Astrological Ramblings

**Just for reference, here is the original post I did on retrograde planets****Lol just for good measure, here is the first YouTube Video about this stuff, and here is the second You Tube Video.** This is a post I have been wanting to write for a while, but outside of work for my clients and taking care of my son, my focus has been very preoccupied with the Galactic Center, lol. I’m still doing the GC stuff (obviously), but in my GC research I have been looking at retrograde planets closely. Specifically Jupiter Rx, but ALL retrograde planets seem to have an affinity for the GC energy…..or rather, retrograde motion in general just seems to have an affinity for the GC. Both the GC and Rx Motion CHANGE the planet involved. It’s this change that I want to talk about for a second….or more than a second hahahaha (I know my ass can get wordy as fuck), especially this change in terms of a planet being retrograde and the notions of exaltation, domicile, detriment, and fall (the 1st two of the five essential dignities of the planets – the notions of domicile/detriment and exaltation/fall). If I’m totally honest, I certainly take the ideas of domicile/detriment and exaltation/fall into consideration when I read charts for people, but I’m not ride or die with them. I think they are something to consider, but just because someone has a planet exalted doesn’t mean that planet won’t have issues, and just because someone has […]
In this blog post, I am going to play around with a couple of charts to explain how to MAYBE use the GC in chart weaving and the important pieces of the “Galactic Center Puzzle” in each of these charts that would want to be considered if you were to read the chart through the lens of the GC. I’m not really sure if “reading the chart through the lens of the GC” is the right way to put that, but since I’m still learning how to incorporate this shit myself, breaking the chart down via the lens of the GC feels most “correct” to say (and then weaving that shit back together). **Here is the video that goes along with this blog post for all you that would rather watch than read****I also went into some of this without chart visuals in my last blog post** I will not be going over either of the charts in completion – just kind of pointing out exactly what should be looked at when reading from the lends of the GC. This chart belongs to someone I know pretty well (or, lol, I think I know pretty well…..but you can think you know someone well all day long and not really know them at all – that’s another discussion for another day hahahaha I digress). Anywho, as you can see, they have the GC in the 9th House and Neptune is conjunct the GC within a couple of degrees. Their Mars and […]
This week past week has been incredibly difficult. I’m not someone who is really ever “triggered” by shit (my Capricorn Moon & Saturn conjunct my rising don’t really allow me to pay that much attention to anything that actually might trigger me). “Push through it, bitch!” is what my inner monologue will typically say to me. This week, my inner monologue fell very silent (I’m thinking to myself in my head after everything this week “oh yeah? Inner Ellie voice, you ain’t got shit to say, motherfucker!?”) She didn’t. I was looking at my transits for the past week, and while I already knew I have some dumb-ass shit going on (that I would typically prefer to ignore), I noticed that the transit Sun was also conjunct my natal Chiron. This happens once a year, but this year it hit me incredibly hard with all the other dumb ass shit going on transit wise to my chart. This got me thinking a whole hell of a lot about Chiron…and possible tie-in’s between Chiron and the GC. I also think it’s really interesting that when I wasn’t working on work for my clients or spending time with my Son, the one thing that actually helped me not to smash things this past week was writing, talking, and thinking about the GC. This post is going to primarily deal with connections (or what feels like connections) between Chiron and the Galactic Center – and it does feel like there is a tie-in […]
In some of the videos that I ‘ve done recently, I’ve brought up the notion of whistleblowers and the GC. This isn’t an entirely new idea in and of itself – there have been some articles done on this and that it does seem to be common for well known whistleblowers to have GC conjunctions, oppositions, etc. (there most definitely appears to be a correlation). What I haven’t seen as mentioned is the notion that a good majority of these people have Jupiter Rx in their natal charts (or were born during the shadow period just after Jupiter goes direct). While I think the GC is a protective force for people in general when they lean into the GC’s energy and don’t fight it (I really do believe this – but the “not fighting it part” is important here), in the case of GC conjunctions and whistleblowers, the conjunctions seem to add an urge to get the “truth” out there. There also seems to be what I would consider a “protective” element to this as well. I think Jupiter Rx can ALSO be a protective force for these people (here is my last blog post about Jupiter Rx in connection to the GC in general). I think another protective force has to do with having something trine the GC – an actual planet or something major to give the whistleblower “safe passage” to translate the truth that they need to tell down to Earth (here is the blog post about […]
I’m baaaaack! And talking about a topic within astrology that I love….which is retrograde planets. Hahahaha, honestly I have been so busy these past (about) 4 months that I just haven’t had a spare moment to actually add to my astrological ramblings. And I’m truly SO eternally grateful for this, for the people that have hired me to do readings for them and kept me so busy. Practicing astrology (and being able to ACTUALLY practice astrology for clients) is one of the great loves of my life. So, to everyone that has hired me to do work for them, thank you so very much 🙂 Over the past few months I have had several clients with a shitload of retrograde planets in their natal charts. Not only that though, but I have also seen an influx of questions on the different forums that I frequently creep on/answer questions on about what it means to have whatever planet in retrograde (and we could be talking about any planet here, except for the Sun and Moon, which never go retrograde). I tend to look at retrograde planets through more of the soul’s journey kind of lens, meaning I believe they tend to be things that our soul wanted to learn about and understand in a myriad of different ways throughout our different incarnations on Planet Earth/this 3D dimension. Thinking about it from this point of view helps to put it all into perspective for me. For some reason, the soul really wanted […]
