpoint between Moon and Pluto, you would be looking at the merging of the emotions (Moon) and intensity (Pluto)…along with other Moon & Pluto expressions. For Mars and Uranus, you would be looking at the merging of one’s drive (Mars) & liberation (Uranus)…along with other Mars & Uranus expressions.

  • WTF is a Yod in an Astrology Chart (and how to read them)

Yod, Yod, Yod…..what the fuck is a Yod in astrology? I see this question (though maybe not asked this exact same way, hahaha) posted quite frequently on different forums and even by my own clients. People are always wondering (and with good reason!) what the fuck the Yod in their chart means for them. They’ve been popping up in my own client’s charts more recently, and I figured this was the time to actually do a post on them.
**Side note –click this if you would like for me to do any kind of chart reading for you 🙂
**If you are more of a watcher than a reader….video incoming below:

The Yod (also known as The Finger of God) is an aspect, like the one mentioned in the chart above, where you have two planets sextile (60°) one another with the two sextile planets quincunx/inconjunct (150°) from the same planet (or the apex of the Yod). The sextile planets are in harmony, operating on the same wavelength, while both of those planets are putting stress on the apex of the Yod through the quincunx aspects. While the sextile is harmonious, usually until the Yod is worked through the sextile may operate at the lower end vibrationally (i.e.: exhibiting the least desirable traits of the sextile in question) due to the quincunx stress.

To understand what a Yod is, I suppose you need to first understand what a quincunx aspect is. The 150° aspect means that you’re (more than likely) dealing with two different sign energies that don’t understand one another. One sign is usually better expressed and understood, while the other one is completely left out. In the case of the Yod, it’s usually the apex planet that is left out (since there will be a harmony felt between the two sextile planets while neglecting the Yod). There is a lack of being able to incorporate the apex planetary energies between not only one other planet + the apex planet, but from two! This will definitely be felt by the apex planet through the sign and house in which it falls, begging to be worked through (and begging not to feel so “separate” from these other planets in the chart). It’s less constant tension like in the case of the square aspect, and more of a constant nagging or longing. It also may feel that you don’t fully have control over anything going on here (thus the Finger of God name comes into play). So, the apex of the Yod needs to feel together with these other two planets, and with the rest of the chart. Depending on what the apex planet is, and where it falls, and all that good stuff will help to shine a light on WHAT that actually is. If Mars is the apex of the Yod, you’re looking at energy dealing with your drive and impulse. If Venus is the apex, you’re looking at energy dealing with love (how you love and need to be loved, along with your values). And that apex planet really is a gift of sorts….energy that your soul really wanted to master this time around and use to your benefit.

How exactly you work through Yod’s has a lot to do with understanding the apex planet. Really get to know it and how it functions. Understand how you might be leaving it out/how to incorporate it better in your life. Different transits also play a role in understanding the Yod better. Transits to the different parts of the Yod (specifically the apex) are important, especially transits that are in conjunction and opposition to the planets that make up the Yod. A major sort of transit by conjunction that will light up the Yod are outer planet transits to the mid-point between the two sextile planets in this aspect. This midpoint is opposite the apex planet. While the outer planet conjunctions to this midpoint aren’t really that comfortable for the person to go through, they usually do allow for tremendous growth through the challenge. If one should go through this, it may really feel like life has hit a sort of “crisis” point….and this crisis point is wanting that apex planet to be integrated and used properly.

Since these aspects aren’t super, super common, I have always felt that they have karmic implications to them (especially due to the lack of control or even fated quality about them). How exactly that would come about would depend on what that planet is, the motion of the planet, and everything else going on in the chart.

**I’d also like to make mention that really, when considering what in the chart creates a Yod, the focus probably should be on planets. I say “probably should be” because there are cases where I will consider something to be a Yod when it traditionally wouldn’t be considered one. For instance, let’s say there is something that looks like a Yod happening with the Midheaven in Aries, Mars in Aquarius and Mercury in Virgo. Traditionally this wouldn’t be considered a Yod but I would count it since Mars is the planetary ruler of the Midheaven in Aries. Another mention should be made that with the traditional definition of a Yod the apex planet is always the fastest moving planet. While I do think the Yod probably has more punch when the Apex planet is the fastest moving planet, I still think it should be looked at as something that may function in a Yod-like way.
